The whole Wrecking Crew would be nice too, most recent one was Bulldozer, the others are older from waaayyy back. Another chance to get classic Lizard and Doc Ock too.
Colossus definitely needs a new mold. That figure came out in 2019, but it feels more dated than that. And some things on it just don't look so good. Fat forearms, feet that look like tumors, the ab crunch doesn't look right, hips look gappy.
I think they should do Titania, Absorbing Man, Rogue, Professor X (yellow and black costume), Enchantress, and Beyonder. The Wrecking Crew should be a 4-pack.
The “coins” from the original waves were shields the figures could hold, and they were lenticular. Included were matching lenticular comic panels that could be swapped in and out of the shields, and they would change to reveal “secrets” when you tilted the shields back and forth
Not gonna lie, I'm a sucker for Wolverine, and we really need an updated Mustard Wolverine. I know they didn't do them in the original 80s wave, but we seriously need a new update to the Wrecking Crew. I was hoping for a haslab Beyonder last year instead of Giant Man, but I'll happily take any form of the Beyonder. I still think that if we give it time, we'll see a new Cap with butterflies on the Vulcan/JackOLantern body this year.
I 100% agree on your cap idea. I think they've had that ready to go for a while but they knew they could milk a few more caps out of people before adding butterfly joints. What would you want a Beyonder Haslab to look like?
@@glennmiller6759 If done properly without just re-using a bunch of old molds, I definitely would be cool with that too. Bring On The Bad Guys would be some fun box art too.
Beyonder doesn’t actually have a physical appearance in the original Secret Wars, outside of being a nebulous white glow in space. He does have a body in Secret Wars 2, but if they’re sticking to just the original (be it the comic or the toyline) then The Beyonder’s not too likely
I was thinking he seems more likely to come outside of a retro card. Maybe as an exclusive because I also don't see him as a normal baf wave figure either.
It's crazy how they're just allergic to some characters, they could EASILY make either a She-Hulk and Titania or Absorbing Man and Titania 2-pack, and it's getting harder and harder to believe they won't do her because of her design. First of all, they've been doing less and less retail items so it would be no problem to release her through Pulse or fan channel, they need to stop being scared of imaginary soccer moms. Secondly they've done characters with that type of costume before like Emma Frost and Dagger AND put them out at retail no less. And finally they're not scared to do a muscular lady, Power Princess proves that in spades (they did such a good job with her), so I see no legitimate reason why we can't get Titania at this point and she's never been made in Legends so now's the perfect time.
I agree that we probably will see a Titania at some point but I would be surprised if its on this type of retro card. I just don't see Hasbro thinking she popular enough for a single pack without a baf piece. a 2 pack like you mentioned is probably what will happen though. Especially since they've been putting out 2 packs with bafs from the past.
Marvel legends needs to do diorama playsets. this would breathe life back into marvel legends. This is something if they do correctly, you could build an entire city.
Great chat, Strong Collectors I'm pretty excited with these Secret Wars leaks, but I would prefer figures more focus on the comics rather than the Mattel toy line. My wishes: She-Hulk Titania + Volcana Wrecking Crew Kang Klaw Iron Man Rhodey From the Toy line: Constrictor Classic Falcon with Red Wing Cheers 🍻
It really all depends on if Hasbro focuses this sub-line on the toyline, the comics or a mix of both. Most of figures in the toyline weren't even in the story like Daredevil, Falcon, Iceman, Baron Zemo, Constrictor, Electro, and Hobgoblin. In one way the line could serve to get high demand, evergreen figures back on the market again like Captain America, Symbiote Spidey on RYV, Daredevil on RYV, pinless Brown Wolverine and a ClassicmFalcon. Or if we lean into, the comics; She-Hulk, Wasp, Cyclops, Punk Storm, and the Colossus from the Juggernaut 2 pack with a corrected belt(and maybe new forearms). For villains? Most of the ones from the comic have been available recently except for the Wrecking crew and Absorbing Man. It might be a good opportunity to get bendy tentacles on a classic Doc Ock, and Enchantress a refresh with the new Shriek body. Titania and Volcana are the most needed new characters, and Constrictor, Electro and maybe Kang from the toyline could use a new release. Hobgoblin and Zemo were both pretty recent Legends. If it were my picks I guess i would mostly favor the toyline for heroes... 1.Cap, 2.Symbiote Spidey, 3.Daredevil, 4.Falcon. ... but for villains it would be a mix... 1. Enchantress, 2. Electro, 3. Titania, 4. Volcana. ... that's a lot of women for one wave though so Hasbro might not do that.
