    Hi Brett,
Happy Father’s Day from another father,I got taken out for lunch which was very nice.
Like your curtain idea I have a sheet of Carters building wrap behind me while on the lathe,it stops the spread of shavings but it’s still hard getting down to pick them up with my 81 year old body, those curtains light up the area as well.
Keep on turning and stay safe there’s nothing like family all working together great to see
    Regards

Happy Father’s Day to you also Mal. It was a fun morning for the family. I trust you had an enjoyable Father’s Day and the kids called in to say Hi.
      Still considering the next project.
Thanks Mal for your continued support Brett

@@TurningStarkers I certainly did thanks Brett, the girls looked after me very well with a trip to the driving range, a game of squash and a curry for dinner

Love it, I am planning to do the same in my shop

Thanks Bob. I had to draw the line as I felt like I would do an hour on the lathe then an hour removing the shavings from everywhere 😀

I now have curtain envy 😂. I need to do the same thing in my little shed. At least your shop is cleaner than mine! Cheers, Stuart

Stuart. It’s taken me hours to vacuum the epoxy up, there still layers of dust covering many horizontal surfaces
      Glad you enjoyed

@@TurningStarkers you should have! 😂. And I agree that resin shavings are especially difficult to clean up. They seem to stick to everything and get everywhere!!

Great Idea Brett, I currently have to back the Wifes car out to do woodturning, wonder how far away is Mothers day.

They do and epoxy appears to worse, it goes everywhere.
