Nice, crisp sound. Splendid musicianship. Your voice is amazing. I used to play Stardust as a waltz. Now I always hear it that way in my head! Try it. It's fun.
Rich pure sounds,so reminiscent of Django Reinhardt group, Lia;s young but so polished not afraid to take chances into unknown territory & always finds her way back to main stream sound.Amazing vocalist!
Beautifully Sung. In my Humble Opinion, the Guitarist is Way Too Busy in the Intro and a bit so in the verse. Detracts from the Magnificent Vocalist . Bass and Rhythm Guitar are Perfect ☮️
ABOUT JAZZ AND NOT ONLY… There's a lot of destruction in jazz - it's hard. Soft jazz, what has passed through the European psyche, is more or less acceptable, but true, Negro… How easy it is, hiding behind incomprehensibility, to grind nonsense about the creative disclosure of personality through jazz improvisation. How honey can a saxophone sing, in jazz - it grunts, a beautiful trumpet playing - in jazz the trumpet screams, the heart of the ensemble is percussion: in jazz there is a deliberate lack of rhythm, but a crash on cymbals, and a Negro wheezes something into the microphone. Jazz pianists are outraged by the statement that, allegedly, good performing technique is not needed in jazz, but it is not so necessary, oh how necessary… But, really, deliberate clanking on the keys: try to figure out whether the technique is good or not. - There are not so many people in Moscow, even very few, who want to assert themselves intellectually and spiritually by any means. It is almost impossible to do this in the foreseeable future without resorting to walking for "just human". Jazz with its destructive beginning, the cinematographer Tarkovsky, is quite suitable for this, after viewing the paintings (an artistic sermon of despondency and hopelessness) which, people have inanimate faces, as if they had been in a crypt, Paul Gauguin with a "flat" painting - there are no numbers for them! Simply put, to announce to the public, and to yourself, that you are unusual. And then it's a matter of technique: regularly visit Picasso's daub, Pirosmani, a talented, but frankly crazy Bergman, will do... and where is Edvard Munch lying around... and it's there in this fetid, but so unusual (not like everyone else!) the sewer. All this is relished for a long time in "intellectual" companies and is akin to how Baron Munghausen pulled himself out of the swamp by his hair. It's not enough to think of yourself as an elite, despising the crowd - you have to actually confirm your Specialness in a substantive way! And finally, Adolf Hitler: "Jazz is the degenerate music of American Negroes."