Those are really good picks. I would be all in on your 4 heroes plus Electro. I don't really need the ladies but it seems like almost everyone else agrees that Hasbro should make them.
You guys are killin me!!! The figures came with a SHIELD!!! The shields came with inserts that were holograms cards. Plus, Secret Wars needs a Hulk figure with Spiderman blue/red and black suit.
Haha we weren’t buying toys at that time and wanted to get this video out before the reveals. Looks like we had a lot more prep time than we thought. The wave really does seem like it would mostly be repaints or upgrades of figures we already have though.
Beyonder didn't have a corporeal form until he copied the body of Captain America in Secret Wars 2. There were characters in the toy wave that played absolutely NO part in the Secret Wars. ( This occurred in Wave 2 and the characters were Baron Zemo, Daredevil, Falcon, and Hobgoblin. Foreign exclusive that didn't feature in the comics Constrictor, Electro and Iceman. ) P.S. The figures came with lenticular shields (round for the heroes and square for the villains) Each shield had two or three lenticular inserts that you put into the shield. Then when you tilted the shield you saw different images of the characters.
I hope not. I still have one of the villains shields. You have to insert the lenticular image properly or the images don't work. And let's face it, only one person actually needed a shield. Lol
I’d like to see a Howling Commandos wave (plenty of Joe’s to reuse) Shaper Of Worlds 12” figure or BAF wave Classic Adam Warlock Enclave 3 pack with cocoon accessory A few characters (secret wars related) to go with Crystar.
Hopefully we will get a Wrecking Crew! I still have the Secret Wars Wolverine, Iron Man, and Magneto. I only use the primitive Iron Man, use him as Iron Monger because I figure that's the best Obadiah Stane can do.

I’m with Jordan. There’s the unmistakable scent of freshly repainted figures in the air. Meanwhile, Dakota has solved the mystery of why Hasbro randomly put holes in the classic colors Captain America shield . Hasbro: “We would have gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for those darn Strong Collectors!” In addition to Hasbro’s tried and true strategy of “We’ll gladly sell you the same Hamburger next Tuesday except this time we won’t forget (wink, wink) the pickles.”, this would be a great opportunity to slot two fan demanded characters into the line: Classic versions of Falcon and She-Hulk. I would love to see the Wrecking Crew and Titania, but I think a lot of that is going to depend on how many waves are planned.
I wouldn't be mad at Hasbro reusing that classic iron man sculpt as an excuse to give us a new James Rhodes civilian head, since he was the acting iron man during the secret wars era. Not the 90s flat top head we got with the deluxe war machine, but a new comic accurate Rhodey head from the 80s.
I hope the Secret Wars figures ... have far more articulation than the original figures had .... before... in the '80's.!! 7 POA ... at least.!! At the very least.!!...11 or more would be nice.!! We don't need dios ... or other things in the package.!! Just great articulated figures ... that can fit in with the Super Powers line.... We NEED a Thor....with Hammer... Captain America ...with Shield.... Red Skull.... Doctor Doom... Iron Man.... Spiderman... fat Dr. Ock....Electro...Kang....Zemo...
I mean I think hasbo is going to take inspiration more so from the packaging and not the articulation. They'll still be Marvel Legends but the boxes will probably look like the old ones.
