Damn, to think that those other two were the soldiers that were killed in Kyle's flashback in the original movie, and using the same soundtrack even. From what I read the final boss was taken from an unused concept art from either Terminator 1 or 2, don't remember which. Yeah, this is a B game, or a AA game, but it has heart and passion compared to other games with similar qualities
Fuck, this B game, from a dev team that made Rambo the video game ( a shit game), gave The Terminator franchise more respect and love than the last Terminator movie to hit theaters
I enjoyed Terminator Resistance as a whole but when I heard about a story dlc I got worried they might phone it in. Needless to say I loved this dlc. I love the way it fits into the storyline of Terminator.
Omg same dude. This game is amazing. If only we got a movie on how it effect John and Kyles lives when skynet went online and the bombs fell. Imagine Amazing epic trilogy this would be. The only ones that matter Terminator Resistance, The Terminator 1984, and Terminator 2 Judgement. A perfect trio I say.
Crazyyyy all my life i always wondered how Reese got out of there alive and i even thought it was just a nightmare Reese had but it was Rivers who saved him.
@@nathanmcdonald610 It is. The company that got the licence to make the Terminator game is as canon to the movies unless stated otherwise by James Cameron, the IP holder.
When I first finished this DLC and I saw the photo of Sarah Conner, I started to freak out. So much love and care went into Terminator Resistance. I hope they do the same for Robocop.
Im just gonna tell the world that this game is a Terminator canon...period. The developers did a thorough....no...obsessed level of research than those idiots producing Genisys and Dark Fate. James Cameron must notice this game.

@@BaranZenon I know right. Lol but without the screaming part. But totally hear ya. I felt that inside as well. Lol. So dope. 😎 nostalgia at its very best no doubt. We love the first two films so much.
Yeah it's kinda crazy how this connects T1 and T2 (aside from the obvious ways). The main campaign confirmed or at least canonized for itself that all the characters in T1 and T2 who time travel are sent back in the same instance (bad T-800, Kyle Reese, good T-800, and T-1000 on the same night). Now the Annihilation Line and Infiltrator DLCs give us a sense of when Kyle's future war battles take place in relation to T2's future war scenes (of which are depicted in the main campaign's final levels), and it turns out to be not very far off.
Blame the disaster caused by Randy Pitchford that was Aliens Colonial Marines for being one of the reasons why Michael Bien didn't want any part of this.
Wow, if Skynet Machines thoroughly check and confiscated every personal items of every human prisoners they have, they may have gotten the picture of Sarah Conner, and that would have made the T-800 job a lot easier.
That explains how in the first Terminator film, the Terminator had to look up a phone book for addresses with the name Sarah Connor. They had no description of what she looked like, so River's father held on to the envelope that had her picture.
Originally it was John who gave Reese the picture. But in this Timeline he foolishly left it in a time capsule. It was the integrity of Frank Rivers that enabled it's proper delivery.
@@Pakilla64 John couldn't have known if anyone would open the time capsule. Kinda strange that he wouldn't keep it with him at all times. Sure it worked out in the end. But it easily could have went the other way. He left it to chance lol.
This is about on Alien: Isolation levels of good! If this game isn’t considered cannon, someone is doing this a disservice. It is amazing and the story is well thought out. It’s holds up FAR better than Genesys and Dark Fate… and there’s a Dark Fate video game coming soon too… I do NOT have high hopes for that one…
I remember a massive battle going on when Reese and Ferro did their Sapper operation. But otherwise this is insanely consistent. Definitely buying this!
@@bobleeroy5367 In the film there were additional Resistance Soldiers not seen in the game (One manning an M2 Browning for example). Plasma fire coming from other Resistance Forces can also be seen. The Civilians seemed to just be caught in the middle of a huge engagement.
@@bobleeroy5367 Teyon did absolutely beautifully. Best Terminator content since T2. I'm just nitpicking to the extreme. They got it all like 98% right and that alone is cause for celebration.
It can be easily explained that how it is in T1 was how Kyle remembered the event in his dream, with some things off. Aside from the major differences like the massive battle, the dream had the purple lasers as red, and it didn't have Ferro screaming upon death.
When I realized what was going on I was like NOOOOO. The game has its flaws but it's still enjoyable. I really want a fallout style open world terminator resistance game. Where you can upgrade bases and gear.
Im gonna sue the developers if thei wont make a second game. This game is so perfect to the movie: the action, the atmosphere, the movies, the characters...
This DLC was amazing, it fits so perfect with the main story. But the ending, it was the cherry on top, incredible. It connects so much with the first movie, Farro and Elvin were the people in the nightmare Reese had in the first movie. This game did what none of the movies after T2 couldn't do. So much heart and passion went into this game that graphics and other things they could of done better really don't matter at the end. They did a AAA job in this "B" studio.
The only thing I wish they added is Rivers asking Kyle to join him in resistance shelter, since Kyle lost all his crew and he was in shelter when it was attacked
It's pretty sad to think that Kyle nearly died, saw two friends die, watched a new friend's dad die, consoled him, dropped him off at his shelter, and then went back to his own only to see it get wiped out. All within the span of a night.
I’m gonna have to rewatch T1 because I’ve only seen it once and can’t remember all the references everyone is talking about. But I’m confused as to how John was able to plan this all out for Frank to go find and dig up the time capsule, hang on to a letter that isn’t his, and live long enough to deliver it to Reese just so he can obtain a picture of Sarah? Why not just keep the picture and hand it to Reese himself?
I don't care what the critics say, I have played through everything with this game and I would give it at least an eight or nine out of ten. I thought this game was Awesome.! Could have used more ammo and made it easier to upgrade your weapons though.
Sarah, thank you for the courage you showed then, I can't help you with what awaits you, but believe that the future is not given, you have to survive because otherwise I can't exist
I do have the game but that's on xbox one unfortunately I can't play this dlc for some reason but now I know it does connect the film and rivers and Kyle Reese are kinda stuck in trying to save mankind .
You can now, they just sneak released it again naming it Terminator Resistance complete edition with this dlc & infiltrator mode where you get to be the T-800 infiltrator hunting down Tech Com soldiers & targets marked for termination. If you already own the game on xbox one like I did, it allows you to get the next gen upgrade for only $20 rather than full price. Been enjoying it all weekend.
