When I was a kid, I used to have a DV27 on the back of my bike and we used to nick the 6V batteries out of the flashing lights that used to be at roadworks. I had a Midland 100M 40 channel AM CB. They spoiled CB radio, when they legalised it.
Ian Hand not sure what your on about Nicking road work batteries never done that 😉😉who didn’t take the batteries out of the road work lights for there projects . Am cb is now legal here in the uk
It’s ok on fm CB it’s 3kc off on ssb CB . Will do 24-30mhz . Not tried it on 10m ssb of fm you more ssb adjustments on 10m as soon as the band opens I would like to try it on 10m and see if I can get a contact

@@2j4ez Yes, I know it's been legalised. Technically though, you can't use older radios.
@@ianhand5006 AM is legal but a AM only CB is not legal as far as im aware
Them old Harriers are bullet proof
old CB's are bullet proof and seem to work no matter what state there in

Battery has been charged just got to test SWR and hope weather is good this week and should be out on the bike with the radio
