Knocking it out of the park as usual, with all the coverage. Im over here just patiently waiting for my kizer feweed, but i love that they made a ti mini iridium ❤. The ti iridium reg. sadly was a short run
MC, I'm gonna name my kids "Sheepsfoot", "Wharncliffe", etc. and bring them to meet you, then I'm gonna get really offended when you get their names wrong
I love my D2 mini iridium its kershaw quality!😫 I can only imagine how the magna cut one feels? God dang it MC your adding to my wish list that i already don’t have money for!!! 😂😂 much love my guy keep up the work ❤️
Looks like the blade of the auto has a more generous sharpening choil and better jimping. I've been wanting a new launch and was turned off by the iridium being Chinese so this has been ordered. I do wish Kershaw had the balls to try a duralock auto. I miss my Benchmade Presidio auto. Surprisingly, ESEE is the only company to attempt a crossbar lock auto with the avispa and zancudo.
hey @metal_complex! by any chance could you please share the name of the carrying case you have that you store your knives in? it's the nicest one I've seen and id like to obtain one! thanks!
Personally I dont understand the fixation with auto's my first real knife as a hobbyist was a Kershaw Emerson Wave model because I wanted to be ready and I dont carry a firearm. The Wave is way faster than any auto. I still love that knife but it is my least carried at this point. Now i enjoy the manual deployment, the dexterity, the "THWACK" or satisfaction/cool factor of casually pulling my knife from my pocket and deploying it in one motion... For context one one of my favorites is still the Civivi Vision FG and i still use the thumb stud fof deployment 90% of the time instead of the super lock because a reverse flick is so satisfying. Maybe I'm old school but it makes me feel like learning to drive and how satisfying it was to smoothly switch gears for the first time. An automatic car may be much faster but no where near as satisfying as a manual.
Just to say a sincere thank you M_C! Your videos inspired me to truly become an enthusiest and collector, which continues to be a simple added source of happiness in my life. Your videos are concise, informative, consistent and honest, and I'm always excited to see a new post. Thank you for what you do for the community. Maybe one day you could drop a video on how one goes about explaining to their partner why they bought another knife when they have collection worth the MSRP of a new german car 😂. In all seriousness, have great respect for the passion and dedication you share with all of us. Hope you hit 1M soon! Best wishes.
This is pretty damn cool, but I'd really like a regular Iridium in premium steel. Maybe not Magnacut but S35/S45 would be cool. Maybe also do a button lock or button liner lock version.
KAI has essentially put ZT in the back of the bus... all funding over the last few years has obviously been funneled to Kershaw. They should just shut down ZT and focus purely on Kershaw... and I am a huge fan of the OG ZT line... as with politics, follow the money...
@@metal_complex I would bet they are getting more revenue from Kershaw, I have no idea why they are still financing ZT unless... there is a brother in law or redheaded step child doing the in house designs... it makes no sense to rational buyers who bought and put ZT on the map in the first place, we'll see...
In what country are you allowed to carry a 3" auto? I want to move there. The country of california doesn't allow it. Punishable by 50,000 fine and 25 years in prison, which is wild because murder will only get you 10.

Thanks man,ive been waiting for your review since it drop out, absolutely worth the money. My favourite launch model so far!
I picked one up at GP Knives yesterday. Kershaw is the best value in US made autos.

Reverse tanto is gonna be handful
Thanks
The Iridium is one of the few Kershaws I've been tempted to buy. The new auto is an interesting twist.
Thanks for the info. Bel-air or Launch Iridium. Both are magnacut blades.

I'd like to see how the iridium launch compares to the launch 18
Honestly surprised they haven't made a Blur auto. THAT would be pretty damn sick.
That is one sweet knife!

Iridium…I KNEW IT!
Need it need it need it
If only they would do this with the Leek. We need an auto Leek!!!
9.8 on the slap

Next pocket knife is the Redemption 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Very cool! USA
Launch line is USA you should know this
Missouri has no blade restriction laws only follow the federal rule on switchblades whic
Everyone else uploaded 2 days earlier . Side opening auto's just don't do anything for me. Good materials for the price though.
Kershaw needs to calm down! My wishlist is too long already

ZT must make some money. Otherwise they would have done it. Guess we won't know for sure until it happens

@@bubbapeppers4354oh absolutely. That'd be my guess too
I love Kershaw, and after learning more about different steels, I’m extremely disappointed.

Come to a free state. We can carry anything in TN
Kansas
No auto knives in NJ, probably NY also. But legal just about everywhere else.
Move to Florida. We can carry autos
Here in Arizona, we have no length or type of knife restriction laws.
😁1st once again MC !!
