In one of my next videos, I will playthrough the SEGA version. But, since I played all my childhood - using three button controls. :D Until the time when emulators appeared - I could not even imagine, the game has 6-button control. I didn’t know about it all my childhood. That's why I play this game so well. My first pirate console didn't recognize the 6-button controls in Comix Zone for some reason. However, everything worked correctly in other games. Stay tuned! :)
played the demo of this game, for some reason my pc had only 16 colors support (no video driver for trident) but when i run comix zone the game show me a warning and converted my pc to 256 (VGA) colors until closing the game again.. old 90's
The PC version has better quality voices than the Genesis version, which I appreciate. Not that Genesis version has bad voices, it's just the voice samples in the Genesis version are a little more gargled and distorted.
@@big-wade that sound chip isn't even made by sega. it's from yamaha. that's what they used for the actual keyboards like the dx7. maybe someone could sample those sounds in the snes sound tracker.
Oh I thought the pc version would have proper transparent shadows. But looks like we have to play both versions on composite cables to get transparancy.
@@AspirinCowboyHey there! Actually you can play it natively on Windows 10. You just have to add wing32.dll (necessary library like directx in this days) to ur windows\system32\ folder. Be sure that wing32 is for nt os, cause there was different versions of that library. And "Your kung-fu is good" !
Nope, it's little known version of the game... even in fan groups. No idea why, but it's the best version of Comix Zone, I ever complete. :) I play it on Windows 95 emulator.

@@scm64entertainment44 yeah i am familiar with the ym2612 lol. you could try to sample it but the actual synthesis will always be noticeably better

@@AspirinCowboy Is it possible to run the game natively on windows 10? Running it via windows 95 emulated on dosbox makes it run at 20-30 fps.
@@RiasatSalminSami No you can't. Even on XP it does not work properly. The emulator is the only way for this version.
