listen, ok, I had a bro that I played with in church pre covid, it was mainly an all white church, we had a few of us in here, but baby, when he knew his pops was about to feel it and close, he knew exactly how we do it! I’m like, hold on! they ain’t ready for this! we were like, lord jesus.
LAWD.....I'm waiting fo my Grandma to tell me to turn around and sit back and shut up....He ain't white he is just REAL LIGHT skinned 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 .....YOU BETTA PLA BOYEEE!!!!!!.... COME ON JESUS!!!!!!
Awesome organ playing right there. When I was a kid I was growing up to the sounds of Aretha Franklin (Live at New Temple Missionary Baptist Church, Los Angeles, January 13, 1972) I'm now playing guitar in church and I'm English!
😀That back pocket said he knew what he was doing. He killed the game and made that thang hummmmmm. The drummer is feeding off all of that energy, I love it! #hammondplayer
Heard an Indian guy at a Bible College (Zion Bible College, iirc) in Rhode Island back in the mid-90s that was one of the best gospel organists I've ever heard.
listen, I’ve met so many of our white brothas and sistas who absolutely got a lot of soul in em, in fact, I’ll always remember one I met during lockdown, and whew, she don already got the card. she admitted she’d ditch they food any dang day and go for a real plate. then once I heard them vocals, I’m like, I was shook. she was flat foot sangin!
Look, he grew up in an Apostolic church. They did fellowship with a COGIC/Pentecost Church. After service in the fellowship hall, he met LaShonda who is now his wife. And, the rest is history!
He's a native of the Lafayette, La area and yes he is really a beast on that Hamond. The closest church to his house when he was grown up was a baptist church.. He's ordained and playing at a COGIC church also.
Not to take anything away from his abilities, but this sounds like a Hammond organ, you know the kind Billy Preston played back into the day. You find them in a lot of Black churches and they are worth quite a bit of money. We have one at our church and when we had to get a "Good Ole Boy" to come out and fix it, he pretended it was broken beyond repair and offered to haul it off for us and pay us a "coupla dollarz fer it." Lucky for us, our choir director knew exactly what we had and what it was worth.
There are very few who have this gift. I would swear they'd been touched by the Father our God. You can't be taught this. It's just a feeling and a wanting that can't be described. Talent only takes you so far.
He's not as hot on the volume pedal which is part and parcel of this style with sudden volume changes intermixed with soulful gradual crescendos. Instead his is virtually flat throughout.
Music has no color, praise has no color, love has no color...
You got me saying amen at 3 am 😂
It doesn't feel the same.
we really don't need that, just keep it to yourself. It ruins the Time
Thank you. Soul is soul. It transcends something as trivial as skin color.
The guy, like others of his kind, was most likely trained in classical music. Doesn't get any worse or stereotypical that that. Not good.
Them fingers got soul in them. This is a product of the black church
I can't help looking at that big wallet sticking out of his back pocket, I know they pay him well... Super good pay.
listen, ok, I had a bro that I played with in church pre covid, it was mainly an all white church, we had a few of us in here, but baby, when he knew his pops was about to feel it and close, he knew exactly how we do it! I’m like, hold on! they ain’t ready for this! we were like, lord jesus.
Absolutely! We all need to get back to that!
LAWD.....I'm waiting fo my Grandma to tell me to turn around and sit back and shut up....He ain't white he is just REAL LIGHT skinned 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 .....YOU BETTA PLA BOYEEE!!!!!!.... COME ON JESUS!!!!!!

It's only the eyes of the flesh that see colour. Unity in the Holy Spirit and the anointing doesn't see it.
That aint true. Blackness is descriptive in the bible
@@toddmaek5436 so are you saying you think that God sees black people as bettered worse in his eyes?
Holy ghost moves through this man's fingers 🙌🏻
I was ready to throw something at him!🤣🤣🤣

10/10 The phrasing starting at 3:30 is great. Not overpowering the vocals but complementing then.

Mmm... white guy? I guess a Afro-American Albino... :-)
When you got it you got it. God bless him and you too!
He's not as hot on the volume pedal which is part and parcel of this style with sudden volume changes intermixed with soulful gradual crescendos. Instead his is virtually flat throughout.
