Thank you! A lot of walk throughs are all about how pretty a curriculum is or what the mom likes... i really needed to understand the mechanics of how it works. I love the idea of gentle homeschool, I work full-time irregular hours from home... it needs to be open and go with a format that helps me stay consistent... and 2 attempts at video/online have proved that my kids don't jive with hybrid programs. They need some concentrated time with mom each day. I am excited about AGF i think this may be what i am looking for.
Wow! Thanks for such a joyful response. I adore your name - Tirzah (beautiful). If you’re not already in the groups on FB for AGF, be sure and get involved. The groups are encouraging and helpful when you have specific hang ups or questions. I also work 20-40 hour weeks.
Thank you so much! we are between AGF and peaceful press. would you suggest one over the other? Also, did I understand correctly that this is only for 12 weeks not a year? is peaceful press kind kingdom the same?
Hello Jerrica! AGF covers 36 weeks of curriculum. This was their morning time/beauty loop materials I went over. They include 3 twelve week terms. King Kingdom is a full year curriculum as well. I do not recommend one over the other. In my opinion, they have different educational philosophies. AGF is a more direct Charlotte Mason curriculum. It follows Miss Mason’s suggestions for starting history with your own country and moving forward and outward as your children grow and mature. You deep dive into US history for 4 full years before moving into other country’s and world history. Kind Kingdom is more a classical study with amazing living books, hands on baking and projects, and a beautiful and rich look at the Renaissance as well as Kings & Queens of England and some WW2. It’s all tied together by the Chronicles of Narnia books. It’s honestly a toss up! They are both delightful ways to learn and study.
What happens when you have gone through all four morning time books and then you're looping back through? Will your kids already know all of the poetry and recitations and Bible verses?
That’s a great question. No, because each time they will be in a new form. So when it comes to recitation, they will have new ones based on their form. Also, Julie has a second set of composers, poets, and artists for those of us looping back through.

SO HELPFUL! Thank you sweet girl. Peace to you.
Good! Glad it was helpful!
This is fantastic! I hope you do more AGF videos!
Thanks so much, Crystal. I thought for sure I had responded to these comments!.
@@kindletogetherness I remember you replying to my comment too. I wonder why it disappeared.
@@countrywisheshomeschool Okay. So weird. At least I did respond. Makes me feel a little less crazy.
Hi! Love your videos! Just wondering if you get the morning time student sheets with the base curriculum?
That's a super good question. You don't. You get basic plans for morning time online in your membership, but no additional printables and extras.
@@kindletogetherness thank you!

We love morning time, even if we don't use AGF.
It is important to use what is best for your family!

Where did you buy the notebooks where they draw their pictures?
