Great video! I’m going to Ocean City/Assateague next weekend, and I’m somewhat new to saltwater fishing down there. Are there kingfish/scup/whiting etc. in the surf in early April? If so, what are they eating? If not, do you know of any other spots/species to fish for (like Tog)?
Tog are definitely around. Not from the surf of course but around rt 50 pilings. I know whitings are running heavy in NC im not sure if they made there way up here yet. Spot and croaker might be early for april. Everything likes squid in the surf but get you some shrimp too and see what they prefer that day. My friend caught a schoolie off rt 50 last week so theyre slowly making their way up north now. Good luck
You should do some thing at Conowingo Dam especially targeting Channel cat which Riggs will work best and fast moving water hopefully you’ll be able to do something keep up the good work I love your videos Best informed videos I’ve seen in a while

@@oliverb5947 just schoolie striper and tog. Locals like green crabs for tog but i prefer shrimp. Blues start running in may so it's still early
