I've never used a dating app myself, and have no plans to do so. Nobody asked for my advice, but I'll give it anyway. If you're a westerner that's looking to meet a filipina, I think you shouldn't get impatient and use a dating site. Go there and meet someone....or go there and then use the apps. This way it's very hard to get scammed and you can immediately meet the girl and decide if she's for you. It seems pretty obvious you'll be able to find a filipina almost no matter what you look like, so don't get impatient....go to the Philippines. One more tip. Once you've met someone you like and start a relationship. Ask her to close all her dating sites. If she won't, she's obviously still looking. If she does, you're looking good. I'd do a little snooping on the site to make sure she did also. Who wants to waste their time with a liar?
How long did that take? I've mostly just found some very big scams, freelancers and 'poverty brides' (not love based). Perhaps, you're young and hot which would make for a more realistic relationship. I didn't find anything real. Peace.

If it's a dating site, your comment supports my original comment. If you actually went to the Philippines and had that kinda luck, I think we need more info on you to figure out why.
Agreed. Dating apps suck here with obese women saying they are average. Or have 10 year old pictures. One thing is it's impossible to date western woman on line. They are full of demands at 65! If you watch the Filipina Pea, she kind of lets the cat out of the bag on Filipina women. I just asked one to drop her account and I would too, also asked some hard questions and its been crickets. She may still answer, but we will see here shortly. I would also hire a Philippine private investigator through an attorney or a solid citizen. Its worth 40 bucks to find out someone was lying instead of getting your heart broke.
I'm pretty good at sniffing out a liar myself....in all walks of life. I live by the saying that actions speak louder than words. I think it would be much harder to tell if someone is lying from across a couple continents though. That's why I say go there first. I suppose if you're really concerned, hiring someone to check your new gf out would be a good idea. I just couldn't see myself doing it. Too much foolish pride. 🤣
I met my Cebuana wife on Filipino Cupid, although I never actually paid for the service. At that time, standard users could send msgs containing only 7 letters or something like that, kind of a tease to make you pay. But I managed to get her Skype, she sent it over a series of 5 or 6 msgs, and we started chatting there lol. Next month we'll have our 3 year anniversary. Two comments: 1) On Christian Filipina, you get tons of emails for prayer sessions and the like. Also, you tend to get a lot less information than on other sites. 2) The notion that you can just fly into Manila or Cebu and walk the malls and get the best women in the Philippines is rather silly. Most of the successful Filipinas that I have worked with over the years are working six days a week and spending Sundays with their families. Dating sites are a good way of meeting people with your same values and goals.
Your words mean nothing if success means nothing to that person looking for love. 7 out of 10 times the better woman is struggling, compared to one who is already successful alone, and success doesn't mean everything to everyone. Love isn't based on success either my guess is you're actually just as single as I am right now.
I have an account with Christian Filipina but I have found a few cons. The premium membership is the highest of all the dating sites. Many of the women have kids. Many of the women were married or separated (same thing to me). Many had financial burdens like supporting relatives, putting brothers and sisters through school and so on. I made my account dormant because of these things. As for Filipina Cupid, I had over 10 scammers contact me. As soon as the sad stories started, I reported them. They tried every sad tale in the book but I did not fall for any of those fish stories.

