Fattori Xx What else is someone whose entire channel is about narrating gameplay supposed to do?? If you want silent LPs, that’s not MATN, why are you here.
As a security guard by trade, I found the first hiring of a police officer to be particularly depressing... Don't care about the mood, and how little can we get away with paying him. :P
Watching Jon with any kind of tycoon or simulation game, I can tell he’s fully indoctrinated into the European tendency to have horribly few bathrooms of horrifically few stalls. Especially in crowded public places where more bathrooms would really come to handy.
Well you could be right of course however I think it's very unlikely. Fallout has always been once a week on sundays on this channel. (Atleast for a very long time now). I don't think this will change now, I just think he meant to say this is not going to be a very long series (but still every sunday)
Good grief. I played this months ago, the day 1 version of the game was terrible. Really terrible. But they upgraded the game pretty quickly and sorted out the majority of the bugs. The day 1 release had SO MANY DEAD PEOPLE. I think at one point I had 5 or 6 dead people in my station in one single in-game day.
For a team of 3 people it looks like they have done an admiral job on this game. However, I'm going to have to consider it a failure if you can't pick up guests and drop them on the train tracks or streets to get them run over.
"We are servicing more and more people" What kind of station is this?!? "Now we're servicing a bit more on the national front" The national front? Screw those guys!
As a fan of simulator games, I'm looking forward to when Jon inevitably plays Two Point Hospital, whenever it comes out. I used to love Theme Hospital.
Graphically, the playfield looks almost completely like the old Transport Tycoon DeLuxe.... with people added. Although the objective of that venerable game was to build out a transport infrastructure, not just train stations.
Jon the absolute love of my childhood life was Zoo Tycoon 2. It's the standard to which I compare every single simulation game and its never failed to this day to remain impressive! I'd LOVE to see a video of it if you could get ahold of it.
No, my number is quite accurate. $200,000 from 1970 IS equivalent to $1,296,845.36 in today's dollars. There has been a cumulative rate of inflation of 548.4%.
Hey Jon, I don't mind the simulation games, I quite like them actually, but I'd like to see a new series like continuing the new Fallout 4 Mod. Really like the RPG and strategy games. Love the channel!
This is an extremely misleading title and I'm sorely disappointed in you. I watched for almost 25 minutes and there were no tips on how to train my station!
200k in 1970 was a lot of money, but not enough to buy a private island. Adjusted for inflation, it's about 1,300,000 dollars. Which would be nice to have. And also have you ever played New Vegas bounties?
That moment you realize that the yellow lines don't match. Very professional John ;) Oh and having the yellow lines oh the inside reminds me of a small station called Wiltshire.... I since some John tomfoolery going on here ;)
Are you ever going to do a video on Plague Inc? I can see how it wouldn't be the most exciting game to make a video out of but then again you did make a video on Mountain which as said isn't even really a game. I'd like to see what virus names you come up with.
I thought I was the only one who noticed that. The second train is a Siemens Desiro which was first introduced in 1999. The devs really should do their homework.
Unrelated to the video, but, after all experience Tim Football has brought to Oxford, how does our favorite carton of eggs evaluate England's debut on the world cup?
if we're getting ultra nerdy, technically it should be railway station simulator... also have you played lego loco? it's an honestly glorious railway-building lego pc game (and my childhood)
same difference really..........well, technically a terminal usually indicate a place for people to board planes while for a train it's called station no matter how big either terminal or the station is^^"
sooooo, are you saying that every place i know where the start and end that is called X-station is wrong?, i mean, i have never in my entire live of traveling all kinds of places seen anyone anywhere call the start or end of the line as anything but a station, heck, go to google maps and write in terminal and the only thing you get up is airport ones, or if you try add train to the search it only shows trains going near airport terminals, also, even if you are indeed correct, that is not what people think of when they hear the word, for most people terminal is a place you go to for flights and stations are places you go to for train, thus it is the correct word to use generally to avoid confusion for normal people regardless what it possible might technically be called..... if i mention football in US instead of soccer then while it's still technically correct people will not think of soccer but the US one, which is why tjey call football in US for soccer instead of football to avoid confusion regardless if football is also the correct word....
'I should take the money and go buy a private island somewhere...'
Jon. Jon? That's called embezzlement, Jon.
We now learn that Jon's last name is hammond, and he ran a flea circus
Always love it when you play simulators.
Youd rather watch videos in silence, its called dead air not what a good commentator allows to happen, jesus read a book
Fattori Xx What else is someone whose entire channel is about narrating gameplay supposed to do?? If you want silent LPs, that’s not MATN, why are you here.