Unfortunately, .... you'll be right.!! Still... they SHOULD be more articulated for Collectors like me ...!! This is why they will suck.!! Hasblow will miss again.!! @@thestrongcollectors
Not sure how close they'll keep to the original figure release cause alot of those werent in the og story. I hope they do 8 figures like the original release, my dream lineup is F4 She-Hulk, Wolverine, Cyclops, Colossus, Hawkeye, Thor, Daredevil, and Spider-Man (Symbiote) on the Amazing Fantasy body with toe joints. What I think is most likely is Spider-Man (Symbiote), Wolverine, Dr.DOOM, Titania, Absorbing Man, Captain America, Volcana/Spider-Woman, Iron-Man/She-Hulk. Below are all characters appearing in Secret Wars ‘84 Heroes Johnny Storm-Doubtful, OG 4 don’t typically get released separately, Thing-SEE ABOVE Mr.Fantastic-SEE ABOVE She-Hulk-Possible/Likely, (Would like to say “Definitely” but I will explain at the end) 1st appeared as F4 team member in Secret Wars #12, popular, would sell quick, notes on REU$E at the end. Last classic comic release in 2017 modern comic release in 2021. Hulk-Possible, Released 80s style in 2022, could go different head sculpt and a more lime green, REU$E. Captain America-Possible/Likely, could come with portless shield Spider-Man-Definitely, Symbiote Suit Hawkeye-Possible/Unlikely, REU$E from recent Earths Mightiest wave, long sleeve version is more accurate to West Coast Avengers iteration consistency seeing recent WCA 5-Pack release, never released a classic 80’s longsleeve iteration. Thor-Possible, REU$E from recent Earths Mightiest, brighter paint apps, classic beardless head sculpt. Captain Marvel-No, just released in 2-Pack, not an army builder or main character in Secret Wars ‘84 Wasp-Doubtful, suit in Secret Wars isn’t popular BUT a candidate for REU$E from revealed classic Wasp Colossus-Possible/?Unlikely? Popular would sell also candidate for REU$E from 2019 2-pack. Might hear back lash for lack of pinless. Cyclops-Possible/Likely; Highly coveted, would sell quickly, plenty of molds available for REU$E Professor Xavier-Possible, niche outfit, cult following,g REU$E Wolverine-Definitely; Anniversary year, updated pinless brown suit, REU$E would sell. Nightcrawler-Doubtful, Highly Unlikely just revealed release of animated version. Rogue-Possible, never before released iteration of the character, considering Destiny and Mystique leak could be added to Brotherhood of Evil team for collectors. Storm-Possible, popular character and similar iteration released in 2018. Magneto-No, just released animated version last year BUT REU$E and popular character could add head sculpt and purple hands. Spider-Woman-Possible, just released in West Coast 5 pack so 1:1 REU$E, 1st appearance in Secret Wars #7 Zsaji-No, not popular enough to sell BUT Marvel Legends can throw curve balls. Not sure about reuse Villains Kang-Possible, released a great version in 2020, REU$E, also was featured in the original series. Molecule Man-Possible/Unlikely, released in 2023. Absorbing Man-Definitely, (if I’m gauging it right) he seems like a popular figure that hasn’t had a release since 2008. Piledriver-Possible/Unlikely, should be in 4 pack, last released 2012 Thunderball- SEE ABOVE Wrecker-SEE ABOVE, last release 2013 Bulldozer-SEE ABOVE, never received a classic 80s version Ultron-No, recently released 2023 The Lizard-Possible, unlikely recently released 2022 but popular and REU$E Enchantress-Possible/Likely, last released 2017 popular character, REU$E needs an update. Dr.DOOM-Possible, in spite of his 2023 release considering he was a main character in the story i can’t confidently say no, could be used for an DOOM bot army builder if sold separately unlike the captain marvel 2-pack, part of the original toy series Galactus-No, I bleeping doubt it unless this all is really for a haslab and they want to go with the tried and true. Titania-Definitely, seems popular, first appeared in Secret Wars #3, REU$E? (Will elaborate at end) Volcana-Possible/Likely, never before released, first appeared in Secret Wars #3, REU$E? (Will elaborate at end) Klaw-Possible/Unlikely, last released 2018 in 2 pack, not sure how popular. So possible issue with Titania, She-Hulk, and Volcana reusing Power Princess parts; according to the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition published in 1985 Power Princess is 6’8”, She-Hulk is 6’7”, Titania is 6’6”, and Volcana is 6’5”; Power Princess is about 6.75in (a smidge shorter than Angela) while the most recently released 2021 comic She-Hulk figure is about 7.25in which side by side that half inch is significant. So they could reuse the Power Princess parts for a She-Hulk, Titania, and Volcana but they might get complaints or they could use a new mold that’s viable for all three I just doubt they’ll do a new mold and Volcana is bit thicker than She-Hulk and Titania so those are the issues I see with getting those characters. Beyonder didn’t appear in a humanoid form till Secret Wars II in ’85, will DEFINITELY get next year. Can assume he’ll be in all white outfit from covers #6 and #8 but he was originally blonde. I also think we’ll get classic New Mutants that year as well.
Is the wave gonna be: A) An homage to the Mattel toy line, of which several of the characters were not in the maxi-series B) Faithful to the maxi-series C) A blend of both However it plays out, this is the perfect opportunity to finish the original series roster with Titania and Volcana, plus adding in Beyonder in his Secret Wars II human guise. If we don’t get at least Titania, there is something really wrong in Hasbro Land.
I wouldn't hold your breath on her. I feel like she's probably more suited for a 2 pack or baf wave. it's possible but I don't know that she's popular enough to be in the retro card. I feel like they would go more for the heavy hitters.