I was approached by my Filipina 5yrs ago today on Facebook and I was talking to 7 women at that time and they all lived here in America. My girlfriend just won me over after we talked for several days I stopped talking to all the women except her. As the months went by during our LDR I had noticed she never once asked or hinted about wanting any money nor did she have a sad story about a family member needing anything. Then years went by and I was planning to go see her but in 2019 my father had a stroke and passed away. Then 2 months later my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer then the pandemic happened and through it all my Filipina was my rock. Always there for me and always making sure I was OK cause she knew I was really close to my mother. Then April 9th 2021 my mother passed but before she passed away she said to me "get your ass to the Philippines and see that woman she really loves you and is waiting for you". So after all of the bad things I had going on in my life I finally booked my trip and spent 33 days with her. We hit it off like we had been friends and lovers for years and I have to say that I hit the Filipina lottery with this girl. Be careful out there guys. You can find a great woman in the Philippines but just be careful
So glad you hit the jackpot. I did too. I was recovering from liver transplant surgery, and as you can imagine American women could not wait to end our dates. Then I used filipinocupid and wow. The differences were immediate. I have been over 4 times, and the only thing holding us up is her dad's poor health. And she has never asked for one penny.
@barryj3266 we intend to stay here in the Philippines. Make sure to always have money set aside for your medical services and you'll be fine as long as you don't have bad health issues. I love how cheap everything is here. Even going to Boracay is cheap as long as you let your Filipina book the flights and rooms cause they will charge foreigners double cause they think we're rich. My girl asked them why you charge him double I call the police and then they sat down and did it right and since then I let her deal with all the money here.

I met my fiancée purely by accident through badoo. She was looking to make friends in an entirely different country (New Zealand) and I was wanting somebody local as well as trying to find out what had happened to my previous girlfriend (she disappeared suddenly after breaking up with me via text - yes, she was also a filipina). Anyway, the algorithm screwed up/got it right and introduced us because there was a similar place name within both of our areas (albeit different countries). Initial communications were slow, but soon picked up so we were video chatting at least an hour a day. Now it's a year and a half later, we're engaged and waiting for the various visas, etc for her and her daughter to move here and get married.

Christian Filipina works because the men have to pay $300 US to be a member so most want a LTR. Fake profiles from women are removed. No bad behavior is tolerated. What 2 people do on Video Chats is their own business. If a man is serious about a woman part of the payment is to do a background check on up to 3 women to protect the man from scammers.

I met my fiancé on Filipino Cupid. I’ve heard good things about Christian Filipina. I think both are good. People who can’t spot red flags should not be dating online. Red flag number 1- constant excuses not to video chat. Red flag 2- asks for money. Red flag 3- doesn’t respond to text right away. You should know when someone is really into you, it’s obvious. Just be respectful, don’t start pushing for sexual things, be clean cut and have a job. Filipinas usually don’t like beards. Women from the Philippines love lots of attention and are very loving and affectionate. That’s it in a nutshell.

i was a swede working at norway in 2019 at a job i wanted to leave. my friend in gothenburg called me and more or less pitched me a dating group on facebook. "its time for you to get a soulmate". i told him i wasnt quite ready for a relationship let alone a whole family but he insisted, so i joined the group and after weeks of consideration i decided to upload a dating post saying i was looking for that special someone. little did i know that the vast mayority of the members there were from the philippines. i tried to avoid filipinas at all costs as i wasnt eager to go to the other side of the globe, but there was one filipina who wrote such a cute message to me that i could not ignore it, so i started chatting with her (alot) and three days later she asked me if i wanted to marry her. i kindly told her that i am very interested in her but that it was too early for me to know if i wanted to marry her. (3 days - i mean come on!). we kept chatting, i resigned from work and used saving to travel to her the same year for a 20 day visit, and i planned multiple shorter trips, but then the pandemic hit. so since then i sent her money, not so much financial support, but rather as investment capital for her to generate her own passive income that we both can live on. i found work in latvia and worked there for over a year saving up money for wedding and what we needed down there. less than 3 years later, we now have a small house (5x7 m2), a pigfarm generating 200 dollars a month, we will be married in less than a month from now and I am 100 percent decided that i am going to move to the philippines and not look back to scandinavia for a looong while. by the way, the reason me and her can live on 200 dollars a month is because we dont pay any rent (since we own the house and land it stands on), and in abra the food is really cheap, plus we can grow some of the food ourselves. so despite us being a family of two adults and two kids from prev relationship, the total spending (inc internet and electricity) wouldnt exceed 150 dollars a month, so we practically save 25 percent of our profit to a reserve.
I would to add an emphatic "Amen" to your choice of Christian Filipina as the best site for meeting good Filipina. It actively checks to make sure the ladies there are the real deal and not fakes or scammers. As for me, I even had a phone interview at home the US. It's the most real deal a serious guy can use to find a good and genuine lady. I met many on the site. I met my wife and now we are living together in the Philippines after meeting in person in January 2020. COVID made developing our relationship difficult, but we persevered. I found my beautiful Cebuana on Filipino Cupid. There were a few scammers there but there but they are fairly easy to pick out. Overall it was a great experience and I ended up with a great partner.
I've used dating sites and apps for many years on and off and scammers can be pretty easy to spot with experience. ALWAYS do an image search of profile pictures - often you'll find they're fake or photoshopped (some alterations are REALLY GOOD). Another massive red flag is them asking for money very early on (or even later in a number of cases). Try and find out what they do for a job and where they work then search that location, company, etc. If you can use google earth to get a look at the street view, ask them to send you some photos of their home, workplace, etc (preferably with them in it). There's plenty more tips and tricks I've picked up over the years though, but at the core, trust your gut. If it seems too good, it probably is.

