- Unfortunately, it is time for Brucie the VW T5.1 Danbury Campervan to go. My Campervan has been amazing but doesn't suit our needs anymore!
So we made a decision to change it for something completely different. I now have a Nu Venture Compact Micro Camper, based on a Fiat Double Cargo
It is the perfect camper for a solo traveller, but can travel and sleep 2 if needed

Looks a nicely equipped van and will probably free up some capitol for you as the VW's are over priced for what they are, and this is coming from someone who spent 16 years working for VW Commercials.Reminds me of my teenage years camping in a Marina van (you will be too young to know what one of them are haha) Chris
Haha I don’t know what a marina van is true but yes the VWs certainly hold their money, fingers crossed the sale all works out for us (in the right direction!)

Reminds me of my little Berlingo, although she was never professionally converted. I used her for work and travel. And have pieces of furniture that kind of went together like Lego for a fast conversion.

Makes sense swapping the T5 if you don’t need it as the Postman Pat van is way easier to park up and use as a daily. Look forward to more content soon 😊

Aww I think it’s deffo worth looking in to! It’s so good have a versatile vehicle you can go off in adventures for but also use to run around. Haha could you imagine us trying to all squeeze in to a little van, the cats come with too much stuff for that 🤣 I totally get that, hopefully your husband will get it, go for it! Xx

Love it. I have a micro camper, smaller than yours with no pop top or heating.
Due to rental increases and the pittance of a teaching salary I am likely to be full time by March (I can feel the cramp thinking about it lol)
Oh wow! That is hard core, I can’t lie, I couldn’t go without the heating, I hate being cold 😆 I tend to keep the top down if I’m wild camping and I’ve found in winter, I have the roof down to keep heat in and noise out. You get used to it but it’s good to be able to stretch!

What was the main drive to change the vans. The Danbury looked good.
To be honest it was layout. The Danbury was a fantastic van and I was sad to change but for just me and how I use it and work from it, the Doblo layout works better personally!

😆 not a fan of the new van? I’m sad to see the T5 go but it’s so much van to sit not being used as much, hoping someone else can make the most of it and take it for epic adventures!
