So glad you were able to make it over the the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture (my former volunteer spot). This museum is incredible! I hope you were also able to stroll thru the Korean War Memorial (so moving) not far from the World War II museum on the National Mall. So much to see it takes many days to take it in. Hope you were able to grab a bit to eat at the Sweet Home Cafe" inside the African American Museum...it's a vibe to eat there with so many from all over the world enjoying Southern themed foods. Enjoy your visit in DC!!!! So much to see and do in DC all the time!