Volcana and Titania have never been done. Maybe they will come like the recent two pack that featured Captain Marvel with Dr. Doom in his Beyonder armor , the releases might come with a hero and a villain. Classic Iron Man with a Rhodey head, She-Hulk in her singlet look or Fantastic Four costume, Rogue in her original costume, Prof. X in a wheel chair, and of course The Beyonder himself. Symbiote Spider-Man on the ryv buck is a given, I'd think. Wolverine on his new buck in the brown costume would be nice, too. I'm hoping for a new Wrecking Crew myself!
nearly 100% of the comments say Titania and a lot say Volcana... Maybe I'm a noob but I've never read a single comic with Titania (maybe she was a background character in a giant group), and outside of UA-cam comments I've never seen or heard of Volcana which makes me think there's no way they could be single release figures outside of a baf wave.
Volcana -tends- to be more of a supporting character and love interest for Molecule Man and best friend to Titania rather than be an out and out "super villain". But, she is a fun (and very powerful) character and visually dynamic. If she was in a two-pack with a comic accurate Titania, she'd sell, especially if given that Nova flaming base. @@thestrongcollectors
I feel if there will be a spiderman it will be black suit spiderman also rektangular leaked a constrictor and crossbones 2 pack already so probably no constrictor unless hasbro pulls a cheap and fast one
oh you're probably right then. I forgot about his leak of Constrictor being in a 2 pack. probably not going to see 2 of him in the same year unless one ends up being an MCU version.
Thanks for the video on this topic guys. If I were to take inspiration from the comic book series, I would pick Wolvie in his brown suit, Spidey in his black suit, Cyclops in his blues, Beyonder, Absorbing Man and Titania. The Wrecking Crew should be 2 X 2-packs.
@@thestrongcollectors I am unaware if I am the first to comment on this or not but here goes; I like Dakota's new seating arrangement. 2022 Jordan called this? Is he Kang?
haha well sadly this is the last video before moving. Not sure what the next set up will be. We'll have another video later this week that we recorded before this one so enjoy it while you can...
We need Titania, She-Hulk, Night Crawler,The wrecking Crew, retro Klaw, and retro Colossus, and the Beyonder. They already made Dr Doom, Photon, and Molecule Man. The rest we need or hopefully get redos. Except Galactus.
I'd really prefer if they'd stick to characters that were part of the story for the Secret Wars line whereas Iceman, Daredevil, Zemo, Constrictor, Hobgoblin, Falcon and Electro had nothing to do with the story. Titania, Beyonder an updated Absorbing Man, Enchantress and/or The Wrecking Crew would all be good choices for villains. The heroes from Secret Wars have been done to death, I can't think of any of them that really demand a new figure other than Wasp and could see them all just being re-issues. A James Rhodes Iron Man would be cool though.
I feel like if they go more based on the comics then we would see something more like the the Beyond Earth's Mightiest line instead of the retro cards.
I hope they don’t do the retro cards. Can you imagine the backlash that’s coming if they are not exactly identical to the older releases, if they have no BAF part. It’s not worth the complaining. They should focus on retro Spider-Man card waves. They’ll still get a lot of hate for it but Spider-Man sells better than any other IP they release.
I'm guessing it'll be like the 20th wave was. costs a little more because of the nostalgia tax and pay homage to the old but still fitting in with the new.
cool specs team I read some comics in 70 - 90, it happens that I read secret wars, liked it I already have my fav versions of ; Hulk, Cap Am, iron man, Colossus, and Ultron, I m hot for ; Dr doom, og Nick Fury, and silver surfer I m warm for maybe Titania, and Enchantress, but I d prefer more skin, remove the leggings. I buy by nostalgia, but a lot for the looks too, and sexy girls? yeah, why not also, og Kingpin, Goblin, Mysterio, Hydra, aim, shields troops oh, I m suggesting 'battle stations' and battle gear packs for gi Joe at Hasbro, they officially replied that they consider it so little dios as in the 80s, some mix great with heroes or villains and.. ram cycles and 4x4 ferrets, claw drones, snake armours... jet packs for joes to support iron man s attack I mix 3 lines, joes, legends, indy, few, but compatible characters I totally see punisher, nick fury, Cap Am, indy on the ram cycle, lol the watch tower, 'dropped' by juggernaut, or lifted by colossus I think this is the shot of freshness 6' lines need right now and joes could only be a start, as it catches on so now you know... good show bros
I love the idea of battle stations and battle gear packs for Legends too. Not that it makes sense but that just seems so 90s to have classics heroes come with giant sets of armor.
