I assume the plastic wrapping on these things is contributing to micro plastics in the water as well. It dissolves, it doesn't just vanish into thin air. I wish people would stop using these. Can we normalize respecting the water supply this year please
I don't bother buying any. I use baking soda two teaspoons worth with a few drops of washing up liquid 3 to 5. Then once washer starts to fill with water I pause cycle and add two cups of spirit vinegar. Works perfectly n super cheap. This also cleans dishwasher too at the same time. However I rinse down the pots before hand with cold water anyways.
@@codewick8985 right. I hear of organic but some of the brands are not really organic or they are hard to find. I googled Dawn's dish soap and baking powder with distilled vinegar as a rinse, it cleans and is cheaper! 😁
I only use vinegar and water. It works. Adding a bit of lemon to your cooking helps you and your dish washing. Only cook with things you can get squeaky clean easily - smooth ceramics and glass. Metals and embroidery tend to require a brush and you might easily miss something. A dish washer that heats everything to 165 for at least five minutes in the rinse cycle is an excellent tool. Boil water in a cup in a microwave, dip paper towels in the water using tongs, is an alternative (method of cleaning). That method keeps the water clean when you only dip clean paper towels in the cup. Grandma developed arthritis and worse I suspect from not wearing gloves doing housework. Thankfully she taught me the trick to cleaning windows streak free - spray bottle half vinegar half rub alcohol. When you can not buy relief from pain, do what ever you can to stay healthy.

I use hot water and elbow grease, sometimes just elbow grease.
Ecos isn't bad and it's available in some stores.
Just when you thought microplastics were bad…
I never use those pods but they put kems in there to make the food fully rinse off the dishes so there's no residue
