I have been obsessed with my Charlotte Tilbury concealer that came out a couple months ago. It is the best I have used by a mile. But this has me very intrigued.

I have and love my Sublimage foundation but way to messy to travel with. So I love Chanel de No.1 for that. (I’m a flight attendant so products that travel well are a must). I would need to see this in natural light, after an allllllll day wear to see if it slides off, cakes or creases. Hello Kathy!!! Oh yes. For a flight attendant, travel capability is HUGE. Bigger than huge. When I touched it up, it truly only that I kept taking off my eye makeup with a wet makeup remover towel so I could film with another palette....so the concealer took a beating as you can imagine. This stuff really lasts on me....but you gotta like that texture...and it's messy like the foundation.
I am interested in this. I don’t have a concealer I really like. For the price it would definitely be my only concealer. I don’t think you need much. However I haven’t seen anyone with a deeper skin tone review this.
Totally agreed. I would love to see it on a deeper skin tone but, as long as your shade exists, let me tell you, this is a very good product. If you get a moment, and you have time to check into it, let me know your thoughts on the shade selection.
Hi Rebecca, I have been hearing good things about this concealer and particularly how well it covers dark circles. However, what caught my eye was how well it seems to cover that dark area on the inside of the eye to the brow bone. I've tried concealers and peach correctors in that area with mixed success. If this concealer relieves darkness there, it would be worth the investment for me. I'm so glad you could assess it around the eyes and on the face and give us your impression. (P.S. I have blue veins in the same areas as you. 🙂)
Tracey! You have blue veins in that same area on the side of the eyes, too? Isn’t it the strangest thing? And one of the main areas I actually need concealer for plus the inside of the eyesocket so both of those sides of the eye. This does very very well. It’s not perfect but it hides without caking. Sometimes I can get better correcting but then it will cake a little bit which actually draws more attention. So what this doesn’t cover it tends to caress and conceal a little bit. More flattering in a way.

I went to the dermatologist to get a skin lightener for my sun spots and when I asked if it would work on the side of my eye, she pointed out that it wasn’t a dark spot but a vein. And no, the lightening cream won’t work on it, but looks like this concealer may be worth a try. Thanks for the review ❤️❤️
Reminds me of Trinny London's BFF Eye. Lovely product but messy in the pot. Packaging changed to a tube now which is a lot less messy. I'm a concealer junkie (dark circles, lines and troughs) but doubt I'd pay this much. Lots of great concealers to compete with

It is very pretty on you. I talked myself out of buying this. First, I really don’t need it. Second, I don’t want to spend that much for a concealer. Third, I do not like the container. If I were to buy it, I would decant it into an airless pump jar. Thank you for another terrific review.❤
Whoa! $95 is steep, but if it would work on my finicky under eyes it might be worth it. I'd have to sample it first. Right now I'm using a couple of Exa color correctors, which are pretty good and considerably less expensive. But I am curious about this Chanel concealer.
Wow! That is a pricey item but it is Chanel so no surprise with the cost. I am bummed that it does not have the beloved Chanel fragrance included!!! This is very pretty!! I really do not need a new concealer and I’m impressed that it covers darkness well and it is soooo brightening! I love that it doesn’t have to be combined with a concealer, so that’s cool. I have used the Tatcha Pearl and it reminds me a bit like that product but with a bit more coverage. I have been loving their water tint lately so maybe I can give this a whirl!!! ❤
I am surprised....and slightly dismayed, haha, at how much I like this product. And YES, not having to also color correct is a blessing. Ah, Tatcha. You know I love them as well. Gosh darn it. I only like the pricey things. Grumble!

Also, the Channel No. 1 foundation makes your skin look absolutely gorgeous! Not that your skin doesn’t normally look great, but there is a slight radiance and light the No. 1 provides that’s hard to pinpoint unless someone knows what that particular foundation does.
SUSAN! I try so many foundations that I actually forgot how much I really love the Chanel number one. And yesterday, I wore it again, simply because it was a Chanel video and I kept looking in the mirror, amazed. It is a very beautiful foundation and with this concealer, it’s going to be a tough one to beat.