I use both Christian Filipina and PinaLove. Now ChristianFilipina is indeed recommended. I’m not a paid member yet but I think they called me 3 times already where we have been talking for at least half hour. I mean the owner or one of their team. First time when I opened my account and wanted to get to know me (as well sort of verification). Other times obviously to make me a paid member but not pushy at all. They really seemed more interested in helping/advising what to look out for. You mentioned the immigration service but what you may not know and is even more funny ….. If you are talking with a Filipina but you have doubts, you can contact the team and they will do anything they can to find out if she is genuine with her intentions. They could even call her, get some seemingly not noteworthy answers but can be verified with what she told the foreigner etc. They go pretty far with their research really. Then they will advise the foreigner after. Overall, they are expensive for foreigners but the money is put at the right place to keep the platform nice and clean.
Also is it complicated getting a passport in the Philippines the marriage process seems to be very difficult and it would be much easier to bring your head to Mexico and marry her all you need is a birth certificate and the passport
Depending on the age of the prospective lady, she will need her parents approval, plus you probably will have to throw some type of party, even before being engaged, if she is located in the philippines province that could be very difficult. It's just too much of a hassle to figure it all out.

I think the matches on dating sites are getting progressively worse since I first tried it in 2017. A lot of laziness in conversations or they just disappear due because they're no longer interested in you. In my opinion, I think you're better off just going to the Philippines and meeting women there.

I've personally have had good luck on Asian dating. I do have to say, the whole dating site thing can be stressful. A lot of broken hearts, and dreams on those sites. I've never used a dating app myself, and have no plans to do so. Nobody asked for my advice, but I'll give it anyway. If you're a westerner that's looking to meet a filipina, I think you shouldn't get impatient and use a dating site. Go there and meet someone....or go there and then use the apps. This way it's very hard to get scammed and you can immediately meet the girl and decide if she's for you. It seems pretty obvious you'll be able to find a filipina almost no matter what you look like, so don't get impatient....go to the Philippines.
One more tip. Once you've met someone you like and start a relationship. Ask her to close all her dating sites. If she won't, she's obviously still looking. If she does, you're looking good. I'd do a little snooping on the site to make sure she did also. Who wants to waste their time with a liar?

Its worth 40 bucks to find out someone was lying instead of getting your heart broke.
I'm pretty good at sniffing out a liar myself....in all walks of life. I live by the saying that actions speak louder than words. I think it would be much harder to tell if someone is lying from across a couple continents though. That's why I say go there first.

