As a primary ps5 gamer, this app solidified my love for my legion go. Finally was able to get a good connection locally with no audio stutter, and a remote connection more importantly. Looking forward to putting this to the test next time I’m out of town!
Do you prefer this over Chiaki? I have PSPlay on the my phone and it runs things so well. But I have chiaki setup on my LeGo and it's just "okay" when I use it. I'm wondering if the purchase is worth it for the Legion Go. Great video! Cheers
I’m curious I just use the native ps app and it works great for me and I don’t mind plugging in my controller so my question is what’s the big benefit of a the app if one doesn’t mind plugging in the controller?
Yea so your not playing “ handheld “ which is fine but for many like myself thats not gonna work. Also unless they updated it the Native app is capped to 720p.
Will this work if you move away from home? If my PS5 is in one city and if I go for the weekend to my parents house, despite leaving my PS5 on rest mode I can never wake my PS5 either pc or android. If I'm in the same house it works no issues, but the moment I put distance it messes. Considering this app for that reason. So here's the question, will it wake up your PS5 if you are away from home? Internet speed not an issue or console settings P.S. sometimes it's annoying, I was away from home for more days, left my console on rest mode. Couldn't wake it up. When I returned home, found my PS5 shut down. And it's not like someone else shut it off. It shut off by itself. Probably downloaded a system update and it didn't restart anymore. Any fix for it to not do stuff like that?
I’m I the only one who needs to run my Ally’s controller mode in Auto in order to make use of the back buttons? 🤔 Because in Controller mode only it won’t trigger the backbuttons 🤔🤷♀️
Search for the UA-cam tutorial ROG Ally: PS Play Setup Guide in 6 Easy Steps | PS5 Remote Play It shows how you can configure it. I can't post links here as UA-cam will remove it as Spam.
Not just you, could never get it them to work since I wanted to map the PS button to one of the back buttons. In Gamepad mode, I could only get the back button to work if I mapped the Xbox button it in gamepad mode on PS Play...but that would trigger my Steam and with more presses, I will end up with big picture mode running in the back ground and all my button presses will control Steam and PSPlay at the same time which is a disaster. In Auto mode, it works tho.
The same risk you run buying any app or program out here official or not. You pay to use these things now. One would hope if support were to disappear that we would get a license free download to keep. That be the hope whether it’s independent dev or a big company
In steam deck yea. I love it. Its always been lacking on windows tho. Unless someone has recently made a new version in the past couple months it still lacks touchpad support which is needed in alot of games. Over internet setup is more difficult and less reliable for me as well. Chiaki is great tho just a lot different from the psplay setup which I do prefer
Correct ps play app I bought on android years ago and it's the best remote play app around for playstation, guy always stays on top of the updates as son as sony update the system software. @@GameTechPlanet
@@GameTechPlanetChiaki4deck is now also available for Windows (with the same name) and it’s really great. A little drops here and there but nothing like the OG Chiaki 🤷♀️ It’s comparable with Chicki4deck on the deck 👌 Running it on my Ally and it’s been fine. However I’ve also beta tested PSPlay for Windows. It’s really good.
Can you remote connect to your ps5 if your ps5 at home is connected to the internet via Ethernet and you’re outside with your rog ally using your 5G mobile data hotspot? It’s not working for me for some reason.

Do you think is good enough to play gran turismo 7 on the legion go?
I almost return my legion go to amazon, now with this, stay with me
Can it play with public network ? I used chiaki before but i cannot set port forword to play outside my home network.

I can connect my Go to my PS5 but my Go controls are not working any clue on how I can fix that
Wondering as well controls not working
same
You must switch to gamepad mode when you are using PSPlay or the Legion Go/ Rog Ally controller will not act as a fully functional gamepad
How to go home screen? Which button?
Have you tried Chiaki? Is this better?
Is this a motley payment thing? Or one payment thing? I don’t want to waste money every month for something that I can do for free.
You buy the license one time for the platform you want
I got ripped off app don't work on my legion go smh
Sorry man its working on my Go fine. Not sure the issue maybe you can reach out to the dev.
Don’t buy third part apps. Use official app.

Who can explain how to get gyro working with the rog ally in psplay?
When away from home does connecting over wifi just turn the ps5 on using remote connect? I have been searching for a way to do that for months
If you keep your PS5 in rest mode, you can wake it remotely.
Mine keeps stuttering and becomes unresponsive. Any fixes?
It works great on MSI Claw, Chiaki works too but I cant remap keys so, i couldn't use the touch pad, this fix this.

Can I keep the ps5 on rest mode, or does it have to be on all the time?
Rest mode is fine 👌
Is it better than the ps portal?
I think yes but the controller look better ps portal. I waiting new ROG Ally X in late 2024
I think the portal is more simple
It’s not. Ps portal has full haptic feedback just like PS controller.
This is a paid app. So what happens to your money if it stops working in the future since it isn't an official PS app.
