maybe you can put the tube inside of the pen in a bucket with hot water and bit and it might help evenly staining them or you can buy a dye from the store

yeahhh my second option would’ve been to buy dye (but this option was free bc i already had the marker so i thought id try it first)

I'd recommend clothing dye, just dip the whole thing in and you could do ombre that way too