At that time, standard users could send msgs containing only 7 letters or something like that, kind of a tease to make you pay. But I managed to get her Skype, she sent it over a series of 5 or 6 msgs, and we started chatting there lol. Next month we'll have our 3 year anniversary. Salamat for the vid and advice…i would agree about Christian Filipina is looking for a serious long term relationship…but it can be expensive for some…met my first ldr on Facebook and had mutual friends here so thought i was safe…got scammed for two years until we met after the annulment…luckily figured out she was hiding a philipino bf…now have my second ldr found through fb friend…she vetted me as i did her lol…going to meet next month after two years of covid restrictions…she seems to be a good one with a wonderful family and kids…i set boundaries of no lying…cheating…or asking for money…saved me from a big mistake and this time hopefully works out so i dont recommend sites at all
Two comments:
1) On Christian Filipina, you get tons of emails for prayer sessions and the like. Also, you tend to get a lot less information than on other sites.
2) The notion that you can just fly into Manila or Cebu and walk the malls and get the best women in the Philippines is rather silly. Most of the successful Filipinas that I have worked with over the years are working six days a week and spending Sundays with their families. Dating sites are a good way of meeting people with your same values and goals.
Your words mean nothing if success means nothing to that person looking for love. 7 out of 10 times the better woman is struggling, compared to one who is already successful alone, and success doesn't mean everything to everyone. Love isn't based on success either my guess is you're actually just as single as I am right now.

I have an account with Christian Filipina but I have found a few cons. The premium membership is the highest of all the dating sites. Many of the women have kids. Many of the women were married or separated (same thing to me). Many had financial burdens like supporting relatives, putting brothers and sisters through school and so on. I made my account dormant because of these things.
As for Filipina Cupid, I had over 10 scammers contact me. As soon as the sad stories started, I reported them. They tried every sad tale in the book but I did not fall for any of those fish stories.
I let mine lapse but looks like I’ll start using it again. Covid messed everything up. But you’re exactly right it’s very salty in price.

I was approached by my Filipina 5yrs ago today on Facebook and I was talking to 7 women at that time and they all lived here in America. My girlfriend just won me over after we talked for several days I stopped talking to all the women except her. As the months went by during our LDR I had noticed she never once asked or hinted about wanting any money nor did she have a sad story about a family member needing anything. Then years went by and I was planning to go see her but in 2019 my father had a stroke and passed away. Then 2 months later my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer then the pandemic happened and through it all my Filipina was my rock. So after all of the bad things I had going on in my life I finally booked my trip and spent 33 days with her. We hit it off like we had been friends and lovers for years and I have to say that I hit the Filipina lottery with this girl. Be careful out there guys. You can find a great woman in the Philippines but just be careful
So glad you hit the jackpot. I did too. I was recovering from liver transplant surgery, and as you can imagine American women could not wait to end our dates. Then I used filipinocupid and wow. The differences were immediate. I have been over 4 times, and the only thing holding us up is her dad's poor health. And she has never asked for one penny.
@barryj3266 we intend to stay here in the Philippines. Make sure to always have money set aside for your medical services and you'll be fine as long as you don't have bad health issues. I love how cheap everything is here. Even going to Boracay is cheap as long as you let your Filipina book the flights and rooms cause they will charge foreigners double cause they think we're rich. My girl asked them why you charge him double I call the police and then they sat down and did it right and since then I let her deal with all the money here.

I met my fiancée purely by accident through badoo. She was looking to make friends in an entirely different country (New Zealand) and I was wanting somebody local as well as trying to find out what had happened to my previous girlfriend (she disappeared suddenly after breaking up with me via text - yes, she was also a filipina).
Anyway, the algorithm screwed up/got it right and introduced us because there was a similar place name within both of our areas (albeit different countries). Initial communications were slow, but soon picked up so we were video chatting at least an hour a day. Red flag number 1- constant excuses not to video chat. Red flag 2- asks for money. Red flag 3- doesn’t respond to text right away. You should know when someone is really into you, it’s obvious. Just be respectful, don’t start pushing for sexual things, be clean cut and have a job. Filipinas usually don’t like beards. Women from the Philippines love lots of attention and are very loving and affectionate. That’s it in a nutshell.

