Airsoft lemons are common my cz po9 didn't do the slide lock up when tilted 90° I intentaly tried to get it to lock up it didn't. The trigger mine worked great I loved the gun I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it the way I did.
the grip feels nice with 2 hands, and the slide release is supposed to be used by the off-hand. The slide not being tall is good because you have a lot of space to grip the pistol without your hand interfering with the slide. Mine also doesn't have those slide issues
Looks like you have something wrong with the gun because after I saw your video I tried mine to check if it has the same issue in the slide and the tigger and it works perfectly fine. Seems like something is worn out , broken or loose inside that cause your slide to block when tilted .
I've never heard anybody have this many issues! I'm still looking for a cheap pistol around 100 dollars, preferably not in 1911 style, and this thing has had only good recommendations. Perhaps yours is faulty???
Not hating, pointing out the flaws and problems that I find. I am very picky and critical so everything that I do not mention is actually just fine. I just found these issues very odd and also the fact that it does not fit my hand made me not like it, for me personally.
You are not supposed to be able to reach the slide stop without altering your grip. Sigs are the only gun designed with a "Slide release", it is towards the back of the gun.
Good that it locks up on it side and upwards cause if you use it in milsm and grab it with you finger on the trigger you may shot accidental and hit someone or something so it's great idea
First, nice video. I was really planning to get one, when there was a freaking sell and cost only 65 USD/54EUR (in Taiwan), since I don't care much about carvings. But as I looked more into it, I found the magazine has only the mag catch notch on the right. Which means the mag catch is right hand only. So I just decided to not buy it. I really hope strarkarms would make a P09 with a ambi mag release, and free from the slide locking issue.
Sorry, I do not. Do you mean Stark Arms/VFC Smith & Wesson M&P9? If so then I can not recommend pistols by SA/VFC other than for good looks and nice finish. They are not good to use for playing airsoft and have poor performance and durability. If you want looks, get the M&P9. If you want something you can use in airsoft game, get the P09. :D
I guess I just today put up an order of an airsoft pistol like this... ;) I own many 4.5mm airguns. Amongst them are the CZ P-07 and the P-09. Love them. Finally decided to get an airsoft version too of the CZ. The Sig P226 X-Five is one of my favorite airguns ever therefore I once bought an airsoft version too. Too bad I can't really find a holster for that one anywhere. But, luckily, to get a holster for the CZ P-07 and the P-09 was easy. Now I just somehow came up with the idea to get me an airsoft version too of the P-09. Love the grip. Fits just awesome. Just *after* (Yup. when I get excited about things I usually do things too hasty) making the order I noticed that it is only "CO2 compatible" - and seemingly it does not come with both a gas and a CO2 mag in the case. Kind of a shame really. Bummer. Would have been a perfect package. I pack lots of 12g CO2 at home because of my many CO2 4.5mm airpistols - but never bought any airsoft gas. So now I oughta find some seller who has to offer me the right CO2 magazine for this pistol. I surely oughta do some more research on things before I get stuff like this... :D :D No idea if all the CZ airsoft P-09 mags are compatible with each other. Seen some new P-09 with an extended, threaded barrel. Dunno if the mags are 100% compatible.. Will be interested to find out what makes the slide lock if the pistol is tilted. Mystery solved by now? Noticed a screw on the top of the rear sight.. Is the rear sight adjustable for windage? (trulyfuckinhopeso)...
@@elitesennabubble Yes. Surely can. My P-09 did come with a gas magazine, but the metal slide version sure is thebone to work with co2 magazine use. I did order a co2 magazine separately afterwards. One damn awesome airsoft pistol imo. No regrets.
+spinxtercell Hmmm, not really used to any specific platform but I prefer my grips a little more ergonomic. My favorites are Glock 19, S&Q M&P 9, Beretta M9, Walther PPQ and my new FN FNX :D This is a little too straight and square, reminds me of a polymer 1911 almost. And I realized a while back I don't really like the 1911 grip.
+Non Existent This is Interesting, because for me the P09 (just arrived yesterday) is the most ergonomic pistol I ever had. It feels way nicer than the Fnx in my opinion. The finish is nice (especially for that Price). Sadly, I have the same issue with the double action trigger. I wills just add some other (real) sights and maybe a stronger recoil spring with an non-brass inner (mostly for the looks). You can shoot really fast with it. To be honest, Iam thinking of selling one of my TM Glocks to get an Fde P09.
hey can you explain me, if there is a difference betwenn the KJW CZ P-09 DUTY and the KJW CZ P-09 you tested. In Germany I only see the Duty Variant but I can't tell if there is a difference betwen the two, beside the DUTY markings on the slide.
It's the same pistol. One is straight from KJW and the other is licensed by ASG but OEM'd by KJW. So the differences will be markings and packaging. Same exact gun inside though.
What I can't understand are the minor nuances that you so highly criticized in this video. Why does it matter that the slide gets blocked at 100-degree tilt? or that the grip doesn't feel good in your hand. You need to criticize errors that will greatly affect everyone. You go over no pro, you just bash on the minor negatives that the gun has, this makes people not want to purchase it.
I can't do much else than offer up my personal thoughts and experiences with the pistol and as is the standard on my channel videos is that it is pretty much a first impression out of the box. And I am also very critical. So if those are the only two minor things I point out, then there is nothing much else wrong with the pistol.
sounds bad about the trigger! not nice feeling when you can't feel the wall, then a nice break! I got a sig p226 that shows no sign of a break. just fires at some point! all the glocks I have have a nice take up and break. once again good video dude. ☺
+BARRY WATTS Yeah. Airsoft triggers are pretty meh compared to real ones from what I hear, in terms of break and feel. But this one was particularly bad. Thanks! :D
Dude what's your problem with this gun why are you hating on it. It's a great gun. I did 6 hours of research any airsoft pistol. I looked at it. My research lead me to this gun.
Lot's of comments like this on this video. The main point for me is that I did not like the way it felt for me in my hands or with the controls or ergonomics. It's personal preference, not "hate". Hey I'd like to say this is out dated, I've bought the newer version and haven't had any of these issues so I'd like it if you did a recap on this gun with the newer one and see what you have to say, I'd say this is actually my favorite pistol and my go to over all my other pistols, www.evike.com/products/55214/
Yeah I'm not going to buy another one of these just to see if the problems are still there :p Never heard of KJW updating designs based on flaws/problems. Might be down to quality control, who knows.
Non Existent I didn't say to see if the issues are still there I'm saying they aren't, also go watch other people's reviews and none of them have any of these problems, and I personally can say that so sorry buddy but this review is not in anyway true, you want feedback here it is
How can you say it is not true when it is reality and a fact as per the video? :o Also I have had confirmations of these issues from other people on Arnies Airsoft forum. Either way I am not getting another one of these because I don't like the ergonomics of the pistol.
the barrel for the treaded ver. extends out passed the slide. its the only one i could find to buy by a u.s seller..i am cutting mine off. i don't like how it looks and i am never going to do a silencer or tracer unit.