@@thestrongcollectors for legends, I see those working very well ; 'air defence' 2 missiles station, L.A.W. laser artillery weapon, basically, a laser cannon station, machine gun defence, 2 anti tank crosses included, and ammo dump depot, the others are ok, but maybe not as relevant, except perhaps the 'check point Alpha' which is a security gate, at fig price point.. it s quite nice to have. thanks bro

I hope we get a classic falcon from this. The ToyBiz one is still my favorite look for him but it really needs an update.
My wish list is
Black suit spider man
Captain America
Baron zemo
Wolverine
The beyonder
Ice man
Battle damaged doom
Battle damaged Doom would be awesome to see. I hope for Jordan's sake that's one of the ones they pick.
Hobgoblin with feet that actually stay in his glider would be appreciated.
and a better glider. the retro one on was kinda meh. but maybe they did that so they could do him again in the 2 pack.
Do you think hasbro will recreate the shields?
I hope not. I still have one of the villains shields. You have to insert the lenticular image properly or the images don't work. And let's face it, only one person actually needed a shield. Lol
I’d like to see a Howling Commandos wave (plenty of Joe’s to reuse)
Shaper Of Worlds 12” figure or BAF wave
Classic Adam Warlock
Enclave 3 pack with cocoon accessory
A few characters (secret wars related) to go with Crystar.
That would be cool to get along with the Shield 3 pack coming this year.
This seems like a good place for a true classic Falcon Dwight teased a year or so ago
Goog point! Come on Dwight! right costume this time.
Hopefully we will get a Wrecking Crew! I still have the Secret Wars Wolverine, Iron Man, and Magneto. I only use the primitive Iron Man, use him as Iron Monger because I figure that's the best Obadiah Stane can do.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a Wrecking Crew this year.
oh, an important factor, battle station, battle gears were at fig price point
I really specified about that point, and.. pressed down hard.
it s mostly a companion product for shelf space - exposure,
joes are hard to spot in stores, not like the 80s...
I d really like that this happens, since it s a natural for this scale,
rare are those that can shell $500 - 400 on a high end model...
give us a break, and fun for cheaper please!
good topic, and sooo on point bros
I never really got into Joes as much but seeing the stuff they're doing now with Classified, I'm a little jealous of how cool they look.
@@thestrongcollectors I had most of the line in the 80s, I m more picky now, ok, price and space, but I just want fewer better now. but mixed with cool legends as punisher, cap am, iron man, nick fury, aim, shields, hydra, the kingpin and men, very few superpowers, dr doom, hulk, juggernaut, colossus, red skull, madam hydra, og ultron, venom, shriek, black cat, mysterio, green goblin, vs joes, cobras, iron grenadiers, in numbers... I admire your hydra, shield army bro, beautiful! I m keeping into the 82 - 83 more military green agents myself, only 2 more, nunchuk and shooter.
[classified] shooter s rifle is a tank killer, for armour weaknesses and against light armour, saw that in a WW2 docu, hey thanks bro!
Beyonder (white suit)
Pinless Captain America
Pinless symbiote spidey
Ironlad (or another Kang variant)
Enchantress pinless
The Spot pinless
12" armored beyonder
Wrecking crew box set
Kang w Time Throne
Delixe Absorbing Man
I think pinless cap is going to be in the wave. I can feel it.
I’m with Jordan. There’s the unmistakable scent of freshly repainted figures in the air.
Meanwhile, Dakota has solved the mystery of why Hasbro randomly put holes in the classic colors Captain America shield . Hasbro: “We would have gotten away with it too if it wasn’t for those darn Strong Collectors!”
In addition to Hasbro’s tried and true strategy of “We’ll gladly sell you the same Hamburger next Tuesday except this time we won’t forget (wink, wink) the pickles.”, this would be a great opportunity to slot two fan demanded characters into the line: Classic versions of Falcon and She-Hulk. I would love to see the Wrecking Crew and Titania, but I think a lot of that is going to depend on how many waves are planned.
maybe the wrecking is 2 seprate 2 packs and then Titania and Absorbing man are another.
Lol we can see right though Hasbro's tricks.
True that would be cool. I feel like the chances are pretty good for that.
Below are all characters appearing in Secret Wars ‘84
Heroes
Johnny Storm-Doubtful, OG 4 don’t typically get released separately,
Thing-SEE ABOVE
Mr.Fantastic-SEE ABOVE
She-Hulk-Possible/Likely, (Would like to say “Definitely” but I will explain at the end) 1st appeared as F4 team member in Secret Wars #12, popular, would sell quick, notes on REU$E at the end. Last classic comic release in 2017 modern comic release in 2021.
