Just got to do NatEx now G 😜 another brilliant video from you as always and this brings back memories of the days when I used to do the overnight Megabus journeys between Glasgow and London 🙂
Fantastic vlog as always and Flixbus have applied for a Psv licence to be based at the local bus operators base here & loved the sound track to the vlog as well as the little dance that you & lucy did
Loved seeing a very happy and positive review on Megabus. As and ex coachie I use National Express often and prefer it to the train. Not been on Megabus for about 10 year but didn't have any complaints about it, apart from the toilet like yourself but anti bac is definitely a must on any public transport. Glad your buddy provided info about the bus and indeed they were correct 👍 Hopefully gonna try Megabus once again sometime and try out Flixbus too but as for National I got my honest review on my page
A nice change of scenery G and Luce, really entertaining and informative, I'd hate to see the house of the person who we'd on the toilet paper (not), hope you had a good time in Sunderland. Both of you, stay safe. Looking forward to the next one
It's a nice little ride between Manchester and Leeds on the M62. Travelled between them many times in the car with family. Even though I'm more of a train person, it's always good to throw in a road trip now and again too!
You and Lucy are such an adorable couple 😊 My brother used to drive for Megabus (based at Rugby), he often said he loved the job but hated the passengers. After your toilet experience I can see why
In the early 80s in Oklahoma - we had Greyhound and Trailways busses - aka coaches. That was east to west travel or to Dallas. Both lines did not serve some of the same towns. On Friday afternoons I took Greyhound to Tulsa and back to Oklahoma City on Sunday night for work. I slept all the way - never any crazies on the bus. Made one mistake in booking a trip to Tulsa - we diverted 50 miles away to a place called Three Corners. It wasn’t on a map. A gas station/diner for bus passenger interchange between bus lines - up to Kansas. Got me to Tulsa an hour late for work that night.
Another great travelogue. Have you been on the Yorkshire Coastliner Leeds/York Whitby bus yet? One of the most spectacularly scenic bus journeys in the UK. :)
My great-uncle used to get very travel sick until he got travel-sickness wristbands. You just put them on your wrists and press a button which presses on a pressure point or something which stops you feeling sick, all drug free. He doesn't get sick at all with the wristbands. He forgot them once and was very sick so it shows just how much they work. I'd definitely recommend them.
Great you enjoyed the trip. I love the extra legroom on some of the Megabus seats but I prefer National Express as the seats are comfier. I love the route up to the North East as the A19 is very picturesque. I was at Uni in Middlesbrough so a route I took many times from Manchester and still do when I visit the North East.
Thanks for the video G,and Lucy, the coaches look stunning inside and in great condition. Being down south never heard of them. I'd get chucked off because I snore Loudly!! 😂😎🚍🚍🚍🚍🇬🇧💙
Ive never been good at coach journeys much prefer trains or driving myself, but looked like you had a very relaxing trip if u fell asleep just a bit haha great Vblog as ever G thank you fantastic tune too I won't let you down 👍😊🎶
Great vlog G. I’ve never travelled with MegaBus but my brother has. I still don’t see myself travelling by coach as I get travel sick and I prefer the train lol. I enjoyed watching as always!
I traveled twice (once really) with megabus many moons ago....First time it was a no show and I was stranded in Cardiff late evening (luckily I was able to get a hotel at short notice) and the 2nd time I was forced to use them, no trains (day later) it was fine, comfy and a reasonable journey time,,,wishing you well.
I've used Megabus a few times over the years. I would recommend in summer to do Manchester to Glasgow, although it doesn't stop at any services so plenty supplies are needed
They provide a decent service, however one time I took them out of Norwich they were almost 2 hours delayed and it wasn't communicated in any way, the departure boards showed on time and just cleared once the the scheduled time passed
Nice to see the Megabus from passenger perspective 🤣 usually I’m sat in the drivers seat 🤣🤣. Great video! I usually do that service from Leeds to Newcastle! Just not the day you caught!
An entertaining vlog as always! At one point you almost filmed Stott Hall Farm in the middle of the M62. The myth is the stubborn farmer refused to sell his land so they had to build the route on either side of his house, but it was actually more practical to split the motorway at that point because of the risk of a landslip. I've done a very short video about it on my channel!😊
Always remember the megabus that dropped all its sump oil at Meadowhall interchange , the driver was asking passengers for cash to buy oil , they were well and truly stranded
I’ve long wanted to get a front seat on a long coach journey. Although with what I’ve heard about Megabus, it’s probably the only good thing about them
Rather you than me, G. I've done the Megabus 'redeye' overnight from London to Glasgow (10 hours) and I'd confidently say that I'd rather walk both ways. On snapped ankles...
Yep, I'm admitting to being a Megabus fan - I've travelled from Inverness to Edinburgh on those a few times. If you get the front seat on that service, the view as you near Edinburgh and head over the Bridge is stunning. Shame you two didn't get nicer weather on this trip, though. And as for the Neanderthal who did that to the loo roll... Words fail me! Must be related to the cave-dweller who jammed a full toilet roll in the bog on one of my return trips to Inverness.
@@walterfillingham True enough! Even my local line, Inverness to Aberdeen, can be hit and miss. Nothing worse than a two-car 158 turning up jammed to the rafters...
Coaches always remind me of school trips 😄 Well I guess everything is relaxing except the toilet Do you get delay repay on the megabus or is that not a thing
If you do suffer from travel sickness, take some freezer ziplock bags with you, I used to be a Sunday School teacher and would take some to hand out as soon as one child was sick it would set the others off, not nice on a hot summers day.
Bus, coach, what is the difference? Guessing a coach can also be a bus but some buses can't be a coach. Doubt a proper double decker bus isn't a coach.

