As a kid this was my dream. If I had enough room now I’d convert an entire room into nothing but old school WWF/WWE and WCW VHS and Blu Ray nostalgia. Everything categorized and neatly organized with a 75 inch flat screen for viewing.
This is still my dream, and I'm 42. It somewhat pains me that this individual has a veritable treasure trove of Coliseum Video releases, yet doesn't know half of the wrestlers featured. I mean, I get it... Not everyone has a nearly encyclopedic knowledge of WWF circa 1987-1993, but then again, not everyone has the entire body of WWF's video content from this period. Well, he best get to watching. I expect him to be able to name EVERY wrestler he was unsure of after he watches them all by... I'll give him until Thanksgiving 2024. That seems fair.
Dude he owns them he wouldn't have to rewind them. ( I get it it's your attempt at humor, just very bad humor. Kind of like the type of joke a slow kid would make if he grew up riding the short bus)
For the longest time I've had the VHS of The Undertaker: The Phenom such a great vhs would watch it all the time as a kid and remember the promotional material in the beginning for other VHS's that were newly released at the time. Good to see it on Vimeo/Dailymotion one of those two fully uploaded!
Why did the previous owner cut up all the original Coliseum Home Video boxes? If you guys remember, the original boxes for a lot of their tapes from like 1989-1992 were the oversized cardboards. Looks like someone cut the front and backs off and then used a ton of scotch tape just taping them onto a different box.
Man, some of those tapes are gold. I have/had a small collection of coliseum tapes. Smack Em Whack Em is a real gem if you're a big Bret Hart fan! The warrior tape is cool and the villains tape is awesome. Love the history with all the small indie video store labeling all over it as well. 😂
If u remember gemni from the old UA-cam days. He had a huge collection of tapes. A huge wall of tapes. That he collected over the decades and kept them . Getting old gemni stalgie vibes
My favorite moment of the "Big Event" was when the referee was checking Hogan's boots Orndorff took the opportunity to blast Hogan with a wicked clothesline.
One of the most memorable was one I rented from the video store with Hillbilly Jim hosting with his momma drinking moonshine and Hillbilly Jim wrestling his dog.
I'm in my 40s i still own over a wwf 100 VHS along with about 30 odd wcw. I'd go to Woolworths or hmv i paid anywhere from £9.99 to £16.49 per tape depending. I got a lot of extras from car boot sales over the years also.
@ That’s a good question. I remember Bret talking about Him and Rude we’re coming in from a flight and had to do a quick match. Bret never mentioned what tape it was though. Sorry I couldn’t help.
That dusty woods may have been a result of them putting that down after hearing dusty say his last name…kinda comes across as woods when u throw his southern accent and lisp into the mix
I just purchased a VCR and my first buy was Royal Rumble 1998. Not sure if I want to get all of the Colosseum videos or just stick with 1998 Royal Rumble and going all the way down to the last WWE VHS tape I'm really debating what I should do. I do have a good significant amount of DVDs in my collection but I'm still thinking if I should complete the VHS collection.
What you should do is keep them and review them and sale the ones you rate low and keep the ones rate high and will rewatch If like the bushwakers watch super tape 1 and 3 as there on both of those .
Ya. I saw the guy selling them at 3 for $10 so I had to offer him for a bundle deal for them all. Should have just left them but here I am. Got to make a cool video and hopefully get these into the hands of someone who’ll watch them
I was more NWA they was more hardcore in the 80s. I did watch WWF in the 80s the too. 90s not that much until stole Cold. Steve, Austin and The Rock caught my attention and then I started watching wrestling again.
@@YuriRetro I was just a kid but I remember. I have been to a couple WWF House shows in the 90's as well. I went to a WWF In Your House PPV in Hamilton ON Canada in '98 or '99 the main event was a Triple Threat match Kane, Undertaker and Stone Cold. I think there was a cage match on that card as well. The House shows are not televised and have no lights in the arena except a spotlight on the ring and wrestler making his entrance. no pyro or video packages either. Just Music.
Holy Shit Brother. That Is The Coolest Story I Heard Today. Being A BIG Fan Of The W.W.F From 1984-94 I Would Have Loved To Have Found Those. It Was Great For A Trip Down Memory Lane. Being A Hulk Hogan Fan, I Switched To The W.C.W. In 1994. If I Wasn't Moving From Canada To Live In The States I Would Have Bought Some.
Neat I’d say keep the best of wwf vol 11& 12 and best Ricky the dragon steam boat and the life and times of captain Lou Albano and rowdy pipers greatest hits Super tape 92 is a disguised paper view with extras
I know dudes who could probably unironically have this happen to them. Just buy buy buy and oops, looks like I got them all. Got any of the rarer end of WCW run? Def an expensive journey to buy in.
This is a grifter who buys stuff to make video content out of. As a genuine wrestling fan, it is obvious this guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Clicks *Dont recommend channel*
I actually despise resellers. If you weren't interested you could have let other people buy the tapes especially if the guy was offering a good deal. Now you're going to jack up the price and try to get triple.

