Hey Man, great videos, RE: auto air assist, all 22watt and 33watt main boards come with an outlet socket for the air assist, all you need is a solid state relay, plug into that socket with the correct kinda plug, take plus to plus and negative to negative etc, and use the solid state relay to interrupt the 110v feeding the air pump. I hope that makes sense 😂
hi, nice video, but how configure the CAM500 with the area extension kit?. the cutting area is 950*410 and the cam image is in the middle of this area. how i can bring the image below? origin 0,0? tx in advance
Nice! Still have this on my list to give a try. Like the slick design and way it's mounted to the extrusion. I was really hoping you would also turn off the fade option so I could see the actual image quality 😉
Curious, i have the sculpfun with the 900x900 bed extension and have been looking for a camera. This one isn't supported unfortunately. From your experience, is there a certain type of camera i should be looking at? Should i get an 8k regular camera or some sort of fish-eye 120 degree? also, i'll be building an enclosure for it so wondering on approximate height i'd need (I have up to 15 foot cleanings lmao).
This is what I run in all my enclosures with really good results. I also have a mounting system for lasers and 3d printed version in my etsy shop. amzn.to/3MIXbS5
Enjoyed the video. It haven’t installed my camera yet. I’d like to buy the files for the jigs in this video. Didn’t see them in Etsy. Could you point me in the right direction?
I was helped and pointed to your channel by vintauri to check this camera out. Trying to decide on this one vs Comgrow vs atomstack. Any help as you are my tie breaker. No pressure and thank you for your time and insight.
The image quality of this one and the Atomstack are similar. This one has fewer joints to require adjustment and the frame is more solid for consistency. The only negative is that you have no tilt adjustment, that isn’t an issue if properly mounted on the machine. For standard square machines, it is a good choice
Budget dictates but this one would work if it isn't extended. I use board cameras in my built enclosures. Each need is unique, I run fish eye cameras because I have extended machines
@@TheClackShack i got the ultra and bought the camera after watching this video because im having doubts that it will see the whole 600x600. Just finished installing the cam500. Unfortunately it cant see the whole 600x600 like you said. The center of the camera and the working space is short 9cm.
Crappy calibration method, they should automate the calibration to a nonlinear grid.... Then it would be spot on for entire camera view as long as you use the same material height.
After searching in several videos, finally this charitable soul explained what no other has done it.. 12:03 from the bottom of my heart . Thank you
Very welcome
Very nice video~ Thank you so much for your support!
💥
Thank you too
super! ty
Welcome
Recently received the camera and really like it. Neat design and works very accurate.
I agree. Good build
I have come over from Cog Hill. I am looking forward to seeing more of your channel.
Thanks for coming
I need to learn this.looks like it will make things easier.
It does

I know I have seen it in several but I don’t know that the beverage person could tackle the wiring. Good to know though

I haven't tried it with the extension kit. That may be more than it can handle. I use fisheye cameras on my extended machines.

Look at the small screen on the right
@@TheClackShack I know, but was hoping for the main screen 😁

@@TheClackShack Purchased. Thanks!
Your more than welcome.
Thanks
Would this be compatible if im using a algo laser?
The camera comes with several mounting options. The camera will work as long as the mounting will work, I haven't tried it on an algo.

Haven’t uploaded them yet. Stay tuned
Do you have to have limit switches on your machine for this to work?
It is not required. You just have to have the HOME or ORIGIN in the same spot everytime. You can move it by hand and place when starting a job.
@@TheClackShack thank you!
Would you be able to attach the camera to the XTool D1 as it has no rails...?
I tested it on my D1 and yes, it works if you use the C clamp they provide.