The M62 is always a pig of a motorway. I live near Boro - its such a dump - personally I'd rather be pee shamed by the light at the front of the bus letting fellow passengers know I was going than use a public loo in Boro where its basically still 1983. Sunnerlan ( correct local pronunciation ) is a nicer place
Great video G did really look like a relaxing journey
Was indeed thanks Cyber!
Coach travel is best for me
Great video! Always loved your videos 😊❤
Thanks!
Nice vudeo! - congrats BTW on your pic in RailWatch magazine (re your Headbolt Lane video)
Brilliant review of Megabus & i like the views outside the front windows brilliant vlog as always
Thanks!

Thanks E-Wan! Natex is that whats it called these days 😂
@@GLovesTrains A lot of folk call it National Express still but myself and many others just call NatEx! 😂

Nice! The toilet paper didn't hinder the experience 😂
Great film G. Forgot to say last time, love your 7th Dr Sylvester Mccoy umbrella. My eldest son had one of those too!
Thanks!
Nice! Just seen this. I currently work for Stagecoach Newcastle going on Megabus on relief work.
Nice one!

Enjoyable video as usual G! First Jen releases a video for FLIXBUS, and now G releases a video for MEGABUS, must be Coach Week 😏
Haha thanks!
It's a nice little ride between Manchester and Leeds on the M62. Travelled between them many times in the car with family.
Even though I'm more of a train person, it's always good to throw in a road trip now and again too!
Thanks Reece! There's still great views on the motorways I find
I've got the megabus from Glasgow to London a few times really good prices and a great journey, recommended to anyone 👍
Brilliant video G, the megabus coaches do look nice. :)
Thanks!
Great video

I think you and Lucy has the best seats right at the front
Can't believe somebody would wee all over the toilet paper
Haha I can believe it 😂
Another great travelogue. Have you been on the Yorkshire Coastliner Leeds/York Whitby bus yet? One of the most spectacularly scenic bus journeys in the UK. :)
Not yet but I have heard about that one
Swear I saw G in Cardiff yesterday. I suppose I'll find out if I was right if videos appear with different hair.
Looked a very enjoyable day out on the Megabus pity about the weather but still it was great to watch 👍👍✅✅

Megabus in the UK is very different from the Canadian version. Looks like a relaxing ride.
i love yor vids gloves, please can you do the Cardiff to Ebbw Vale Town line and do the knickers song at Risca & Pontymister?
I've always wanted to go on a Megabus
I had a pretty shoddy experience with Megabus, though it was a lease job. Nice vlog from this one G!

Great video and I recognized that brolly you had, the 7th Doctor's, very cool, I've got one myself
Thanks!
I know prices go up on weekends is this the same for this one but I like the station for mega bus up Manchester

£3 London to York. Absolutely amazing. I got lucky with the fate but the service was also great.

Horay glovestrains is in my local city 😊
Surprised no wipers. Even in the 80s the National Express Rapides had wipers for the upper windows.
Always good to compare, just in case
No windshield wiper on that upper level window?
Some US busses have those upper decks.
yeah, wipers on the upper level windows would be very nice...
What was the song on this video
Careful, you're in the twilight zone! A bus clock that has the time correct? Impossible in real life!
Great video, G.
Haha thanks!
Awesome video, Looks like both Flexbus & Megabus are 2 of the UK's Greyhound services?
I think Flixbus actually own Greyhound these days.
How seats are that Megabus?
Hi how was the front seats for leg space , booked the front seats for me and my son .
Any room to kind of put your feet up a bit in front of you ?
Not anything to put your feet onto but i found there was enough leg room 👍
@@GLovesTrains thank you
Is the MEGABUS better than other coach companies. My cousin likes riding with MEGABUS coach and they are very comfortable and cheaper.
I find positives in everything tbh

More comfortable seats than warmer than National express good prices also
When are you doing national express

I went on Megabus once from Sheffield Meadowhall to London Victoria, never again !
Snottytastic it wasn't
Haha oh noes!
I’m doing that exact route in a few hours, but opposite(London to Sheffield). What was so bad about it?

Only 2hrs+ Delay Repay.
Lucy Lastic and G
Not a fan of long distance coaches but that’s probably because I’m 6ft2!
What is on the lower level? That seems a lot of wasted space…
Luggage space i think
5:38 🤣🤣
Blackpool Tower lol😂

Gotta say tbh, I prefer flix bus over mega bus, will you try National Express next? 😁👍
For sure!
@@GLovesTrains I look forward to that 👍😁
I could never ride a bus, even a short 10 minute ride. Thing with coaches is that they go in and out of cities that seems to take ages.
New channel GLovesBuzzes, or should that be GLovesCoaches? 😂
G loves coaches.. lol
🙂
You need to rename yourself as GLovesBus😂, "squishy baby"
I do find coach travel so boring. Especially when most of the journey is on motorways. At least with rail, there is more variety of scenery.
How do people in wheelchairs use that bathroom 🚻!? 🤔 😅
Good question!
Better than Flixbus, as Megabus actually turn up!!!
