Box Opening! A New Part for Our IROC Z28 3RDgen Camaro!

We received a new performance part for our #IROCdaily project car! It's time to open the box and see what we received from Holley Performance!
We open the box and find our new WEIAND (pronounced "Why" "and") performance aluminum water pump to replace the leaking original cast iron water pump. It will perform better than stock and also save a little bit of weight. The lighter, the better!
Weiand is a Holley Performance brand company. We're happy to use their products on our project car.

I’m doing the water pump too. Started as just injectors but has expanded & now the intake is off as well to fix oil leaks in the front & back of it. What do you think of doing any porting while I have the intake off on a stocker?

These jobs can definitely snowball. 👍 The biggest limiting factor is the inner diameter of the tubing on the runners. Unless you’re installing larger aftermarket tubes, you’re not going to notice big power increases by porting the intake. It’s probably more advantageous to get the car back together from this point.
