Yeah, nope. Of course it depends on your skill level. If MXA says one bike is better that the other... we all should listen. But yeah, in the end, get what color and bike YOU want. Money can fix anything:-)

Besides why throw money at anything other than a KTM or it's sibling? Best MOTOR Best Clutch Best Electronics Suite Best All around handling --- what more do you need ?

I've always preferred MXA....even in the olden days of the 80's when you had to go get the paper mag at the local Quickie Mart. Yes, I have a garage full of KTM's but still respected MXA when the Austrians didn't do so well.

None of the bikes mentioned in the video are right for most people. Different people need different things out of their bike.
@@boibus all they did in 2019 was a revalve and it doesent even matter since 70% of riders get their suspension done, and btw the major update for the 450 was 2018 and the 250f was 2019 search it up
Unless you get THOUSANDS off sticker, the RMZ is no real bargain. If I can spend a few hundred dollars more and have the latest tech, suspension, handling, power, less weight, AND e-start, you best believe I’m going that route.

I’ve had issues with my 2022 YZ450F, water pump failed which caused engine to over heat and have top end rebuilt. Fried my stator and fly wheel. Also burnt out starter clutch and had to adjust valves sooner than normal. That being said it’s a rocket and a beast in the sand dunes and trails.

Yeah, that $1600 difference in MSRP goes a looong way in terms of upgrades, wear parts, gas, etc. Honda dealers' freight charges tend to be significantly less than other brand as well.

we had one that exploded on the first start up, yamaha is doing down hill since 2009, but ei they keep selling the trashes w the cp 2 and cp3 engines and has long the ducks keep buying trash they will influence the others on different segments
I think a perfect mix is 4:3 aspect ratio throughout and good colors, but as Kai as a base with a little bit of the Z filler that was cut to add some memorable and fun moments back
In a way I love how every year you give the RMZ such a poor review, keeps it a secret on how excellent this bike really is. Every time I let someone ride my RMZ they are impressed and talk about it for days. These bikes handle so much better than most, and they are so reliable. And it’s a better bike for the heavier rider, 180 lbs+. Which is pretty average weight for most men.

Testing/racing continues until next year! We’re fortunate to be able to keep the bikes year round and we’ll return the 2025s once the 2026 models are ready

Last ktm I rode was a 125 from the early 2000s, it was very different from my Honda or Yamaha I had but very smooth and user friendly. I wonder i how my last year of racing would have been if I I was in something different than a 250f Honda???

Austrian brand changed everything for 23, now they're trying to achieve that previos year pinnacle with changes due to supply changes. 219lbs 64hp of absolute dominance. Roll back, just make the 22 Husqvarna again, podiums for all. Well, except the poors.

I'm a Yamaha guy all the way but if u want the best 125 for racing get a KTM. If you're not an A rider the Yamaha is just fine and will be cheaper to work on in the future, down in power but the suspension is great.
What I've not seen discussed around the weight-savings techniques on the KTM/Husqvarna/GasGas bikes is: Will the thinner walled frame and engine mount cutouts make the bike more likely to suffer frame damage off of big jumps?
