Absolutely. I'm a fairly recent David Lynch fan. I discovered him in 2015. I was lucky enough to watch Twin Peaks for my very 1st David Lynch film/series. After I finished Twin Peaks: Seasons 1, 2 & Fire Walk With Me, I immediatly looked up the rest of Lynch's filmography, and watched all of his movies over the course of the week. I'm actually kind of glad I didn't discover him until 2015, because at least it was only a 2 year wait until Twin Peaks: The Return came out.

Yes! I was 13,when in my country was for the 1st. time (september 1993) presented Twin Peaks. Since then,I´m trapped in Lynch´s art and psychedelic WEB! 4 years later I was in art cinema and watching ERASERHEAD on big screen. Undescribable!

I was like 4 years old when I watched Twin Peaks for the first time (in the 80s) and I remember how mesmerizing Badalamenti's soundtrack was, but the episodes were really dark for a kid of that age.
I rediscovered Lynch with 20 something years old and watched his best movies. Since then, I am in love with his style.

I think every person that has met David and isn't named Anthony Hopkins or Michael J. Anderson love him. I was reading his book and was surprised to see how kindly even his ex-wives speak of him. Three ex-wives and you're still on good terms with all them? A guy like that has to not just be a class act, but some sort of beacon of positive vibes.

Honestly, Laura and Kyle could have broken down sobbing during this tribute and I would have completely understood. This must've been so very emotional and sentimental and stirring for them to do. They really maintained composure, and focused on the deep abiding love they have for this great man.
Nobody paints cinematic imagery and sounds like David Lynch has done during his career in film and TV. He revels in creating a place where there's such intense beauty, such stark evil and danger, such whimsical comedy, and such tantalizing mystery. I am proud and grateful to live in a world that is lucky enough to have the gift of his films and television programs.

When I was around 11, watching "Eraserhead", it was the beginning of an amazing journey! A couple of years later I've watched the first episode of Twin Peaks with my mom. When it finished the second season, I could say since then the way I see any series or movies has never been the same. I always want more, deeper, not so obvious, that allows me to travel anywhere, with no right or wrong, ..., Thank God "Twin Peaks - The return' happened, 25 years later. Oh, my!
No one else could make me happier than David's productions.
It was so special each episode on the first day of its release. After a long shift, I'd come back home, turn on the TV, grab a good mug of coffee, watch Badalamenti's tune for the opening while I was seeing that waterfall, the water running, that peaceful and unique place, and tears of happiness.
"Am I dreaming? 25 years later. Is it really Twin Peaks back?"
It's unexplainable. Sorry for the mistakes in the sentences. I wrote with my heart. Thanks, David.

My hands down, all down favorite writer/director of all time. Kubrick, Tarantino, Anderson, Aronofsky, Polanski, Bergman, Bertolucci, Scorsese, Leone, Hitchcock and Park Chan-wook: All brilliant. All masters. But they’re art is not my favorite. That hat is worn by Mr. Lynch and only Mr. Lynch. For all time, he’s my favorite. When I share this with someone for the first time, I immediately know if we’re compatible or not. If they say “OMG I hate his films. They make no sense”, or “He’s amazing, I love his work” or “Who’s that?”, I automatically know if we’re to be close friends or not 🤣 it’s the “Lynchian Test” 😂 Because no one else makes the kind of art that David Lynch makes. It’s so distinct, so original, so mind warping, so authentically Lynch, not only does it tell me a lot about a person finding out if they like his films or not, I can compare his singularity to The Beatles even. When you hear The Beatles, there’s no doubt that it’s THE BEATLES. There are imitators, but their distinct sound and signature cannot be duplicated. They are the one and only one that’s THE ONE. Much like The Beatles, DAVID LYNCH IS IN ANOTHER LEAGUE ALL HIS OWN. The fact that he did not win any Emmy’s for Twin Peaks or Twin Peaks:The Return, well that’s just utter blasphemy. The fact that he’s never won a competitive Oscar is also complete and utter blasphemy, and goes to show that it’s very hard for anyone making truly original art to win over “The Academies”. They’ve ignored brilliance and originality many times over and are not the real authority on deciding what’s “worthy”. History and the test of time are. And as time goes on, I believe David’s works will come to be regarded more and more as genius, as genre bending impossible to classify masterpieces, as art that changed the rules of what was possible, and as the work of a very brilliant mind light years ahead of most people’s. They will be hailing him long after we’re all dead and gone, including him. History has showed us time and again, that most genius is not recognized in it’s own time. David Lynch is no exception. But when I ponder the fact that his films and projects are so cerebral and existential, so inventive and imaginative, so brilliant and intelligent in how they require the viewer to actually think, so boundary pushing and unique, it’s no wonder his mastery is sometimes not recognized, understood, or appreciated. His brilliance is not often understood by the mainstream. Not to sound elitist, but I truly believe he’s a high level thinker with a brilliant mind...who in turn makes art most often understood by high level thinkers and brilliant minds. And for those that love him, those who are blown away when watching a Lynch project, those of us who “get it”, well aren’t we the lucky ones? 👍 LONG LIVE THE MASTER.
