Watching how wheelie prone it is, it reminds me of the time I got to take a few laps on a TZ-750 back in my Road Race days in '74/'75. My race bike was a TZ350, which was underpowered against 500's or 750's, but after not being able to keep the rear tire from leaving long black marks or keep the front tire down on the TZ750 I thought to myself, yep this one has enough power!

My gosh if the ktm is considered stiff with the steel frame the aluminum bikes must be like riding an I beam. This is based on the comments made during the mx races that the steel bikes are already less rigid than the aluminum bikes.
Doesn't matter steel or aluminum, the 23's were rigid feeling (had a few) and a KX or YZ frame is way more compliant less edgy. I rode back to back the old 22 KTM frame and the 23 frame (15 hrs break in) on the trails and was blown away at how edgy or rigid the 23 felt. Kawi has the best feeling chassis of all IMO.
The price going up every year is crazy. One day itll be a brand new 2024 pickup trucks price. This is crazy. I feel like they should keep the same price for 2-3 year's and then go up. Doesn't sound dumb. Its something i would've done. I've been honestly thinking if i should just move over to honda or yamaha at this point. I can make a 2024 look like a 2025 ktm without paying 10 times more. The shrouds and graphics kit will be cheapear then a 2025 out the box.
There is no way a dirt bike should cost 10k ever. These $100k trucks are junk. My mechanic said any Chevy newer than a 2007 or 08 is junk. Said find an 05 with as few miles as u can and you are WAY ahead. Four strokes ruined dirt bikes for normal people

Huge factor to consider. WP forks are so sticky for the first 10 hours or so. Then give them an oil change with some good seal grease (Slick Honey for the win) and they feel like a whole new fork!
As they should and nice I hope. I’ve got 40hrs on my 23 frame husky it’s suppose to feel broken in but feels a stiff and rigid frame wise as day one. Beats me up every ride and I run a spring fork

@@maxflight777 In Offroad? Where did you read that Bikes currently are Street Only.. But you can get a 450 motor from Offroad on a Chinese Bike from Austria.
KTM is the one that enforces quality not the chinese. Are you an engineer? I am. KTM engineers the bike. That means the engineers determine the quality control. Those engineers are called Industrial Engineers. They have a background in probability. They write the quality testing procedures that the Chinese must follow or lose their manufacturing contract. When you say "it's made in China" means nothing. It's the engineering company that dictates the quality controls to the chinese manufacturer.
Its literally inflation though. If you adjusted for inflation on those old bikes brand new. It would cost roughly the same, in some cases more. To bad they started using Chinese parts in the engines quality is going down
The Chinese quality can be better than you think
Inflation my sack. Bikes were never this damn expensive!
250 2smokes were 4500 in the 90s.
Yz 250 out the door for under 8
It's not the bikes value that changed.
Its literally inflation though. If you adjusted for inflation on those old bikes brand new. It would cost roughly the same, in some cases more.
Lets say you bought a 2007 Honda CR250R brand new which according to google was $6,449 adjusted for inflation in 2024 that same bike would be $10,034 according to the Smart Asset website
e-bikes will take this to 20 grand and idiots will buy them, already are😂
Dont know why my comment disappeared, Its literally inflation though.
A 2007 Honda CR250R cost $6,449 brand new adjusted for todays inflation would be 9757 bucks now according to google
In 2007 a KTM SX450F was $7,198 that would be 10890 now with drastically less technology
other comments so disappeared as well. 4.5k in 1995 adjusted for inflation is 9..3k today so no it’s not just inflation, that’s the lie you are sold.
One word.. HONDA
Ktm 150sx
I'm not impressed because you're basically almost telling me you're pretty much selling me a second hand bike. So you break the bike in. I don't get the point of that. Not to mention now you're telling me it's got less horsepower than previous years. Because I could swear I thought it was like a couple of years ago the thing had like 62 or 63 horsepower or something like that and now you're telling me it's got like 59 so they're turning it down some and you're using the term oh it's not going to snatch out of your arms it's more linear well that's telling me the bike slower. I don't like that why would you turn the bike back oh I forgot it's because of the rainbow liberals that are with the EPA right. I'm just not impressed I mean the bike is supposed to be better. I might as well go get a used one from 2 to 3 years ago
