Dr Moore features Ossio 3 5mm screw for Austin bunionectomy surgery

The austin bunionectomy has been around for decades, but fixation (screw, staple, k-wire, etc.) may have to be removed in some cases. Metal implants have been the norm or over a century, but now there is a natural product produced with real bone from the surgical company, Ossio (www.ossio.io). In this video the normal chevron osteotomy is performed, but the patient wanted something that would absorb over time and avoid the metal implant.
