Hi Kathy, you can use the the multi-purpose cable brackets for aluminum surfaces. You will have to use a self tapping screw appropriate for aluminum or sheet metal.
This can be a little tricky depending on the design of the building and where the trees are obstructing. Please take photos of the areas you are having problems with and forward to our customer support team at nobirds@birdbgone.com. Our team will assess the situation and help come up with the best possible solution. We look forward to helping!
Hello Zac, the Multi-purpose cable brackets have a Hilti-pin attached to the bracket. This allows the bracket to be shot directly into the steel beams. You can find our Multi-purpose brackets with Hilti-pins available here (www.birdbgone.com/multi-purpose-cable-bracket/)

Great question! Pigeons, seagulls, and other larger bird species will be able to land on top of 3/4” mesh netting if the net is installed horizontally flat across top of a building or an opening. To prevent this activity, you will need to use 2” mesh netting, as their feet and nesting material will pass through the 2” mesh square openings. If possible, use posts or support poles to create a tent shape to prevent birds from landing on the net. We do not recommend installing 3/4” mesh netting on top of structures as snow can accumulate and weigh down the structure. If you have to install 3/4” netting at an angle, we recommend at least a 45-degree sloped angle or greater to prevent birds from gaining stable footing. Large nesting bird populations may require reduction methods such as trapping to eliminate birds that are remaining in the area after the net has been installed.
