Hey, I'll vouch for the stupidity of Hungary! I'm American. I'm retired. I moved to Hungary in 2013 and purchased a house near Budapest. All I do is bring retirement income into the country and spend it on goods and services. I'm medically self-insured. I create zero problem for Hungary. Yet, I've just been told they will not renew my residence permit when it expires next month. The rules have ''changed'' and I no longer have any ''purpose'' here. I will only be able to visit my house three months at a time. Of course, I will just sell out and move to another country taking my foreign income with me, removing bank investment funds etc. I'm not alone, other legal immigrants facing this as well. WTF eh? Australia has changed so much in the last 50 years. Sydney has become little China and many outer suburb's are either Asian or Arab majority people. Not exactly sure about describing Sydney as “little China”. The problem here is that most illegal immigrants cannot live here without government aid, free hospital care and free housing. So, why are they considered a help taking lower wages? We have too many illegal, we should not have any of those. We even have too many asylum and refugee immigrants, because well over 90% of them lied about the reasons to come to the US, with most of them really coming only for economic reasons.
On the other hand we have problems of too low birth rates and a horrible education system, both of which are deadly for the economy. I will only be able to visit my house three months at a time. Australia has changed so much in the last 50 years. Sydney has become little China and many outer suburb's are either Asian or Arab majority people. Too many are not respecting our laws and their own people are at risk because .especially the women, are forced to live by their country's laws and not Australian laws. As we have a high homelessness problem we have to limit immigration as there is no housing for new citizens, let alone those already here.
Not exactly sure about describing Sydney as “little China”. All the major cities have little pockets of foreign residents, Italian ( Leichhardt in Sydney) ( Carlton in Melbourne), Greek(Oakleigh in Melbourne) all well integrated and accepted examples who have brought their culture, and especially their cuisine to name a few, which makes Australia an interesting , multicultural country.
Problems arise when migrants are either illegal or overstayers and also when these people try to impose their religious views on their new country.
The country should be swift to deport migrants who commit serious crime regardless of their having been granted citizenship.

I'm hispanic and unfortunately, most of the illegals coming here are other latinos too and the problem ia that most are mexican and central American and they have A LOT of kids. Venezuelans are coming here too and crime is rising. Schools are crowded, sidewalks are crowded, public transportation is crowded and everything has gotten more expensive than what it was. The problem here is that most illegal immigrants cannot live here without government aid, free hospital care and free housing. So, why are they considered a help taking lower wages?
