Kris I cant believe you don’t have more followers your cinematography is wonderful and you both are the right mixture of funny and smart asses. I hope you keep up the channel.
Stunning photography as usual. I always find your videos so relaxing, a nice escape from this mad world we live in. Already looking forward to your next episode. Cheers and thank you.
15 locks! Wow. I don’t know anything about boating, but that seems quite admirable to me. Well done you! I was so happy you didn’t forget your walkie talkie. The opening frames of this video would make a grand painting. You and Andrew and yes Matilda seem to have really gotten your routines down. Loved watching those older gentleman traveling together on their boat. They really were like a well oiled machine. Be well. See you next time.
This was a great blog, the photos of sunsets and sunruse,, spectacular, they could be framed for your boat. Lovely having Andrew joining in as you set off. You really work hard Kris, doing all those locks and pretty fast too. Enjoy the next few days, not cruising so far, so fast. 🍷🍷🌸🌿
Long time viewer, second time commenter, glad you decided to keep vlogging, so often people just stop and they don’t say nowt, we always wonder if some awful fate has befallen them, like being eaten by wolves ( unlikely) or whether they just can’t be arsed( likely ) so well done for not falling foul to either of those. You went by our boat at Cowroast, moored on the off side ( Albion mills) keep up the good work ☮️
New Zealand here (ex UK) .... Love your films. You two remind me of Timothy West and Prunella Scales in "Great Canal Journeys". Hope your journeys last as long and are as much fun as theirs.
I am late to the Vlog, midnight here, but such a nice way to end the day. Beautiful scenery and I like that you’ve decided to have fun and not rush. Love the scenery and the little factoid about Andrew doing the website for the marina was nice. Glad you were able to find a good mooring spot. Matilda looks great. Welcome back, you were missed! 🤗😊 🦢 Kathy
Lovely as always. I can imagine it would take a while to figure out your best method for moving about... making sure you can enjoy it more certainly sounds like a good plan though.
How Much For This in London is always my favourite bit, if a little depressing when you see actual property listings and realise you’re not that far off reality 😂
Such a beautiful vlog , it would be wonderful to live on a boat I bet you just love it …..with all this beautiful sunsets outside your window , just love watching your travels 📖💘
Always lovely to watch your vlogs, your footage and editing are always top notch... as is the company, of course! Looking forward to my second narrowboat holiday in Autumn. No locks... the novice's dream... 😂😅
Awesome vlog, we did the Ashby canal last year and are returning to the UK in April for some more, would love to bump in to you guys on the Cut, metaphorically speaking of course😊
Too much beauty 4:31 that bridge 😊 It's Interesting to experience a hard day occasionally I wonder if waybackmachine has the website that Andrew designed archived ? It can be kind've like an out of body experience, looking back at your internet history.
Been following you from day 1 but never commented before. I am just curious - what happens if you can’t find a mooring and it gets dark and you still can’t find one - do you just keep going until you do even though it’s 4:00 am (for example)?
It's best not to cruise in the dark (for obvious reasons) and we've always been able to find a spot eventually, but sometimes it's just in an annoying location or further than we expect. But if there's absolutely NOTHING and you really can't carry on, you just have to do the best you can, moor somewhere bad (like a lock landing or something) and then move as soon as you can at the crack of dawn. It's not ideal, but people are generally sensible and would understand as long as you don't take the piss!
Is website design what Andrew does? If so, I have a website that is already done but there are a few functionality issues that need correcting. Reach out if he's interested.
Cheers. I run Digital Photo Gallery, which is a platform I wrote myself. It’s in part a website builder, but also a system for individuals and teams to manage images. The whole codebase is custom-written. I prefer spending my time progressing the platform rather than working with third-party ones. I find it much more rewarding controlling the whole stack. I appreciate you thinking of me, though :)
I've had a lil break for summer but I promise I'm back on my editing bullshit 🫡
Kris I cant believe you don’t have more followers your cinematography is wonderful and you both are the right mixture of funny and smart asses. I hope you keep up the channel.
I’m waiting for the day when your videos catch up with real world time. I have a feeling the universe may explode at that point 😅
Hahah 😅
