We love and admire Sandra Tanner…we will always be in her debt for seeing clearly what we could not.
The Tanners helped so many of us through the maze of deceit with documented evidence in days when it seemed impossible to obtain..always leading with a kind hearts.

I absolutely loved this interview. ❤️ My first introduction to Sandra was nearly 30 years ago. I am now just a few months shy of the 20-year anniversary of my exit from the church. As a direct decendant of one of the early prophets, the unraveling and rewireing of the teachings has proven to be a lifelong journey.
I never tire of listening to Sandra speak.❤

I love every single Sandra Tanner episode! It was really neat to hear about the reservations she had about coming on Mormon stories. It sounds like she has grown a lot from coming into this space, which is amazing cuz she's taught us oodles. Can't wait for another episode!

Has Sandra ever written an autobiography? If not, she needs to preserve all of these stories from meeting Ervil LeBaron to stories of her Brigham Young descendant relatives. I would buy this book!

Yes, they have a biography that came out in 2022. She gave all the information to the author and he did a brilliant job. The author is Ron Huggins, title is “Lighthouse: Jerland and Sandra Tanner “

Three of my grandparents were descendants of Mormon pioneers - one of whom was Brigham Young’s sister Rhoda. Anyway, on my mother’s maternal side - my 2nd great grandmother Mary Field Garner, kicked her husband out of their house when he showed up with a 2nd wife - after Mary had given birth to 10 kids with the last child still an infant at the time. My mom said the church wouldn’t help Mary financially, so she had to take in washing to supplement whatever income came from their farm in Hooper. I just can’t imagine the difficulty of all of this, yet Mary lived to 107!

Dear Sister (you are "Sister" to me!) Tanner... I remember my father talking about his Wardle cousins when I was little. He admired them so much. I met one of his Wardle cousins, a former ambassador to a Middle Eastern country -- I think -- in the 1960s. He had a museum set up in his Springville, Utah home. His collection was fascinating; his breadth of knowledge was impressive.

It's kinda funny. When I was active the Tanner's were the devil incarnate! Evil, and fighting God, they were. Now, they are heroes. Brave souls that stood up for the truth despite all the hate, and vitriol thrown against them. Thank you Jerald and Sandra for standing tall. You saw things most of us were unable and too brainwashed to see. You have been a beacon of light for many of us.
