Well now I wanna see what's on the other side of the bridge!! I appreciate how much you look after folks on the river, and make space for all levels of boaters.
It is called Worser Wesser. A big, chunky rapid that wouldn't be a good experience to swim. If you are ever there, take a 50 yd stroll past the bridge downriver to see it!
Thanks for including the MWA (Missouri Whitewater Association) folks in this video and letting the girls snap a few pics. If it is in the winter or springtime the next time you are in Missouri, bring your whitewater boat. The Saint Francis River is our home river, and it's beautiful there. It's not a difficult run, but the people there are awesome!!!
@@RiverKingsKayak I think it’s awesome bro, you spread a lot of good vibes by doing that. Along with the swimmer bell, the “world famous” quote is another trademark in your videos.
once again I catch myself watching river kings.. for encouragement. this time nantahala. i have ran freebie to cement beach upright in my recon aiming at it again this summer
Is that area where Jon whirl pooled in a difficult spot to roll in? I was the dude in the green boat that day that missed like 3 rolls in that spot and had to swim. Looking for excuses other then I suck.
That rapid is called whirlpool. It can def be a little tough to roll in there. Sometimes you have to wait for the water to be right for the roll. It is a great place to practice combat rolling and getting comfortable being upside down in weird water.
If I were to get the chance to learn whitewater, I would choose to learn from you. I watch Ken witing from paddle tv, and you seem more like a regular joe who would be cool to paddle with. Ken seems to be to yuppy rich and has false statements about Euro blades being better then Greenland paddles. Maybe it's better for whitewater, but in open water, it takes a back seat. Whitewater intimidates me
Thanks Adam! You should give WW a try! It is great fun and you can keep it pretty chill or rev it up depending on how much excitement you are after. Ken is a fantastic human being! He is as good as they come and without all the ego that sometimes comes with being a world champion which he is. I'll paddle with Ken anytime!
My first cameo on RiverKings! 😂 I found the perfect moment to go swimming at the NOC!
Nailed it Bart!!
