- A tribute to legendary James Bowen and companion Bob that saved his life.
In honour of him, they are currently having donations in order to raise a statue of them in Covent Garden, Angel Islington where James used to busk. God bless.

I am a Norwegian cat lover‚ and like million of others I was totally devastated when I learned about Bob's tragic death. He was totally exceptional; as my wife says, he was an Einstein among cats, end his emotional insight certainly was enormous.
When you two meet again, James, you will greet each other with a high five, and then be together forever.

Bob was adorable. Many of us are upset that he should have died the way he did, and some of us at least can’t stop wondering how it could have happened. James may be feeling too upset to talk about it at the moment. But he must have asked himself how, in spite of all his care and precautions, his precious cat managed to meet with such an unfortunate end. . I hope one day he tells us what he knows

That’s what I have thought about. He had a catio for the cat because he didn’t let him out because it was dangerous and he might have got taken. So how did he get run over?.x
@@samanthahowse570 very true,how did he get run over if he has a catio? unless bob escaped or went over a wall or someone took him? either way poor bob died from being run over,however its a mystery and how do they know he was run over as well?
I am sorry to say that more information has been emerging and it appears Bob passed under very suspicious circumstances. I hope too that one day James will have the courage to tell the truth about what really happened. Bob was beautiful inside and out and deserves justice.

Jesus, stop blaming James for Bob’s death. He adored that cat, that cat saved his life and no one knows it better than James. I found a rescue cat who was my soulmate, but he slipped off my upstairs porch railing never to be seen again. I spent over $1000 putting up flyers and ads, but he was never found. Do you think I don’t still cry over that 7 years later? If you’ve never lost a pet where your everyday happiness is tied up in knowing at least where they are, you’ll never understand……ever.

I loved Bob since the beginning. I live with cats for the last 28 years. Each time one of my cats passed away, it hurt terribly and still hurt, but I try to focus on the good life I was able to provide to them. Bob passing away hurt me terribly and yes I cried and still does. I try to focus on the wonderful life he had. I feel like I lost my own cat. Like so many people, I loved Bob. He really was very special. And so handsome.
You and Bob were good together. You cared for Bob and in return, he cared for you. Because of that little angel, your life and I am certain, the life of many people have also changed; well mine changed: I now bring my beautiful cat Lina for walk in the park everyday; she reallly enjoys it. You see Bob had and still has a good influence on people. Bob was and still is the people cat. Love him forever. Courage James, he is still with you. Love you little furry body. Enjoy your new life where you are.
Hello there, me and my Mom were deeply Saddened by the loss of Bob. We had the privelage of meeting James at a book signing. We also had our beloved Wolfie vanish in 2019.
Bobs legacy will live on through his books and movies.
