The BEST Springtime Bait For Lake Keowee?

- This is one of the videos that I made on Lake Keowee and waited awhile to make because I had tournament videos I had to put together. There were a lot of fish on beds and a lot of fish that were still prespawn with some postspawn fish mixed in. The water temps were in the mid 60's. I caught all of the fish in 15ft or less of water. I started out bed fishing with the senko but ended up catching a lot on the shady side of docks. I think the senko is a really versatile bait to use on keowee in the spring and might be the best you can through most days. Let me know what you think and subscribe to the channel. Never caught a single bass in keowee after 2 years of fishing it.
Throw a senko at enough docks and you’ll catch one.

Nice job man! What size line were you using? Never fished keowee before and gonna hit it in a couple weeks. Tight lines.
I was using 10lb. I try to use pretty lite line there. The water is pretty clear on most of the lake.
Green pumpkin? Texas rig ?
I like green pumpkin but they will bite a lot of others. I used a wacky rig a lot. You can catch them with a texas rig too though.
What other kind of fish are in the lake ? Are there carp too ? ?
I wouldn’t doubt there are some carp. There’s largemouth and smallmouth in there too.
