honsestly, the old graphics look way better than the "hd" ones
those new ones, lack a lot of personality and essense.
They are not quite fitting, it looks like things are made of some kind of "Plastic"

It's a shame I live in the Philippines... One of the *_slowest_* connections on the planet. Just downloading 10MB takes me more than 2 minutes. :(

I'm playing openttd on android and the only problem is I can't find the way to get old openTTD music and sound effects. Can you help me please?
Aside note: there is a base graphic that is similiar to zbase is abase base graphic and the only thing different from zbase is the gui texture.

I installed the new graphics which are an improvement ( I notice the rivers are still block instead of 'curving' is that right ? About the sound - when you say own transport tycoon which version are you talking about..? I have a windows 95 disk naturally I cant install it now - but non of the folders you talk about are on the old win 95 cd. (I was playing the original version - my first pc game in 1995)

if you go to the game's advanced settings, there's something called autorenew that's turned off by default. You can turn this on. It's under the Vehicles > Autorenew section of openTTD. Be sure to change what settings are available from "Basic" to "Advanced/All" to be able to access this setting.
You can run a similar thing to automatically upgrade your vehicles as well, this is called autoreplace. Both actions can be found on the OpenTTD Wiki. I hope this helps :D

With time, your cars and trains get old and unreliable, and since by that time, i own like 30 of them, I wanna know if there is a way to change them with newer cars/trains without having to set their directions all over.

I downloaded a "abase" graphics, 32bit
But there only 1 problem, I buy a "Long Road Vehicle & Early 30s Long Road Vehicle set" vehicle I brought from Openttd DLC, and the "Long Road Vehicle & Early 30s Long Road Vehicle Set" Vehicle will pixelated in 32bit "abase"

The NewGRF are free. But yes if you replace vehicles with a 8bpp set then you will get an 8bpp set. You would have to find a vehicle replacement set that includes 32 bpp graphics. From wiki:

Just follow the video, you do not need to manually edit the tar files. For the record: they get downloaded in your Documents/Openttd folder, not in the installation directory.
