Let's all remember that Hollywood ostracized Laura Dern for a year or two for being in that episode on Ellen. Oprah Winfrey said she got the second most amount of hate mails for being in that episode. So let's praise these two brave women for being on the right side of history and took personal hits for doing so.

and the Star Wars! I can only imagine her as an actress, and as a fan of a franchise, to be standing in front of this fictional, yet iconic character, it really speaks about her humbleness to have felt that way she did. Even with her experience and career, the fan, the child within her took over. And to have the privilege of being part of Jurassic Park and Star Wars history must be amazing too.

@@Princess2Warrior well, I have no idea about that. I'm not a Star Wars fan, but I'm fan of other things like Pokémon and I know fanbases can be really harsh when they don't like something. However, despite what fans decide to praise or ignore about their favorite franchises, for the rest of the world those things still exist. Most Pokémon fans don't recognize Let's Go as a main game, most Britney fans fon't recognize Britney Jean as an official album, and maybe Star Wars fans don't consider The Last Jedi as part of the rest, but they're all part of their franchises for the rest of the world. And for Laura it will always be meaningful to have been part of this movie.

I first fell and in love with Laura Dern In one of her earlier movies titled “Smooth Talk” with Treat Williams. It was a coming-of-age story about a typical teenage girl who does little more than run around with her friends and flirt with boys. Then she meats a strange, good looking, older man who had been stalking her. It had such an impact on me in the 90s. I found the full movie the other day online and watched it again. Today I am disappointed “Smooth Talk” wasn’t on her list. But I still love her! I also enjoyed the series “Enlightened.” I could easily watch the whole series again. Just know that this is not a complete list.