Ya know, I'm not ENTIRELY sure you'd need to set it with powder....SPECIFICALLY but but but, I think everyone benefits from setting their concealer with a nice powder anyway! ❤

Hey Karen! Night and day between this and the PML. The PML is, as you know, cream in a wand form and VERY thick. Must be dotted on and blended. Can cake. This is much more fluid like, blends and builds easier but I am biased against thick concealers. They are very very different though.
You look so pretty today Rebecca. I am very interested in splurging on this concealer, since I have the Chanel Sublimage foundation in liquid form. HG foundation for me. But, I’m wondering if this concealer comes in different shades, or just this one shade. It looks really good on you, but I’ve seen other ytubers demonstrate this in different shades.
Hello Janice! Absolutely. An entire array of shades. And, as I said, we really went back-and-forth among probably three or four shades for me and chose this one. I had wanted to buy two shades but, thankfully, my sales associate talked me out of it. I hadn’t realized how pricey it was! 💕
The concealer looks really nice! You definitely look brighter in the places you applied it. I can’t really see the blue veins on video, did it do a good job covering them? I have a big one that runs above my lip and looks like a blue mustache if I am not careful. This is worth the price if one coat covers the veins and lasts!

What color did you wear no 1 foundation ? I have this foundation in 30 so could I bring it up under my eyes or go for lighter color ? I normally wear 32 but it seems orange to me more. Do you like TF one or this

I initially matched myself with B 20 and it wasn’t bad but the sales associate changed it in store and I’m much happier with it I like this much better than any Tom Ford although you need to tell me specifically which Tom Ford I still like this better than any of the Tom Ford. Hello Mirna! I believe that's B65 but I need to check to make sure. Will correct that if wrong. I actually did not powder over it but I tend to lazily skip powder. That being said, I think all under eye concealer really does benefit from a dusting of good, translucent powder.

This concealer i really want!!!! It's not a maybe, it's a yes. But not sure about what colour i want yet. And these European brands, there are always reduction actions here, for instance, the Chanel Christmas makeup collection is already 25 pct off here at ICI Paris XL. Maybe i'll buy that giant highlighter for a friend with deeper complexion for Christmas. So, i'm not gonna order this in France, i wait until it's here. And not 100 pct sure that it's in sale right away, but it's only waiting. And when all the covid stuff is out off my body i want to see this, still more expensive concealer in a store, i think. I adore the Nars color corrector. If you get the right shade it’s just peachy enough to be a color correct mor and just concealer like enough to act as a concealer also. There’s your cheaper option in Sephora.
Thoughts on price: what happened to the $60-$70 price tag??? 😂😂 Nothing happened: it’s just not there!!! 😃 Thoughts on usage: brilliant, because I am tired of wearing corrector and then concealer. I don’t have dark circles, but a little darkness is always there (especially if I’m tired). That being said, I learned (in the beauty community) that adding a peach-colored corrector underneath a concealer really brightens the under-eye area. So if we do some advanced calculus here, we start with TWO layers of product-and that doesn’t include foundation. So the math ain’t mathing. Too many layers mean thickness and “cakiness.” Soooo having one product that both corrects and conceals is genius. How many ounces do we get?? 😃🥰🥰🥰💖

@@pinksparkle258 ooooooooo. Here’s the thing. I always do a cost per wear analysis and I know that’s silly but it works for me. So, if I know I’m gonna wear the sunglasses twice a week three times a week. Are the shoes going to be a staple or do they just go with three outfits. So if I spend a ton of money on a pair of 4 inch heels I know I’m gonna wear them once a year maximum. Then the Sephora stuff. Is it skin care that you use daily and you could really do with the savings or is it a sparkling silver shade that you will wear once a year? Do you know what I mean. Whichever one is going to get the most use is the most cost-effective and wins. There’s also a joy factor that has to go in there because that is why we buy luxury goods and by that I mean does it make your heart beat faster when you look at it even if it’s just in your closet. And that is something that, say, skin care will never bring but the shoes and sunglasses will. Also, one could say that the beauty products will probably always be there and the Chanel products are seasonal. I’m just making it worse!

