Omg how in the world did you do that? You make it look so easy …. I worked on a little rose it took me an hour to complete. I can only imagine the time you have put in the face alone. You are such a great artist.
I think you are seeing the video editing at work. There was a bit of a struggle to get it right. Lots of staring at the glass and trying to find the right tones that didn't make the video.
wow! I love your Moses! Interesting how you are using silicone and tape, curious how that holds up with thinset? What kind of tapes are you using, how sticky are they? this is such an exciting project, do you have a deadline? BTW, you are a master of this art, you amaze me on how easy you make this look, but like you said in one of the comments, it does take a lot of thought and study that we can't see in the vid, all those wheels turning inside your head...LOL. GREAT JOB!❤❤❤
I have not used silicone on mesh with thinset before, so I researched with other artists before I started. Because the fountain is round I reallly needed something flexible rather than thinset, which is what I have used in the past. The face tape is from a mosaic supplier and made to hold the pieces. The other was just shelf paper, which is not very sticky at all. I do not have a deadline, but I do need to be making good progress each week if I want to finish in a timely manner. I'm a bit worried that I will finish these in the winter and have to wait to install. The church has been very good to work with, but they'd like to see it finished sooner rather than later.
@@mazzonimosaics8222 Its great that you don't have a deadline. Do they have to be installed all at the same time, or can you install the 1st when when it is complete and not wait for the other 2? I'm not a mesh expert, so very interested in learning more, I believe some people use a PVA glue, just a little, enough to hold the piece. and not interfere with the thinset. I am trying to get more info from Bachor, the pothole guy, he uses a mesh and I believe PVA glue, but of course, not easy to get all the details from him, and his are flat outdoor potholes, not curved surface. Thank you for sharing the process!!!❤❤❤😻😺😊
What an awesome start to a beautiful project. ❤ As always, thank you for sharing. See you next time! 🌺
Thank you! Cheers!
I love watching your pieces come together !
Thank you so much! Me too!
I have never felt brave enough to do a human face mosaic, you made it look so easy, maybe I need to try it! Beautiful!
Simplifying that face was a struggle! I spent a long time staring at it before any glass was cut.
Thanks for sharing you talent with us ❤I really enjoy watching your video and learn from it
You are very welcome!

Thank you. It was slow going this week. I'll have to pick up the pace if I want to finish any time soon!
I tried a human face once. Ended up throwing it out. It’s so hard. 😂 I’ll stick with dogs. Beautiful work. Thank you.

They want each one installed separately. But it might be easier to drain the fountain once rather than three times.
You are just amazing! That’s all.
You are too kind!
You are amazing.❤️❤️