i was a swede working at norway in 2019 at a job i wanted to leave. my friend in gothenburg called me and more or less pitched me a dating group on facebook. "its time for you to get a soulmate". i told him i wasnt quite ready for a relationship let alone a whole family but he insisted, so i joined the group and after weeks of consideration i decided to upload a dating post saying i was looking for that special someone. little did i know that the vast mayority of the members there were from the philippines. i tried to avoid filipinas at all costs as i wasnt eager to go to the other side of the globe, but there was one filipina who wrote such a cute message to me that i could not ignore it, so i started chatting with her (alot) and three days later she asked me if i wanted to marry her. i kindly told her that i am very interested in her but that it was too early for me to know if i wanted to marry her. (3 days - i mean come on!). we kept chatting, i resigned from work and used saving to travel to her the same year for a 20 day visit, and i planned multiple shorter trips, but then the pandemic hit. so since then i sent her money, not so much financial support, but rather as investment capital for her to generate her own passive income that we both can live on. i found work in latvia and worked there for over a year saving up money for wedding and what we needed down there. less than 3 years later, we now have a small house (5x7 m2), a pigfarm generating 200 dollars a month, we will be married in less than a month from now and I am 100 percent decided that i am going to move to the philippines and not look back to scandinavia for a looong while.
by the way, the reason me and her can live on 200 dollars a month is because we dont pay any rent (since we own the house and land it stands on), and in abra the food is really cheap, plus we can grow some of the food ourselves.
so despite us being a family of two adults and two kids from prev relationship, the total spending (inc internet and electricity) wouldnt exceed 150 dollars a month, so we practically save 25 percent of our profit to a reserve.

I've used dating sites and apps for many years on and off and scammers can be pretty easy to spot with experience. ALWAYS do an image search of profile pictures - often you'll find they're fake or photoshopped (some alterations are REALLY GOOD).
Another massive red flag is them asking for money very early on (or even later in a number of cases).
Try and find out what they do for a job and where they work then search that location, company, etc. If you can use google earth to get a look at the street view, ask them to send you some photos of their home, workplace, etc (preferably with them in it).
There's plenty more tips and tricks I've picked up over the years though, but at the core, trust your gut. If it seems too good, it probably is.
I had to laugh at your last sentence. Too good you say. It would seem to me that any 60 or 70 year old guy that can get a 20 to 30 year old pretty Filipina would fit your "too good". 😆🤣😂

I have friends here in the US that used tinder and all I hear about from them is the hook ups it really turns me off ! But to each his or her own . I use both Christian Filipina and PinaLove. Now ChristianFilipina is indeed recommended. I’m not a paid member yet but I think they called me 3 times already where we have been talking for at least half hour. I mean the owner or one of their team. First time when I opened my account and wanted to get to know me (as well sort of verification). Other times obviously to make me a paid member but not pushy at all. They really seemed more interested in helping/advising what to look out for.
You mentioned the immigration service but what you may not know and is even more funny …..
If you are talking with a Filipina but you have doubts, you can contact the team and they will do anything they can to find out if she is genuine with her intentions. They could even call her, get some seemingly not noteworthy answers but can be verified with what she told the foreigner etc. They go pretty far with their research really. Then they will advise the foreigner after. Overall, they are expensive for foreigners but the money is put at the right place to keep the platform nice and clean.
Also is it complicated getting a passport in the Philippines the marriage process seems to be very difficult and it would be much easier to bring your head to Mexico and marry her all you need is a birth certificate and the passport

Depending on the age of the prospective lady, she will need her parents approval, plus you probably will have to throw some type of party, even before being engaged, if she is located in the philippines province that could be very difficult.

I think the matches on dating sites are getting progressively worse since I first tried it in 2017. A lot of laziness in conversations or they just disappear due because they're no longer interested in you. In my opinion, I think you're better off just going to the Philippines and meeting women there.

I've personally have had good luck on Asian dating. I do have to say, the whole dating site thing can be stressful. A lot of broken hearts, and dreams on those sites. All I can say is if you do decide to join one, and you do find a woman, make absolutely sure you are ready for the long wait, and are financially secure enough, to make things happen. Make sure you are eligible to petition a woman for a visa. Look all that stuff up, evaluate your personal situation, and if everything checks out, may you, and yours have a wonderful life together.
