Hi ya Andy. Thanks for your nice comment buddy. Yeah can use all my locos now. Wish I did it properly when I started. Turntable only a hornby one. But should still have some fun with it. Hand almost healed now. Teach me to play with blades ay. Thanks again mucker. ....Pete....
Hi Tony. Thank you for your nice comment buddy. Yeah like to use the hot wire. Don't get those horrible little sticky balls everywhere.😀 Thanks mucker. ....Pete....
Brilliant Pete, that’s what we needed! 👍🏻👍🏻. It’s shaping up very nicely my friend and it looks like that it will work out well too, that little 0-4-0 shunter certainly didn’t have any problems going to the turntable. The shed area will look great when finished too and will give you some additional storage as well. But I guess the most important part was getting that 3rd radius track down so that all your locos should now make is around the complete circuit without any issues. Well done buddy, you’ve done a great job there so far! Great video too! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Cheers. ………..Graham
Hi Graham. Thank you for the lovely comment buddy. Yeah so please with the radius, trouble is got rid of some great locos because I thought I could never run them. Got to do the next stage including electrical things.☹ Again sorry for your loss buddy. Thoughts are with you.❤ ....Pete....
Hi Les. Thank you for your lovely comment buddy. Yeah love getting messy with the plaster, puts a great base down for the scenics. Thanks again for watching. ....Pete....
Hi Pete, that's looking good. It's great to see the turntable in place ,and now the curves are sorted it should make for more enjoyable running. Looking forward to seeing your next update.... cheers James 🙂👍
Hi James. Thank you for your nice comment buddy. Yeah can run all locos now. Going to take some time. Get there in the end. Thanks for watching. Stay safe. ....Pete....
Hi Al. Thank you for your nice comment buddy. Yeah nice to be able to use all my locos now. Pays to do you're research before laying track. Thanks again Al. ....Pete....
Good Morning Pete, Great vlog nicely filmed and edited. Track looks really good the R3s look make a big difference. Nice work with the turntable and track plan, diesel engine shed looks spot on. Take care my friend.
Hi Deano. Thanks for the lovely comment buddy. Yeah 3rd radius up and running. Engine shed to build yet, before I can start the turntable area. Stay safe mucker. ....Pete....
Hi Maura. Thank you for your nice comment. Shouldn't be long now. Just got to sort the wiring out and waiting for things to dry. Thank you for watching Maura. ....Pete....
Oooo Pete! Your hand mate, blimey that looked painful. Hope its healing ok. Im loving what you are doing with the layout, really enjoyed the platering , looking forward to the next part!
A very useful & interesting video Pete, I've just bought one of those foam cutters recently but not had chance to try it out, it looks like a good piece of kit for our hobby. Lovely work on the embankment & I'm very much looking forward to the next installment. It's a big thumbs up from me 👍 .....Andy
Hi Andy. Thanks for the lovely comment buddy. Yeah the wire one is ok, the long straight one broke the first time I used it. When you get yours just be very gentle with it. Got the wiring next time me and electronics don't get on very well. Thanks again Andy, stay safe mucker. ....Pete....
Very good Pete. Sculptamould can get a type of mould if it's too wet. Once it's dried out it is fine. However that's why I build my scenics as dioramas away from the layout, in the warmth of the main house, and then fit it onto the layout afterwards. Sculptamould also gives a better seal, in my opinion, when using water products, just my opinion. Nasty cut from the brushcutter blade mate. It's all coming on nicely and it'll look completely different once you've added the grass etc. All the best Andy
Hi Andy. Thank you for your lovely comment buddy. I was always put off working with paper mache years ago seeing it going all mouldy, then the fix you had to do afterwards. I know sculpture mould isn't the same but seeing getting mouldy on people's layouts put me off. Rob and Grace have that problem now. Hand getting better now, teach me not to play with blades. Good idea of yours building dioramas away from the cold. Got two on my layout but did them in the summer. Thanks again Andy. ....Pete....
Hey Pete. Good video. Will be interesting to see how it all works out. I haven't used sculptamould on any of the embankments/hillsides that I have made either. Just painted them up in a shade of brown acrylic paint like you have and done the scenery on top. Will hopefully catch up with the other two parts of the build as soon as I can. Take care. Mark.
Hi ya Mark. Thank you for your nice comment buddy. That control area is done now, so I can crack on with the turntable area when the mojo is back. Sculpture mould they say has a possibility of black mold if you go about 45% humidity. Didn't want to take the chance. Remember the days of paper mache. Thanks again Mark. ....Pete....
Thanks Rob and Grace. Going to be a long job. Not over keen on electronics. Yes got my 3rd radius down all go round great now. Thank you for your nice comment. ....Pete....
Hi Chris. Thank you for your nice comment buddy and thank you for your sub. Should be able to vlog the last one next week. This is just for the Control area. Thanks for watching Chris. ....Pete....
Hi Earl. Best way to stop mold forming is to use sculpture mould with below 45% humidity. Get it dry as soon as you can. Never heard of IPA used. Plus don't use sculpture mould or paper mache. Thank you for Watching anyway. ....Pete....
Hi Mon. Thank you for your nice comment buddy. You can call me whatever you like as long as you have a smile on your face.😀 Stay safe Mon. ....Pete....
Hi Pet, nice shot across the layout at 4:42 giving a great sense of depth. Don't strim yourself again buddy! Never boring. Do you have a 4575 as per your opening intro? Cheers Dave.
Hi Dave. Thank you for your nice comment buddy. 🤣No keeping my distance from that blade. No sadly don't have one of those. Taken from my day at East Somerset Heritage Railway. Thanks again Dave. ....Pete....
That line and South Devon on my visit list. I have a Bachmann one from Olivia's Trains. Still available at full rrp there. Nice loco even though I'm modelling 1937-42, couldn't resist. Cheers mate. @@delphjunction1168
Hello again Dave. East Somerset railway is only 5 miles long. But so much to see, you can visit engine shed, workshops and signal box. Well worth a visit. Did do a vlog on it. ....Pete....

Does anyone know if you mix IPA into the water used in the mixing up the sculpture mold if that would maybe serve to stop the growth of mole?