Cleany Person gets paid 400 bucks for 10 hours of work. Policeman gets paid 250 bucks for 12 hours. RIP!
as it should be. acab
Oi thats rude! I would be a cop at Jons Train station!
For $96,000 p.a. in 1970, I reckon I'd be a cleaner.
As a security guard by trade, I found the first hiring of a police officer to be particularly depressing... Don't care about the mood, and how little can we get away with paying him. :P
"have you guessed that I like this game"
Yes jon, we kinda guessed.
Love a seeing a fellow nerd geeking out, good to see I'm not the only one
Watching Jon with any kind of tycoon or simulation game, I can tell he’s fully indoctrinated into the European tendency to have horribly few bathrooms of horrifically few stalls. Especially in crowded public places where more bathrooms would really come to handy.
But are the Trains on time? These are the burning questions Jon
Thank you for this great review of Train Station Simulator! :)
Oh god this title...
Bing bong... the train is now departing non-stop to Rollercoaster Tycoon 2. 1st class pun costs extra.
I think you should play it some more. It's quite relaxing.
You are a monster Jon. Do not cut corners from your employees' salaries.
Trivia: Midnight, January 1 1970 is the "zero time" of most modern operating systems.
Pushing nerdiness to new heights!
I don't know why, but I'm very excited about you designing a train station.
i have had this game for ages, i love it, was top in leader boards for a while then went down.
I love When you play simulators, you’ve quickly become one of favorite youtubers. I’m waiting patiently for Autumn leaves and Vampyr
I can't tell you how much I was looking forward to another episode of FNV Autumn leaves....
Jon's Fallout series are always on sundays. So you need to wait another week.
burntbybrighteyes no
burntbybrighteyes This isn't a full series he said 7-8 hour miniseries which I assumed would be during this week.
Well you could be right of course however I think it's very unlikely. Fallout has always been once a week on sundays on this channel. (Atleast for a very long time now). I don't think this will change now, I just think he meant to say this is not going to be a very long series (but still every sunday)

+The Geek Cupboard Well a lot of people think taking public transport will kill them...
That is true, I just wasn't expecting them to drop dead right there and then on the floor.
The Geek Cupboard Well, at least they were making their feelings apparent...
YES. I will ALWAYS be up for a good management simulator.
You should check out openttd to play in your spare time it's a fantastic game
Seems simple but it is a really complex and fascinating game! :)
Thank you for the awesome title
I'm impatiently waiting for Sofa Simulator.
As a fan of simulator games, I'm looking forward to when Jon inevitably plays Two Point Hospital, whenever it comes out. I used to love Theme Hospital.
Butch, Tunnel Snakes Rule!
Graphically, the playfield looks almost completely like the old Transport Tycoon DeLuxe.... with people added. Although the objective of that venerable game was to build out a transport infrastructure, not just train stations.
The first ticket(token) machine dates back to aincent greece
holy shit you're not joking
Couldn't get into this. Even with my love of trains this just didn't tick my box.
Its cool, but I prefer Transport Fever.
I wish I could play other transport sims, but I'm not allowed since I sold my everlasting soul to OpenTTD :(
Please carry this on!
Jon the absolute love of my childhood life was Zoo Tycoon 2. It's the standard to which I compare every single simulation game and its never failed to this day to remain impressive! I'd LOVE to see a video of it if you could get ahold of it.
oh god
is this gonna be the next Airport CEO all over again
this is gonna be the next Airport CEO all over again, isn't it
I've seen so many games lately that remind me of the original Sims and Zoo Tycoon style builders. I really kind of love it. :)
There is many a true nerd on this channel
Had my eye on this myself, would like to see a potential miniseries.
oooh, those isometric square grids are so RCT makes me feel good.
Nah. $200k in 1970 dollars isn't really that much - it's only $1,296,845.36 in today's dollars.
ogrejd Ah, I see you're a man of googling the answer to prove Jon wrong as well. (I did toooooo)
You where off by about 3 zeros though, also a 15 fold increase seems like a quite a bit to me.
No, my number is quite accurate. $200,000 from 1970 IS equivalent to $1,296,845.36 in today's dollars. There has been a cumulative rate of inflation of 548.4%.
ogrejd Realised my mistake. Oops
Thank, you, I have this on my wishlist... nice to see it in the real...
Hey Jon, I don't mind the simulation games, I quite like them actually, but I'd like to see a new series like continuing the new Fallout 4 Mod. Really like the RPG and strategy games. Love the channel!
This sim is oddly satisfying to me, must be *capitalism*
- Blur - I don’t know why but this is the funniest fucking comment to me.