Hey Karen! Night and day between this and the PML. The PML is, as you know, cream in a wand form and VERY thick. Must be dotted on and blended. Can cake. This is much more fluid like, blends and builds easier but I am biased against thick concealers. They are very very different though.
You look so pretty today Rebecca. I am very interested in splurging on this concealer, since I have the Chanel Sublimage foundation in liquid form. HG foundation for me. But, I’m wondering if this concealer comes in different shades, or just this one shade. It looks really good on you, but I’ve seen other ytubers demonstrate this in different shades.
Hello Janice! Absolutely. An entire array of shades. And, as I said, we really went back-and-forth among probably three or four shades for me and chose this one. I had wanted to buy two shades but, thankfully, my sales associate talked me out of it. I hadn’t realized how pricey it was! 💕

The concealer looks really nice! You definitely look brighter in the places you applied it. I can’t really see the blue veins on video, did it do a good job covering them? I have a big one that runs above my lip and looks like a blue mustache if I am not careful. This is worth the price if one coat covers the veins and lasts!
TOTALLY lasts. Yep, covered the veins. It's hard to see them on camera but they're there on both sides like inky blotches. Ugh. Covers them tho!

What color did you wear no 1 foundation ? I have this foundation in 30 so could I bring it up under my eyes or go for lighter color ? I normally wear 32 but it seems orange to me more. Do you like TF one or this
I am BR 22. I initially matched myself with B 20 and it wasn’t bad but the sales associate changed it in store and I’m much happier with it I like this much better than any Tom Ford although you need to tell me specifically which Tom Ford I still like this better than any of the Tom Ford. Or do you mean too faced? Still going with this

Hello Mirna! I believe that's B65 but I need to check to make sure. Will correct that if wrong. I actually did not powder over it but I tend to lazily skip powder. That being said, I think all under eye concealer really does benefit from a dusting of good, translucent powder.

This concealer i really want!!!! It's not a maybe, it's a yes. But not sure about what colour i want yet. And these European brands, there are always reduction actions here, for instance, the Chanel Christmas makeup collection is already 25 pct off here at ICI Paris XL. Maybe i'll buy that giant highlighter for a friend with deeper complexion for Christmas. So, i'm not gonna order this in France, i wait until it's here. And not 100 pct sure that it's in sale right away, but it's only waiting. And when all the covid stuff is out off my body i want to see this, still more expensive concealer in a store, i think. I don't know a lot about Chanel, and i don't know my shade, i'm a bit lighter than you, don't know 10 or 20. But yesssssssss i loved loved loved this video, looks so super flawless on you, so elegant!!!! I find this concealer so interesting, but I simply can't spend that much on less than an oz of product. It's rare that a price shocks me but this one truly did lol. Makes me want it even more, ugh!! Instead I will buy something boring and cheaper during the Sephora sale, need something new for undereyes
I adore the Nars color corrector. If you get the right shade it’s just peachy enough to be a color correct mor and just concealer like enough to act as a concealer also. There’s your cheaper option in Sephora.
I don’t mind the scent. What I don’t like is the package. It is messy.

Thoughts on price: what happened to the $60-$70 price tag??? 😂😂 Nothing happened: it’s just not there!!! 😃 Thoughts on usage: brilliant, because I am tired of wearing corrector and then concealer. I don’t have dark circles, but a little darkness is always there (especially if I’m tired). That being said, I learned (in the beauty community) that adding a peach-colored corrector underneath a concealer really brightens the under-eye area. So if we do some advanced calculus here, we start with TWO layers of product-and that doesn’t include foundation. So the math ain’t mathing. Too many layers mean thickness and “cakiness.” Soooo having one product that both corrects and conceals is genius. How many ounces do we get?? 😃🥰🥰🥰💖

@@pinksparkle258 ooooooooo. Here’s the thing. I always do a cost per wear analysis and I know that’s silly but it works for me. So, if I know I’m gonna wear the sunglasses twice a week three times a week. Are the shoes going to be a staple or do they just go with three outfits. So if I spend a ton of money on a pair of 4 inch heels I know I’m gonna wear them once a year maximum. Then the Sephora stuff. Is it skin care that you use daily and you could really do with the savings or is it a sparkling silver shade that you will wear once a year? Do you know what I mean. Whichever one is going to get the most use is the most cost-effective and wins. There’s also a joy factor that has to go in there because that is why we buy luxury goods and by that I mean does it make your heart beat faster when you look at it even if it’s just in your closet. And that is something that, say, skin care will never bring but the shoes and sunglasses will. Also, one could say that the beauty products will probably always be there and the Chanel products are seasonal. I’m just making it worse!
