Clean looking knife. I heard kizer slapped a patent on the adjustable crossbar lock. Vosteed mini nightshade had extra spring holes on early teardown videos but the new ones on Amazon only have one hole for the spring. Anyways, I hope it's not true because I love the adjustability and want to see more companies doing it.

Kizer's crossbars are miles ahead of Vosteed's. I own both.

The crossbar lock is not my favorite lock type as it does usually result in spongy action. By far my favorite is the Drop Bear but I can’t say it’s universal even within the same company. I tried the Sheepdog with the crossbar lock and it just didn’t hit the same which I am guessing is due to the size and the blade shape/weight. But I’ve never tried Vosteed’s and after hearing you talk I just have to give it a whirl!