Hulk-Possible, Released 80s style in 2022, could go different head sculpt and a more lime green, REU$E.
Iron-Man-Possible, could have James Rhodes head accessory, update to pinless, REU$E from 2019 80th and 2021 A.I. mold.
Captain America-Possible/Likely, could come with portless shield
Spider-Man-Definitely, Symbiote Suit
Hawkeye-Possible/Unlikely, REU$E from recent Earths Mightiest wave, long sleeve version is more accurate to West Coast Avengers iteration consistency seeing recent WCA 5-Pack release, never released a classic 80’s longsleeve iteration.
Thor-Possible, REU$E from recent Earths Mightiest, brighter paint apps, classic beardless head sculpt.
Captain Marvel-No, just released in 2-Pack, not an army builder or main character in Secret Wars ‘84
Wasp-Doubtful, suit in Secret Wars isn’t popular BUT a candidate for REU$E from revealed classic Wasp
Colossus-Possible/?Unlikely? Popular would sell also candidate for REU$E from 2019 2-pack. Might hear back lash for lack of pinless.
Cyclops-Possible/Likely; Highly coveted, would sell quickly, plenty of molds available for REU$E
Professor Xavier-Possible, niche outfit, cult following,g REU$E
Wolverine-Definitely; Anniversary year, updated pinless brown suit, REU$E would sell.
Spider-Woman-Possible, just released in West Coast 5 pack so 1:1 REU$E, 1st appearance in Secret Wars #7
Zsaji-No, not popular enough to sell BUT Marvel Legends can throw curve balls. Not sure about reuse
Villains
Kang-Possible, released a great version in 2020, REU$E, also was featured in the original series.
Molecule Man-Possible/Unlikely, released in 2023.
Absorbing Man-Definitely, (if I’m gauging it right) he seems like a popular figure that hasn’t had a release since 2008.
Piledriver-Possible/Unlikely, should be in 4 pack, last released 2012
Thunderball- SEE ABOVE
Wrecker-SEE ABOVE, last release 2013
Bulldozer-SEE ABOVE, never received a classic 80s version
Ultron-No, recently released 2023
The Lizard-Possible, unlikely recently released 2022 but popular and REU$E
Enchantress-Possible/Likely, last released 2017 popular character, REU$E needs an update.
Dr.DOOM-Possible, in spite of his 2023 release considering he was a main character in the story i can’t confidently say no, could be used for an DOOM bot army builder if sold separately unlike the captain marvel 2-pack, part of the original toy series
Galactus-No, I bleeping doubt it unless this all is really for a haslab and they want to go with the tried and true.
Titania-Definitely, seems popular, first appeared in Secret Wars #3, REU$E? (Will elaborate at end)
Volcana-Possible/Likely, never before released, first appeared in Secret Wars #3, REU$E? (Will elaborate at end)
Klaw-Possible/Unlikely, last released 2018 in 2 pack, not sure how popular.
I also think we’ll get classic New Mutants that year as well.
that was some intense research/knowledge and could be an episode all on its own.
@@thestrongcollectors if you guys do the episode I’ll watch for sure lol
They were shields with lenticular pictures. They were super unique to the secret wars line, without them I don’t see the point of remaking them.
I don't really have any use for them other than to make me feel happy to see them in the packaging.
A wave of figures that we already have multiples of… yea.. they can keep that
That's what we're saying, it'll be one for the in box collectors.
Congratulations 🎉
Thank you
Is the wave gonna be:
A) An homage to the Mattel toy line, of which several of the characters were not in the maxi-series
B) Faithful to the maxi-series
C) A blend of both
However it plays out, this is the perfect opportunity to finish the original series roster with Titania and Volcana, plus adding in Beyonder in his Secret Wars II human guise.
I don't understand how we've never had a comic Titania
Hasbro loves to make sure there's always a few holes we stick around to fill.
I hope they come with their lenticular shields.
That would be really cool
Thanks for the video on this topic guys. If I were to take inspiration from the comic book series, I would pick Wolvie in his brown suit, Spidey in his black suit, Cyclops in his blues, Beyonder, Absorbing Man and Titania. The Wrecking Crew should be 2 X 2-packs.
That sounds like a very possible wave. a good mix of what we have and what we need.
@@thestrongcollectors good luck with the move.
Iron man classic with a James Rhodes head.
I think a lot of people are wanting that. I wonder if Hasbro will do it.
