"Is there scientific evidence of adverse health effects due to AC magnetic fields? Yes. Researchers have found health effects, including a doubling of leukemia rates associated with living in AC magnetic field strengths greater than 4.0 mG [4mG = 0.4uT] "

Cool video!
Your Alphalab Trifield meter is only capable of checking AC magnetic (and electric) fields. At the DC charging station you won’t have any AC magnetic field that’s why your meter shows close to zero.
When you’re charging from AC, all electric vehicles will have extreme level of magnetic field.
BTW you will also have super high DC magnetic field in addition, regardless if you’re changing from DC or AC. (You just can’t measure it with your meter).
I’d not sit in the vehicle while charging for sure.
The EVs will also have high level of RF and magnetic field while you’re driving it.
I measured a Tesla and that’s similar.
There is little research about health effects and DC fields.
Over 2000 studies about harmful effects of RF (radio frequency, such as Bluetooth, Wifi, cellular ph, etc.), electric and magnetic fields, it’s definitely harming our biology on the cellular level.
(I’m an electrical conductor specializing on EMF and mitigation)
Do you mean "contractor?" you wouldn't want to be an electrical conductor 😂
@@SB-dg8hq It could be a super power you never know
Not saying it's a good thing, but people have worked in these levels of electromagnetics and radiation for 50 + years with zero side effects
Could you do a short highway trip while collecting data?
Apparently there are other EVs that do immerse you in a bath of emf..
I honestly had no idea that electric cars expose you to radiation , thank you for doing this! I hope manufacturers plan on doing something about this but i feel like they wont do much…
All new cars have emf , because of the computer , all new cars have one , even ice cars ,
@@jasoncarmichael4540no. Stop it shill
@@ivanvalentin3898 there’s no more emf in an electric car to an ice car , because the emf comes from the computer, which every car today has

That is the most interesting video i ever see, Mike thank you for that info!! Keep the good job alive!!!
I actually experienced more EMF driving a gas car when I tested both. Especially in the front. Same with the hybrid, when the engine was running the meter jumped up but when the engine turned off it went back down.
The EV had low levels while driving, it just has elevated levels when charging AC. Very few people sit in their cars while charging at home.
Holy crap 3:50 run
Radiation accumulates with each exposure. My first medical license was working with X radiation cobalt cesium implants now we’ve got five chairs they’re working on tenge and now even 20.. off radiation accumulates, and its affects accumulate in the cells.
Interesting, never thought about EMF with an electric car.
And ice cars as well
@@jasoncarmichael4540no youre a shill
@@jasoncarmichael4540 no, not even close. Not even in the same galaxy.
How high when you accelerated or drove the car?
You should try this while accelerating and under heavy braking/regen. European testing I’ve seen supposedly says the magnetic fields are large when using the battery in that way as well.
Test a Tesla! You should add this to your EV car reviews.
EMF Radiation in a gas car: ua-cam.com/video/dGym9DHOcnU/v-deo.html
Do not use an EF meter in your home if you use electricity or have electrical wiring (EF everywhere)
Measure the radiation in a moving subway or train full of people with cell phones. 😱
Thank you for doing this. You are educating many people that EV is not all bad. This dude invest w real expensive equipment to test $ 450. 😂

Also, the increased radiation while charging with A/C at home could be the cause of these catastrophic fires and explosions.
The Trifield device's tutorial states that levels above 30 mag are harmful. Also, is the charging done using AC or DC?
I demonstrated both AC and DC charging in this video.
I see the meter is giving a measurement in "mG", so I guess that would be magnetic flux density in milligauss? If that's what you're measuring, then these measurements are tiny and there doesn't seem to be much cause for concern. A fridge magnet is already like 50 gauss.
you is not sitting in fridge 8 hours per day everyday like some ppl who do work with it ...every thing above 2 magnetic fields is causing biological changes ....why he didnt messure microwaves radiation? and what kind of
So who can explain why the counter spikes while it's moving but drops when it's static in the vehicle.
This video may help some feel safe, however for some it's incredibly telling without telling XD
You didnt put the meter next to the charging port for the home charger
It's a need to know especially if you or a passenger has a pacemaker, ppl need to check what a same level is in those cases, in the UK if you have a pacemaker you are not allowed near a vehicle charging, also with portable Powerbanks for RVing, camping off gridding not only do groups of vulnerable ppl as mentioned need to know what's safe for them ( most the manufactures do not mention such health hazards) BUT they all need grounding/earthing something else the manufactures don't tell you or hide it
ua-cam.com/video/dGym9DHOcnU/v-deo.html
Fun fact, every vehicle has to pass strict FCC guidelines / regulations for EMF before entering production. You can look up the certification from their website.
Like the jabs, its safe and effective.
@@davidhamtaro I do work in an accredited ISO 17025 / A2LA lab that tests their sensors used for testing so I have some faith in the results. The jab however that’s a different story. We only calibrated the freezers that stored the vaccine.
@@coreysmith4579 you have to forgive me, I’m just a conspiracy theorist 🤪 wait another 10 years we’ll see.
Don’t leave your baby in the backseat !?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a comparison it would be interesting to see the radiation levels around the home and under power lines.
For example a washing machine when working, a old CRT television or computer monitor, next to a microwave oven. and outside under high voltage power lines.
The radiation levels inside the car while in motion would also be very interesting, that would require two or three people to do that experiment, one driver, one person taking the readings and someone to operate the camera.
Safety first though.

