I grew up around Saratoga in the 90's. The dealers used to push the youngins to do their best to stay away from the street life. They showed respect to elders. Them Saratoga days was lit. Dennis the ice cream truck was a life saver. We had Discount Mart , Richfood grocery and New Star Carryout and a lil ice cream shop right around the back side (It was torn down which is shown in scene around 21:03). It was dangerous, but was a cool neighborhood at the same time. But it looks like it's gotten a lot worse. Not to mention most of it was torn down. We left in 2002. I do miss it at times.
a lot of things has changed in DC. it was dangerous back in the day but there was a lot of fun to it too.. that's what today is missing. the bad come with a lot more bad with a lot less good like the old times.