Spot on guys…. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
💪💪
We need Titania, She-Hulk, Night Crawler,The wrecking Crew, retro Klaw, and retro Colossus, and the Beyonder. They already made Dr Doom, Photon, and Molecule Man. The rest we need or hopefully get redos. Except Galactus.
I would love a new Colossus
80s cyclops and titania 🙏🙏🙏
There's been a lot of people wanting to get a Titania and Jordan has been wanting a new 80s cyclops.
My boyz lets goooo
The goal is twice per week. Keep coming back and we'll keep showing up.
@@thestrongcollectors I’ll be there
I'd really prefer if they'd stick to characters that were part of the story for the Secret Wars line whereas Iceman, Daredevil, Zemo, Constrictor, Hobgoblin, Falcon and Electro had nothing to do with the story.
I'm guessing it'll be like the 20th wave was. costs a little more because of the nostalgia tax and pay homage to the old but still fitting in with the new.
cool specs team
I read some comics in 70 - 90, it happens that I read secret wars, liked it
I already have my fav versions of ; Hulk, Cap Am, iron man, Colossus, and Ultron,
I m hot for ; Dr doom, og Nick Fury, and silver surfer
I m warm for maybe Titania, and Enchantress, but I d prefer more skin, remove the leggings.
I buy by nostalgia, but a lot for the looks too, and sexy girls? yeah, why not
also, og Kingpin, Goblin, Mysterio, Hydra, aim, shields troops
oh, I m suggesting 'battle stations' and battle gear packs for gi Joe at Hasbro,
they officially replied that they consider it
so little dios as in the 80s, some mix great with heroes or villains
and.. ram cycles and 4x4 ferrets, claw drones, snake armours...
jet packs for joes to support iron man s attack
I mix 3 lines, joes, legends, indy, few, but compatible characters
I totally see punisher, nick fury, Cap Am, indy on the ram cycle, lol
the watch tower, 'dropped' by juggernaut, or lifted by colossus
I think this is the shot of freshness 6' lines need right now
and joes could only be a start, as it catches on
so now you know...
good show bros
I love the idea of battle stations and battle gear packs for Legends too. Not that it makes sense but that just seems so 90s to have classics heroes come with giant sets of armor.
@@thestrongcollectors for legends, I see those working very well ; 'air defence' 2 missiles station, L.A.W. laser artillery weapon, basically, a laser cannon station, machine gun defence, 2 anti tank crosses included, and ammo dump depot, the others are ok, but maybe not as relevant, except perhaps the 'check point Alpha' which is a security gate, at fig price point.. it s quite nice to have. thanks bro
I dont know if i want any secret warz figures especially if they are more spiderman or iron man stuff that i really dont collect . Maybe the wrecking crew or absorbing man might be interesting but nothing i have to have .
I haven't read the story yet but is the Wrecking Crew that big of a deal in the story? it seems like everyone is saying them for this wave.
@@thestrongcollectors i vaguely remember reading the story so im not really sure how important they were ,with stories like that it seemz most of the characterz are not really highlighted they are just in the background .
Definitely more interested in Villains. I am pretty close to saturation on Heroes on all 3 of my Marvel Earth's. I am more in need of Villains! And I have 3 Klaw, 3 Ultron, 3 Kang, 3 Doc Ock, and 3 Dr. Doom. Doom, I could still use as a Doombot depending on Sculpt.
Jordan would go broke buying Doombots if hasbro made them.
I'm going broke buying Army Builders; Titan Sentinels, Cobra, Tracksuit Mafia, Cogs from Power Rangers, Warhammer Armored Figures for Kang Army, Star Wars Black human men for Kingpin Organization, Black Series Aliens and Stormtroopers for Thanos Army. I need some kind of Robot to give Darkseid an Army as, 29 years and 9 months Collector, I have 1 Parademon! Oh, yes, He-Man and TMNT Animal types for High Evolutionary, Dinosaurs for my Savage Land!
Classic comic Falcon and the Wrecking Crew
I would like to finally see a classic falcon. I wonder if they would do that so close to the new Falcon Cap coming out but it would makes sense.
They were inserts for their lenticular shields.
What are the chances we see Hasbro do them?
@@thestrongcollectors Very low as Hasbro feel like they can get away w/ as few accessories & no BAf parts as long as they are on retro cards.
They need to do that proper comic bright red Daredevil 🤘🤘
I'm waiting for a new DD. didn't want the 3 pack... probably should have gotten it now to sell him off, but a single pack has to be coming some time.
@thestrongcollectors yeah- i got the DD from that set. Still not the red im lookin for lol. That red from the original toybiz DD- is what im talkn about. Thats what we need in my opinion.
