learn to solder [on protoboard]

In this video we learn how to solder by making a two LED flasher circuit on a protoboard or dot matrix board. NOTE: Where parts are normally placed on the opposite side to where soldering takes place, in this video we soldered on the same side as the parts in order to create an effective video where you can see things clearly. that's correct. if one uses only simple parts then one can put the parts and the solder on the same side, thereby preventing the students from constantly flipping the board over which is where errors creep in when they build the circuits. obviously this would not work with parts like ICs and relays where the legs are too short and so one would have to have the parts on one side of the board and solder on the other [copper track] side
