  • Clips from a video I have made of the NC500 Inverness to Glen Torridon, I filmed part of it in September, but couldn't get parked at many of the beauty spots and all campsites and B&Bs were full so I abandoned my trip.
I returned in October but a month in the Highlands at that time of year creates a marked change in the scenery as you will see from the clips.

Absolutely adore these videos as I think there is no place in the world as beautiful and addictive as Scotland. My partner and I have been coming to the highlands for twenty years and don't want to go anywhere else. Thank you so much

HI Andy ,just finished watching all your UA-cam vids, stunning stuff and a much needed breath of fresh air in these hard times, i know many of the places you have visited and they have given myself and my wife some great memories of our regular visits to the west coast of scotland and in particular Lochaber . Well done Andy 👍

Love your videos so informative with breathtaking scenery. We were up at Glencoe for ten days in August, great weather and also noticed the vast increase in tourists, a lot more people will now realise how beautiful Scotland is.

Wow, just like the buses, you wait for one and two come at the same time, Another wonderful video Andy, I've been all over the highlands now but I'm still yet to drive the Applecross road, that's definitely my next plan if Nicola Sturgeon let's the English in again. Ha ha !

Hope you are allowed back up soon and If you enjoy the Bealach na Bo and the Applecross Coastal Road you must try the Bealach na Goaithe from Fasaig to Diabaig its not as high but just as exciting and the scenery is breath taking. The villages in the south of Applecross are also worth visiting.

Yes I was up in September and I drove the road from Torridon to Lower Diabaig, I've driven there twice now, it's my wife's favourite place in the world, You definitely keep your eyes wide open and both hands on the steering wheel on that road.

I am from Norway and would like to rent a place for at least a month in Scotland with beautiful scenery and nice hiking paths. Going to focus on my writing, and I've always had a thing for the British isles. Any tips? both on were, and how to do it cheaply?