id say get a Double Bell M92. it’s GBB and uses green gas.
I got this pistol and it is really nice. Definitely feels better than my brother's 1911
Not interested in your personal opinions just want to know what it preforms like
I know I'm watching this late but it's seems ur hating on this great gun if u don't want it way did u buy it

Exactly what I was thinking. Disliked!

clearly you never customised a gun, extended slide releases are a super common upgraded part that has actual tactical benefits
you are supposed to operate it with your off-hand

Aaah, I see. Is the real one reversible?
+Airsoftotaku Hehe, so true. If the real one has it, the replica should as well! :D
Airsoftotaku it’s not that much of an issue I’m a lefty and I’d still get it it still has an ambi safety switch
Do you have any useful info about the gun or just everything you hate?
Depending on how you look at it negative information can also be seen as useful :-p
If you have KWC/Cybergun SW MP09 , compare to CZ P09 duty (CO2), which one should i buy? ( i like both )
Sorry, I do not. Do you mean Stark Arms/VFC Smith & Wesson M&P9?

Does anyone know how to fix that slide when upside down?
Is this the same as the Black tan modell is it the same licecing and marsk and quality
Sorry I can't say without a reference to which model you are talking about :o
Just got this yesterday… but damn didn’t know this gun was that old… lol
Are the problems said in the video fixed or not?
How long have you had this pistol and does it have any problems now?
Another one of my guns that was bought and has been in the box since so I can't give you any useful info :o
You sure as hell know how to find flaws. ^^
Maybe KJW should know about their crap. =P
+bfgguns Hehe, yeh, pretty strange quirks on this one.
Hey. Im wondering if is worth to get one (cz p09 - is it reliable) or maybe asg/kjw cz shadow 2. What do you think?
Not a big fan of the CZ pistols or use them but I hear good things about them so if you like the model go ahead and buy one.
