Ur a legend thanks for appreciating the Arab & Muslim culture! Shawarma is a great Syrian food. Try MR shawarma restaurant in greenacre it’s really good. Just subscribed I’m keen to see more videos !
Thank you brother! Sydney isn't the same without it's Middle Eastern population, particularly south west Sydney. Much love to the people, food and culture we have here. I'm grateful to help and showcase it! Will definitely give it a try some time 🙂
Love the enthusiasm at the kabab shope....there ve cd alot of hungery ppl...$9.00 lamb bargin compared to where i worked...looks better to ...😋 Camel burger ,ill take your word its good ... this was a insightful ,keep up the awesome vlogs .
Far out the amount of food you can knock back. The chicken skewers with satay from the Island dreams cafe - the whole dish looks great but I am still hanging out for that Lebanese pizza you did a video of months back
@@SydneyFoodBoy so many good options out there, Malaysian food is going through a bit of a boom in Sydney at the moment I think. MFLS feels like FBAS and HSPAS did in the early days. If you really wanted to put the 'lemak' into it you could do a few in one day, Parklea Markets isn't too far from Camelia ;)
@@SydneyFoodBoy yep amazing hey. I think another unique aspect to the Malaysian food scene here is the vibrant homecooked meal economy. I don't know if/how it'd be possible to do it justice in a video given the irregularity of most vendors, and it probably depends on staying somewhat 'underground', but it's v interesting nonetheless and might surprise viewers to learn that it exists. Food for thought - pardon the pun.
Ramazan is what I say the Turkish way! Muslims People fast for 4 weeks from sunrise to sunset . Then they break their fast . In turkey people invite you for dinner to their houses , in Sydney too , Turkish families do that
@@SydneyFoodBoy hi how are you? how's sydney after lock down? currently i live in jakarta. hopefully i can go back there. by the way, don't forget to subscribe my youtube channel. 😁😁
You’re doing a great thing for Sydney bro!
Appreciate you brother!
I don’t like Lakemba’s camel burger.
That's shawarma wrap at the start👌🤤
She's a beauty. Loved that bread too, it was a bit different!
Had the camel burger this past Ramadan and it was delicious! Great video!
I need to go to LAKEMBA ..And try those foods..DELISIOSO!🤤
Hey bro love your content! From western Sydney myself so it helps with your recommendations Subbed 🥳
Ay thanks heaps my bro 😍
Bruv, I'm watching this after resisting to have a camel burger all of Ramadan and I'm definitely regretting it now haha. Hope you enjoyed it man.
Great video! Check this out when there's no restrictions! Looking forward to your future videos. New subscriber 🎞
Thanks so much for subscribing Mo!
Yo it's ramadan at the moment. I'm thinking of hitting up Lakemba for some food crawl :D
I only learnt about this after a friend went (where's my invite?!) - will definitely check it out next year!
Looks amazing! Was thinking of going there too. What day of the week did you guys go? I heard waiting times were quite long, understandably though.
I didn't realise the upload date, I thought it was this month. 😅
Loving your videos about Sydney's food man, please write it down the price on the video, it would really helpful for us who planning to SYD. Thx !!
Thank you for watching Don :) Prices are fluctuating like crazy right now due to inflation!

Camels nice and juicy! The best camel burgers Ive had were cooked on charcoal, changes the flavour up with some smokiness

I've been keeping track on MFLS 😜 I couldn't believe it when someone said you could find bak chor mee in Sydney. I thought no way.

JUICY SHARWAMA AYEEEEE , JUICY LIKE BIG KASH STORYS ? HAHAHHAHA
It's not me 😭😭 LOL
tebrikler
Was there one this year when there were restrictions in movements and gatherings.
Wasn't really a street festival like usual, but shops still opened with extra food at night for Ramadan
Delicious
I love nasi lemak.
Some camel burgers were bad this year
The best ones I had this year were outside Suhhtan Bakery in Regents park. They were cooked over charcoal!
what's the shawarma place called pls?
They're not doing anymore since Ramadan is over I believe! But someone correct me if I'm wrong
does the milk drink have a name?
Sahlab!

When do they open and close? I wanna go 🤩
Unfortunately Ramadan has just finished! You would still be able to dine at Island Dreams Cafe though, since they're an actual restaurant!
Let me know which food you want to try in particular Anna, and I'll try to point you in the right direction of a restaurant that does it 🙂