Hi you have to mesure also .when the car is moving and put the metter in MAG weighted position
I did, but it wasn't very high while driving. Less EMF than a regular car.
@@MikesCarInfo yes it is impressive i have the same meter and i have an audi and a mercedes and they emit a lot. The Audi 2016 emit a lot in the front in the ground and in the dasboard, but in the seats in the back nothing, is a front wheel drive car. The mercedes from 2000 is rear wheel drive car, a lot emf in the floor and near the tunnel of the transmission, and in the back seat on the right because the battery of the car is under the seat. I want to buy a new car and i am researching i have seen videos with tesla model y and the result were similar of yours, but i never felt well in electric cars. Maybe this meters are limited. There are meters that mesure also the dirty electricity.

Of course it is
I asked my sister, an EV owner about the radiation she was exposed to sitting on her battery, she isn't concerned its got a gel coating.....
Take your iodine! There is stronger for those in high radiation, like EV passengers.
At the test lab our EMF METERS and very expensive very expensive……all of them test high in levels of EMF RADIATION ☢️ in Tesla and EV vehicles 🚗 hmmmm interesting….the truth is stranger than fiction it’s obvious and just plain common sense and real street smart and true spirit with discernment
Its gvng Chenobyl feels
EMF meters doe not tell you the whole radiation spectrum, only the Radio-TV and cellular phone range,
but the majority of the radiation in an electric vehicle is lower than that spectrum, you need a few fine tunned frequancy Gauss meters to give you the Tesla levels readings at each level, and they are off the charts by a magnitude of 10 to 100 over the medical legal levels of poisoning radiation.
Curious compared to a modern ICE vehicle if an EV is better if worse.
@@KG-vq2hj Elecric Vehicles are about 80 times worse, first an Internal Combustion Engine drives power from controlled micro explsions of chemical mixtures that produce expansion of gases due to enourmous heat, but zero electromagnetic activity; they also have some electric activity with electricity geeration for the battery, on board computer etc, about 80 times less than an Electric Vehicle, if measured next to it.
While EV produces motion from; twisting and torsioning pulsing electric charges at 120 degrees from eachother (tri phanse motors) that create proportionally (huge) electromagnetic field variations both in.
A). 3 phases orientation in all the cables from the inverter to the motors (like under the high voltage electricity transport lines that gives you cancer in 10 years if you live in vicinity, but in a car you sit on them with your genitals, so no problem I guess, just like sitting on them high voltage cables wouldbe no problem for your genitals, at all) and
B). in rotary (drill bit effect\ orientation) around each motor that have a low frequency rotary effect in any cell of your body that contians water disoving something, (but only in those cells, the others not affected since the others do not exist, al you are is water disolving other chemicals).
All this in extremely low frequencies that cannot be dettected with any radiation detecting device, you need a low frequency Gauss device to measure the Tesla levels, and they are according to my measurments about 1000 times higher than the humans limit of toxicity medically acceptable.
Plus the electronics on board that also has some effect (negative) on humans in a totally different frequency range easy to mesure with devices you find in any online shop for cheap.
@@severpop8699 What device would be needed to test the lower lever fields you mentioned? I have a tri-field meter, 3-axis. I tested out a ICE car I was considering(Toyota Matrix) and the magnetic fields where very high, 15 at the driver seat, 100+ near the feet, same on passenger side. Alternately I tested out an Ioniq 5 and 6 and they both came in rather lower comparably at 1-2 at the seat and 5-10 near the feet. If you turn on the head lights or push the brake pedal then it goes to 4-5 at the seat and 30-80 near the feet but still far less over all than the static field of the the ICE vehicle.
I say don't worry your little head about it. It will be fine. I know it's fine with me.
what about while driving?
Very low. Lower than and ICE vehicle from what I have experienced.
@@MikesCarInfothat's a relief to know 😊

That’s like saying a little e. Coli in your food isn’t that bad Lmaoo. Don’t you know DC power is notoriously harmful for humans?
No, because it's not true. We would have died by now.
Damn. Now i know sleeping/napoing inside the car during slow AC charging is not safe 😢
Wouldn’t be anymore dangerous then sniffing petrol while filling the car
ua-cam.com/video/dGym9DHOcnU/v-deo.html
but magnetic fields relieves body pains
Yeah it's funny, but things are much more complicated than they seem. EMF is also about frequency for example. Water can also heal but also harm. You can drink it but you can also drown in it. You can also harm yourself just from drinking too much water or by drinking polluted water. Same for EMF, but they dislike admitting that.
@@Merializerwise words 👍
The moral of the story is don’t sleep in your electric car while it’s charging.
😂😂 And don't eat in the car while charging your EV.
The car was turned off for both tests. You need to test with the car running.
The car was on.
ua-cam.com/video/dGym9DHOcnU/v-deo.html
Electromagnetic "RADIATION" is nothing like "Ionizing Radiation" or "Nuclear Radiation"! Electromagnetic radiation is not nearly as dangerous as most people think because they equate it with Nuclear radiation!
As a DC Power Technician working with very high capacity batteries and solar power systems, this appears to be rigged or possibly faked. DC power does not produce massive amounts of Electromagnetic Radiation. Even the generator that produces the AC that is converted to DC for charging does not produce harmful levels of EM radiation. You are more.likely to be hurt by the noise than the "radiation"!