M W : Thanks m8, I appreciate it lol
this comment is oddly aggravating to me
Fully Automated Luxury Gay Space Communism : Well, you can’t win them all can ya? Lol
I bet the toilets in this station do in no way resemble the Trainspotting toilet.
props for title
Love the title of this video :)
When he talks about the bathroom and never adds more bathrooms >.>
I like the late 90's early 2000's style of graphics
This is an extremely misleading title and I'm sorely disappointed in you. I watched for almost 25 minutes and there were no tips on how to train my station!
Loved it. would like another episode
This was fun
Take a shot every time Jon says Ticket Machines.
200k in 1970 was a lot of money, but not enough to buy a private island. Adjusted for inflation, it's about 1,300,000 dollars. Which would be nice to have. And also have you ever played New Vegas bounties?
109! getting closer to that number 1every day
I've had a massively bad day at work, with drunken idiots only making it worse. This is exactly what I wanted to come home to, thank you.
SERIES!!
That moment you realize that the yellow lines don't match. Very professional John ;)
Oh and having the yellow lines oh the inside reminds me of a small station called Wiltshire.... I since some John tomfoolery going on here ;)
I haven't watched the video yet, but I still know I want a Livestream
Can you please make some more of this game I like it and probably other people will too.
can you get points rather than building track to edge of screen?
Are you ever going to do a video on Plague Inc? I can see how it wouldn't be the most exciting game to make a video out of but then again you did make a video on Mountain which as said isn't even really a game.
I'd like to see what virus names you come up with.
Jon you should play Ostalgie: The Berlin Wall. It's a really interesting game kind of like Crisis in the Kremlin.
Modern day train in 1970? (Second train to arrive)
Edit: steam train followed by an ICE in America, there goes my emersion
I thought I was the only one who noticed that.
The second train is a Siemens Desiro which was first introduced in 1999.
The devs really should do their homework.
I like trains *train noises*
Unrelated to the video, but, after all experience Tim Football has brought to Oxford, how does our favorite carton of eggs evaluate England's debut on the world cup?
Jon: (shouting) That's sexy!
Claire: (thinking) Please let him be watching porn and not playing that bloody train station game again.
Since Thomas had a cat named hairy potter maybe Emily has a cat called Ali, for ally cat
James Renouf are you from Jersey, you have a local surname
EVERSMAN42 no, I'm from Wiltshire in England, but I'm glad to hear that others have the same last name!
James Renouf oh heck I'm also a Wiltshire person
James Renouf close to Chippenham
Please do more
if we're getting ultra nerdy, technically it should be railway station simulator...
also have you played lego loco? it's an honestly glorious railway-building lego pc game (and my childhood)
Now play zoo tycoon complete collection please. There are cheat codes for unicorns!
Butch clearly has the bloody mess perk
If those people are teleporting to the train station, why wouldn't they just teleport to their destination? 🤣
Does clair know your sneaking away to get your intense relaxation from a train game? :D
JOHN. YES
Jon will you be uploading Vampyr tomorrow? Im hooooooooooked
You are British
Getting excited at a train game
This game is so unrealistic. Nobody sprints for the trains. :P
See, British railways are the opposite: the more miserable the passengers the more expensive the train!
cool video love your fallout out stuff the most but do watch your other videos
I like trains
Jon, are you going to play Bus Simulator 2018?
*STAAAAAAY-SHUUUUUUUUN*
I see a new live stream! Lol
C'mon jon, play railroad tycoon 3!
should I be that guy and point out that this is not a station simulator, but a terminal simulator?
same difference really..........well, technically a terminal usually indicate a place for people to board planes while for a train it's called station no matter how big either terminal or the station is^^"
No. Terminals are the end of the line. a station is along the line.
sooooo, are you saying that every place i know where the start and end that is called X-station is wrong?, i mean, i have never in my entire live of traveling all kinds of places seen anyone anywhere call the start or end of the line as anything but a station,
heck, go to google maps and write in terminal and the only thing you get up is airport ones, or if you try add train to the search it only shows trains going near airport terminals, also, even if you are indeed correct, that is not what people think of when they hear the word, for most people terminal is a place you go to for flights and stations are places you go to for train, thus it is the correct word to use generally to avoid confusion for normal people regardless what it possible might technically be called.....
if i mention football in US instead of soccer then while it's still technically correct people will not think of soccer but the US one, which is why tjey call football in US for soccer instead of football to avoid confusion regardless if football is also the correct word....
Vampyr??
so happy they pay more....
no, no that doesn't make sense actually....lol
Trainspotting
trolley bus not tram
Pun-y title hurting me X_x
Dang it, I am early. I hate it when I am early. There is only 22 comments and none of the funniest people are here yet.
Geek Cupboard did this a while back.
oof, Never been this early
That UI looks absolutely atrocious
Try Chris Sawyer's Locomotion...
