Congratulations to Munster and the Irish! It was a pleasure hosting you guys and having a lekker chat/beer with you guys after the game. Thanks to the dude from Limerick for the legendary Jersey swap.
Thanks for the South African A game. That was the turning point of the season, allowing the new blood a big game. Many of those finished the season as starters. Fantastic game/atmosphere too
Beating Stormers, away, a few weeks back was the makings of this. They had no thinking "We can't beat these guys", they were thinking "We've just beaten them, let's do it again" PS: As an Irish rugby fan... Thanks to the RFU for Lancaster, Rowntree, and Farrell
As a season ticket holder this is huge. The lads I go to the games with we we’re all saying at the start of the season the losses were fine because the rugby looks good. Once it clicked we were flying. I’m still celebrating. On Tuesday having a few beers to cool down after the weekend and thomand last night. Thomand is so cold on a winters evening losing to Glasgow. So many disappointments the last decade. The last 12 years have been so draining. I’m so proud of my local lads bringing it home. Mumhan abú 🦌 🦌
Delighted for Graham Rowntree and all the coaches at Munster. Was Graham part of that English coaching exodus ( Andy Farrell and Stuart Lancaster) back in 2015 after the poor England WC performance? Anyway, he and the other England exiles have found a home in IRL and have done themselves proud with their contributions.
Listening to the SA's talking down Munster was brilliant, they obviously don't know much about Munsters history and there record of upsetting the odds. They beat SA last year and beat the Stormers twice before the final. A great win and huge boost for the club.
Here is a Saffa that celebrates with you! The best team won. Unlike the fluke win of the Bulls over Leinster last year which handed the URC cup on a platter to a team which would never have made it without home-crowd support.
Massively impressed by Munster at the weekend. Defensively imperial. But also they were throwing the ball around (backs and forwards) like Leinster and Glasgow in the final. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
So happy for Munster, they were worthy winners. I have been fortunate to have visited Thomond Park for games and have loved the atmosphere and meeting the fans after. Especially delighted for POM, maligned by some fans, but i think he is such a good player.
If I may respectfully point out, it's pronounced "snay-mun". And as a long time Bok fan, it is incredible to see him back in action, even playing for the opposition! Cannot wait to see him back in Green and Gold!
Just to update on O'Rowntree, there's preliminary talks on canonisation, so soon to be St. O'Rowntree! Seriously though, the turnaround since the start of the season has been amazing. Expectations for next year have now been re-set back to its level of the glory days - i.e. very high, lets hope the team and management get the time and space next year to make mistakes whilst moving onwards.
I was at the game and a massive Stormers fan. Very disappointing to not win but Munster dominated the game. Very much deserved to win and i'd have felt like we robbed Munster if we won.
I have the highest respect for this type of comment. You should have at least a thousand "thumb-ups". My 'thumb-up' is from a massive Bull's supporter.
So my question to the Rugby Pod Gang is, what has Munster's Win done for Ireland? Last week there was speculation about what damage Leinster's loss to La Rochelle might have done to Ireland.
As a leinster fan. I think leinster disrespected Munster by playing b team and we suffered it in the big final. Delighted for Munster though. Makes Irish rugby stronger
@@baruchhashem49 Sorry, I don't see how the Leinster team that lost to Munster was a mark of disrespect - the way you make it sound, Munster should have steamrolled such a 'B Team'. Remind me what was the final score in that 'trouncing'.
Munster definitely the better team. Stormers kick chase all day, just gave away possession, all 66% of it. First sign of madness, do the same thing and expect a different result. This will be SA achilles heel in World Cup. Libbok had another bad game against Munster.
Libbok is a great flyhalf. Do not underestimate him. Yes, it would have been a very bad day for rugby if the Stormers managed to beat by penalty kicks a clearly superior Munster side bolstered by my old favourite R.G. Snyman. Mooi so, R.G.!
Look at O'Mahony's facepalm again and why the camera zoomed in away from him. It was to hide the laughter FFS: The one time we would have seen POM laugh at an interview and they pan away

Jersey swap is class! Good on both of you lads!
Murray was absolutely excellent....from an Irish guy in SA, so funny to chat with local guys, they absolutely numb!!!! lol lol

A fully fit Snynam is a game changing player and a joy to watch.
The man is a beast. Delighted that Munster basically said "take your time" and he repays that by not fecking off when he could easily have done.
South African hands typed this message
Our lads played a blinder! Delighted for them!
Springboks must be so happy seeing Snyman back to his best .
Munster fan: Yay!!
Irish fan: Ah shite
Maybe worried about ireland now
Munster played without fear........a leinter fan here
The best loved club rugby team on the planet .... Munster forever

This was the review i was looking forward to most. Best rugby pod pod pod out there. Cheers lads!
Looks like Snymen timed his run perfectly for a 2nd WC🤙
Yeah fantast.... hey hold on a minute!
@@Norrie_Rugger WC run

Snay-munster
Fair pod as always boys
Munster was great. Stormers learned a hard lesson. Let's go Bokke!

Let’s not forget how good Archer has been this year and especially in the final six games for Munster.
Agreed. Wonderful performance. I did not see this coming
Two words. Conor Murray.
Great analysis guys!

Love your podcast lads
Connor Murray of old did on see that coming back
It was close. Could of and possibly should been a few more scores in it though. Munster were definitely the better side

Munster did'nt win the URC, Leo Cullen gifted it to them, when he decided to leave 13 starters sitting in the stands for the semi final.
Bitter clown
Stormers were especially dogshit in all fairness, I don't think Munster played especially well honestly
Ah go easy on the graciousness, you're going to make us blush.
@@harshbutfair8993 I'd say the comment was harsh but fair
