Hey there! Robin here of Robin & Peter. So glad you guys enjoyed this movie! Super cool of you to mention Peters dad. He passed away from cancer last spring, he would have gotten a kick out of you guys having fun watching this movie. He did the motorcycle stunts & he was the guy that got set on fire. We’ll try to find some more of his movies to send you guys😁
I could have been a kumite champion, but none of my stupid friends managed to die at the hands of an evil martial artist so I could go on a revenge quest.
You're better off, that happened to my second cousin and he didn't make it through the kumite itself. He got a nasty strain of athletes foot from the carpeted locker room that left him braindead for life :(
The first time I met Gary back in 1995, I asked him about this movie, and about the very similar "Capital Punishment", which he made before "American Streetfighter". He said "You've seen those? And you still wanted to meet me?". I think his first movie, the Philippino war movie "Final Reprisal", is on UA-cam.
And this is why Dolph Ziggler never was a prime time player. As talented as he was in the ring, he made everyone he went against look like a million bucks.
First 5 minutes of a Karate movie: "Remember, Karate is only for self-defense. It should never ever be used gratuitously. and only as your last resort." Next 90 minutes: Wall to wall ass kicking and bone breaking.

Gerald Okamura along other stars like Al Leong and James Lew and M.H. and so on should be preserved in the Library of Congress as international treasures.
You need to see him in the Sidaris flick 'Day Of The Warrior'. Not only does he play a good guy for once, but he's an Elvis impersonator and gets knocked out by Julie Strain's bewbs.
The following year after this movie, Gary Daniels plays a henchman in a terrible Jackie Chan movie called City Hunter. During their fight scene they fight dressed up as Street Fighter characters, Gary is Ken and Jackie Chan is Chun Li. Jackie Chan is on record hating the movie, he apparently did the movie as a favor to a friend LOL.
Fun fact, the first films that Gary Daniels actually starred in were The Secret of King Mahi's Island (1988) and Final Reprisal (1988). I believe American Streetfighter is the 7th or 8th movie he did.
My dad had over 50 of those collector plates, all of wildlife. I'm right there with you Jason. I have well over 1k blurays and maybe 100 dvds.. but I try to collect 'good' movies 😉
I have about 1,350 movies, but I only collect those I'd like to watch again sometime, or that have a special significance. Even digitally stored I wouldn't have enough for all the movies I've seen.
7am in Alaska, coffee and dabs ready to go, LET'S DO THIS!!!! Hey, for future reference, when you get around to watching one of my movies (hinthint nudgenudge), could you release the video on a Sunday? That's something I'd love to enjoy first-thing in the day!!! ON WIT DA FUN
The fringes on the jacket as far as I understand are for wicking water off when it rains. At least that's what I learned in my old west elective I took in 7th grade.
In the desolation of Carlsbad canyons ,the smell of old tuna wafted through the air. The rusted remains of Chicken of the Sea littering the path between boulders. The low echoing of "ahhhhhhhhhh" violated the serene night. The sudden overwhelming smell of onions confirmed his worst fear. The Breen was near....
An early 2000's Mercedes sits lifeless, abandoned in the powdered sugar-like dirt of the desert. The charcoaled husk sits abandoned by the neon green road sign that sits still, emotionless, just like Breen himself, and reads, "Las Vegas 55 miles." Along one of the ebony hued doors, in beet red, finger painted lettering reads the words, "Help Me!" The sky is high, cloudless, and as blue as the eyes of the 17 year old model that has a crush on the septuagenarian, and way off in the distance you can overhear the faint cries of, "Who am I? What am I?!"
For top notch Gary Daniels Cold Harvest it co stars Barbara Crampton & its awesome. We were robbed of a Streets of Rage movie in the 90s Gary Daniels as Axel Cynthia Rothrock as Blaze & Ultimate Warrior as Max 😂😂😂 P.S theres two more of these but Gary Daniels isnt in either.
I can see Gary Daniels shouting "BARE KNUCKLE" as his fists catch on fire and it breaks my heart that it never happened. Abadede was clearly meant to be Ultimate Warrior though.
Thank you to Jason and the gang for all the years of foolishness! I am celebrating 250 weeks of my live show and I have been watching SO BAD IT'S GOOD while getting my news together for many of nearly 5 years I have been doing this. Thank you for being a steady and entertaining part of my weekly work routine. Much respect!
K. Y. Lim also produced "Future War" with Daniel Bernhardt. He also produced Gary's film before this one, "Capital Punishment," which co-starred David Carradine! It also has Tadashi Yamashita, who was the main Ninja villain in "American Ninja" and was one of the trainers in Gymkata. He was also in Cage 2. You need to make a 6 Degrees of SBIG game.
With those short sleeves during the sword fight at the end, Gary Daniels is dressed like a Mormon which is funny because with his facial expressions, he often reminds me of Trey Parker who seems very fixated on Mormons himself.
Gary Daniels' hair in this film makes me think he would have been a hilarious casting choice for He-Man. Dolph Lundgren was great but the world needs Gary as kickboxing He-Man!
I know when I took part in my last Kumite, the cardboard boxes strewn around constituted a major fire safety violation…health and safety is not a priority at a Kumite 🤷♂️
@@JasonBrant - Looks like ‘Capital Punishment’ (1991) was GD’s first starring role. I’ve seen both and ‘American Streetfighter’ (1992) is more ridiculous.

Jason did you know James Lew was once in a movie directed by the director of Miami Connection? It's called L.A. Streetfighter, or Ninja Turf. He's a pretty major character in it, too.
You thought correctly. It’s uncomfortable, tiring, and hard to steer. I have no idea what they’re trying to prove. ..aaaand that was *not* the same bike on the floor as was ridden through the “wall”.

And you wasted all that time pile driving your nephew/son/little brother in the front yard.
Just tell people you are and write a book full of ridiculous stories about being a CIA special ops agent. You'll be filthy rich.
It's always something...

Bad luck

You should have asked him about "Dancin' It's On!" and how his kitty was....
Uncle Gerald Okamura, Al Leong and James Lew are the golden trifecta of ultimate henchman. Nobody henches like those 3 hench.

Nope. It's impossible.
I bet those bars struggle with their liability insurance providers 😅🥂😵💫🏆

Was there a bar fight in "Ryan's Babe"? I think Ryan was just drugged and raped, which he was weirdly okay with.

Lost his first fight to an Antenna. Guess he is not invited to the reception.
As a soon to be father, this is the kind of dad joke comedian I aspire to be! 🙏🏾👍🏾💪🏾
Gerald Okamura along other stars like Al Leong and James Lew and M.H. and so on should be preserved in the Library of Congress as international treasures.
Absolutely.
My all-time favorite role of Gerald Okamura is the ref of kickboxing match between Charlie Sheen and James Lew in Hot Shots Part Deux
I haven't seen that since I was a kid. Need to revisit it.

Randy in this is the main bad guy in kickboxer 3. He was epic in that movie.

That was a plot of an X Files episode. But instead of an underground fight, it was underground Chinese gambling.

"Grandpa Nick taught me all the moves. He says I'm hot". Sorry Billy, those two sentences are referring to completely different topics.
