Our value should not be based solely on what job we have, but on the truth of who we are.
We are about to take you on a trip through Detroit. A city that was once the richest city in the world, and known as a powerhouse of industry is now most famous for its demise into structural ruin.
Looking at Detroit is an insight to our overall well-being as humanity. A reflection of our inner state. Above all, it shows us how we've been led astray. Instead of believing in ourselves, we place all of our beliefs into the structures that don't serve us.
Structures that are put in place to extract every resource available, and by doing so, extracting our very own souls.
Now Detroit has welcomed the newest industry. An industry that picks up right where the old one left off. Proving that we are seeking answers within the same structures that will inevitably lead us to the same results.
Our value is derived entirely by a system that only seeks to destroy. It uses every ounce of energy we have, until we have nothing left. Then we are left behind to rot amongst the trail of destruction.
Today, we continue to believe in the same system. Placing our entire trust in it as if it's the only available answer. Adding to the mistakes of the past.
If you look closely you will see. Amongst the rubble shines a light. That light is the true essence of who we are.
If we can find the strength to follow it, it will lead us back to ourselves where inner peace awaits. When we reach it we will begin to expand into a new way of being.