That's awesome because now with everything being censored, you have the originals and if they work will only appreciate in value

Judgement Day 2002…that’s a holy grail on tape right there. Check out the value
It's crazy how many of these I remember seeing, renting or owning (definitely owned WrestleMania VI and the Degeneration X tapes). Awesome haul.
There are 2 versions of the DX tape one is censored, the other has women flashing the camera with no censors

7:27 was George "The Animal" Steele ^^ Great collection!
Yes!!!!
23:12 Judgement Day from May 2000. My dad took me to see this for my birthday at Silver City and I still have the Stone Cold cup I got from it.
One of the most memorable was one I rented from the video store with Hillbilly Jim hosting with his momma drinking moonshine and Hillbilly Jim wrestling his dog.
man you need to digitalize them and upload online.. there are some real hidden gems there.
That’ll get me in trouble

This is neat reminds me of the Video stores cities used to have.
Ya reminds me of the independent ones
Coliseum video was the best!!!
Convert them to Dvd or blu-ray if possible
Backlash 2000 vhs is also a treasure
It's only selling for £11 here in the UK
@7:28 that's was George the Animal Steele, not King Kong Bundy
But did you find the legendary Wrestlemania 0?
4 screen went blank for 4 months..
I remember those late-1991 vhs tapes that had Undertaker vs Ultimate Warrior at house shows was so highly sought-after at the time.
Do any of mine have taker vs warrior at house shows?
Yes, WWF World Tour 1991 has one of them.
Sorry, I meant to say Rampage 1991 had Ultimate Warrior vs Undertaker.
World Tour 1991 has Ultimate Warrior and Hulk Hogan vs Undertaker and Sgt Slaughter in a tag team match, which was also huge hype at the time.
@@YuriRetro yes rampage 1991 & wwf world tour 1991 have those matches
We used to rent WWF tapes, it was still betamax that time
Awesome with the original audio
I just picked up 8 sealed early 90s wwf vhs
Best Of WWF vol. 12 cover-George “The Animal” Steele; Best Of WWF vol. 4-Hogan Vs. Savage.
The homemade cases 😂😂😂
Yaaaa that part sucks but the tapes are mint
Wow dude has just about the whole wwf classic volt in his house them videos alone are instant classic this guy is a legend 💯🫙💨🔥

Lucky I need some of those for my collection
Come get em
There should be an archivist in Toronto that would buy that
If not I’ll just watch em lol
That anoki guy. My God
Take the tapes I don’t deserve them
There’s one tape that’s super rare because it has the Rick Rude vs. Bret Hart match before Bret became WWE World Champion.

I watched that Shawn Michaels vhs over a hundred times. I can recite Michael Hayes SummerSlam '95 commentary down to the tone and pitch.

SIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is sad that the WWF and WCW BOTH killed themselves in 1997.
