    Please be very careful I only say this because where I live if DCYF were to find out that you were living in a tent whether it was consciously or not whether you had the means to go into a house or not they would take custody of your kids cuz it would be considered an unsafe environment I'm only telling you this because I don't want to see you lose your 2-year-old because the state doesn't want to recognize that you do have a loving caring family. Best regards and I hope everything works out

    I did it. Sold my house and everything but my little truck and tractor. But I do own 5.5 acres of land beside a creek. It has no house on it though. But I’m staying in a tent on my land while I work on getting my little farm going. But I seem to enjoy the simplicity of staying in a tent that I’m in no hurry to get a cabin built on my land. I just ordered a bigger tent 😂

    I comend you for being soo brave and doing something you whole heartedly believe in I worry about you putting this on social media for all the weirdos and crackpots to see and follow you- its dangerous. Please stay vigilant and careful. Good luck.

    Gee setting up and packing up a tent with a toddler in tow is gunna. Get old real quick. I give you 6 months tops and youll be regretting it. Ig time. Why didnt you get a motor home? You had the money to buy one as you sold your home. No way youll last long in a tent- its tooo hard and dangerous and im not talking just about animals; the 2 legged animal is worse. Best of luck, stay safe and healthy, be very careful.

    The only way I could do this would be to purchase 2 acres and live in the middle of it because it can get very expensive living at a campsite. The cheapest near me is $18.00 a night, which isn't too bad, but you have to move every 14 days, which is bad. Wishing you guys the best!

    I'm about to be doing this myself as the house hold makes to much for my sister to keep her insurance. She's diabetic so she has to have it. I will be moving this weekend sold all my things this week.

    Ive been thinking on this for quite some time. My bigger kids wouldnt have it BUT I am ready to walk away from the burden that is the system in which we have been living. A system that seems to no longer work for us. The last few years we have watched as things get more and more expensive. We have less and less. Our finances no longer provide any protections. We barely get by and more often than not, we are needing to reach out to family or friends for help. My wife and I have not been able to afford a single night out or opportunity to gift one another or spoil ourselves for an hour. We no longer eat out. No movies. No dates. Hell, I cant even remember the last time we spent a dollar on anything other than essentials. Somehow, we have nothing to show for all the cutting back. 2023 has been a particularly tough year. I am a disabled Veteran. Living off a fixed income earned during my service. My injuries left me unable to work. Our government appears to be intentionally working towards driving the middle class into poverty. So much so that the slogan "You will own nothing and you will be happy" appears to be what they are forcing on all of us. It is pretty clear this system and government is badly broken. THEY no longer honor the constitution nor do they work for the voters. Instead, they are beholden to the corporations and nations that line their pockets. I am done with it. Disgusted and angry. I have always been one to enjoy nature. Spent many nights out in the wilderness, camping and fishing. However, this was alone. While my wife and I have spoken on it several times, Im pretty sure I was a bit more serious than she may have been. When I look at all we pay out, to things we will never own, it breaks my heart. We are extremely conservative but somehow save nothing. I know IF we committed to it, I could make it work for us. Perhaps, some planning ahead and preparations to insure it would not be a miserable experience. Once we settle into a decent location, I am confident we could make this work in a way that would be liberating.

    Someone was responsible for the closures of these factories, Margaret Thatcher destroyed the ship building and coal mining industries, she gutted the UK. The rich don't care who's lives they destroy, the economy is destroyed on purpose, part of their master plan towards one world government, 15 min smart cities, don't worry, the World Economic Forum will "build back better". Just why are you choosing to be homeless in such a flimsy structure? Don’t get me wrong, I’m a frequent tent camper, but the thought of living in a tent FT is silly. Most folks living a nomad style at least opt for a van or tear drop trailer that gives a bit more protection from the elements.

    when i use to live in a tent to save money people called me crazy and delusional, you know whats delusional paying $700 per week for a studio apartment. paying 28% tax on your yearly earnings on the money you worked hard for to just give it away to a slimy government i don't work for the man i work for myself

    Isn't it Ironic that a very liberal couple, Democrat voters who can't fathom destroying a forest, or pipe lines that run through private property, private lakes, or federal land..... End up burning wood to stay warm , in a place that deems wood burning toxic to the planet 🌏 lol. At the same time you guys learned to live independently without the need for expensive crap. Good for you.

  • @timsolomon8352
    @timsolomon8352 Рік тому

    Well um , private companies own that land dumb dumb. Or they get permission from land owners, or the state to run the pipe lines. Those pipe lines help fuel ⛽️ all of the tools you are using to live the lifestyle you chose 😉. Now what you should do is take advantage of Capitolism and buy some land with the money you got from selling your house and then, it's yours to do whatever you to do with it. You're welcome.