I could see that coming or him showing up in a Spiderman TAS 2 pack and being cel shaded.
Toybiz didn't do the secret war line it was mattle
hmm good catch. The Marvel logo on the bottom looked like the ToyBiz logo. My bad.
Mattel did the original line yes, but I think The Strong lads were also referring to the 8 pack Secret Wars boxed set Toy Biz released in the 90's.
nice save @laohu1888 but no we were just wrong. I saw the ToyBiz on the box set and assumed it was all made by ToyBiz. but thanks for coming to our defense.
I'm hoping we get a pinless more comic accurate kang the conqueror. His last comic one was great but can be improved, and that awful MCU one left a sour taste. Sadly with the controversy of John Majors, I don't think we'll be seeing kang for a bit
Would there be any different deco for him or just the update to pinless?
@@thestrongcollectors yes he'd be in a slightly different outfit. Kang wore a purple cape and his body was a bit different, more muscular. I'd say put him on a different body because his old figure isn't cape friendly due to all the sculpted wrinkles and rised shoulders
Galactus “Cat” BAF!!!
That would a baf to behold
Marvel legends is doing a two pack with constrictor and crossbones I red some where and seen on one of the videos ..so that's probably for the secret wars but I don't know y crossbones ..but they did a Kang and hobgoblin and they were not in the story ..so who knows ...
BUT DEFINITELY NEED A BEYONDER !!! A ELECTRO!!! AND ABSORBING MANS CHICK ..WOULD BE GOOD IF ITS 3 AND 3 AND they should do good guys we haven't got recently..no cap, no spidy, no wolverine, its like the movies no more same couple bad guys they use in batman! Or Spiderman.. like both guys got tons of great villains...I get that they do it to make money .. but we can't get clayface .. Solomon Grundy or Deathstroke in a Batman throw in black mask ..or with Spiderman..we can't get scorpion and rhino ..or the whole sinister six !! Or like morbious, blade , venom throw in kraven.. lol man's can only dream ..
I mean they've done all those marvel figures you mentioned at least twice if not way more in the case of venom. We'll always see the staples and I can see the frustration with DC although everyone you mentioned other than Black Mask has been done 1-3 times too.
RYV Symbiote Spidey, Beyonder, She-Hulk, Titania, just the same Doom from the two pack in flatter colors, and maybe brotherhood look Rogue are my guesses
Maybe deep v Falcon instead of Rogue.
If it's Amazing Fantasy body Symbiote Spidey I will buy two. One to rock one to stock.
Really? you would pick AF body over RYV? I haven't heard anyone else say that but now that you have I think that's my new hope.
@@thestrongcollectors I think I just prefer Pete to be on the smaller side. The proportions also lend themselves to an 80's Spidey look.
You both know with hasbro being strapped for money, the quick and guaranteed sellers
Two Spider-Man’s
Captain America
Ironman
Hulk
Wolverine
Storm
And maybe the new one’s will
Beyonder
She hulk to still push her into the public’s eye.
Now if they can be a super cool set
The wrecking crew in a four pack box set with an over inflated price at $120 for four figures. That may even be on the conservative side, I know I said inflated but I can see hasbro going $35 each saying “ these are considered deluxe figures “ and heading for $140 and people will pay this for them no questions asked.
I feel like that price tag makes me think they would hide it by splitting it up into 2 seprate 2 packs to not scare people off with triple digits.
Ben Grim, FF She Hulk, professor x in his yellow and black uniform,
I think people would want almost all those, although Thing would need something new. Maybe butterfly joints?
Those sound like some fun picks. We've been talking about a new She Hulk for awhile now.
I hope they will drop an S. There was a great Secret War_ Story by Bendis. Those Figures would be great. But I'm afraid it will be Secret WarS. So more crap from the 80s.
Crap from the 80s pulls on the nerds nostalgia. There's no way they stop any time soon.
@@thestrongcollectors Yeah, sadly this might be true. People tend to forget how bad and intellectual underwhelming those stories by Lee, Miller etc. were (as they were aimed for kids) and how bad the art by Ditko, Kirby etc. was (because a) it was also just for kids and) printing technology wasn't well developed esp. if you had to realize cheap prizes, because of your target group.). But one should think, that real comic fans should have grasped, that their comics got better since the end of the 90s and prefer those depictions of the charakters.
yeah I can't really read much before the 2000 maybe some of the 90s but the older it gets the more I just can't read them.
Your speculations are always annoying
so are your comments but thanks for the view.
