Well deserved, die hard Stormers fan, I admit, we got beat by a supurb Irish side, full stop. I remember the Irish beating the All Blacks on St Paddys day couple years back, they showed so much courage, that day everything changed in rugby IMOH. 🏉 🍀
Thank you to the channel creators for giving us the full highlights package. Now can this concept continue next season for EVERY GAME please? Like we see in the Six Nations. Not just the ones that are more favoured than the other games
seriously with how great the league as been they should capitalize and release longer highlights
the only official highlight i have seen that are long are the official super rugby pacific youtube channel, six nations channel, the new zealand rugby channel for the mitre/itm cup and premiership rugby.
NHL also releases 8 to 9 min for each game they have too.
Earls coming in off his wing at 74;15 is such an experienced read. Can't teach that when forwards and inside backs are running hard lines. That created a lot of space.
The video of the stormers celebrating Munster beating Leinster showed how much they underestimated munster. Feel bad for them but how they underestimated munster was shocking.

I'd love to know what team you think *doesn't* talk like that about the opposition. That is not a sign of disrespect or underestimation, it is fighting talk for players who are preparing to battle. I can guarantee you that both Ireland and England were talking like that before the 6N final, because if you don't think you have a chance, if you don't think you are going to take it to the opposition, then there really is no point in even playing, is there?

I wanted the Stormers to win but yeah that bit of show-boating from Libbok was in very bad taste. Hopefully he can come down to earth and learn some humility - Someone who is that emotional at 10 is a big weakness in the big games. A player that good needs to be smarter, especially as I see him as the future Springbok 10.

The advantage before the intercept try was pathetically short, makes me suspect Frisch thought it was a free play.
No it wasn't. They played two phases and they were under no pressure. Knock-on advantage will always be called over at that point. Frisch just threw a stupid, crap, forward pass - it was 100% his fault and no one else's.
I think that Irish board executives were right when they searched for the arrive of South African franchises within the former Celtic league. I thought that S.A franchises, which were used to compete - and often to win- against New Zealand and Australia super strong franchises would arrive in Europe and dominate every match 60-3. But surprisingly their arrive was followed by a serious improvement in Irish way of playing rugby, that was already very strong- and after only one year Irish franchises have managed to compete, both physically and in handling- against Bulls, Sharks and Stormers
Don't think you realise that in 26yrs of Super Rugby in Southern Hemisphere that South Africa only had one team (Bulls) win it 3 times and Australia won it 4 times between 3 Teams where NZ have won it 19 times between all 5 of their franchises winning it at least once!!! Crusaders have dominated but my point is you guys in the north have not had the cream of Southern Hemisphere rugby so am looking forward to seeing the best of the best come head to head in the future..

What kind are of rugby was that? Where was the coach with plan B or C? The players just did their own thing and it wasn’t working! In key games you put points and n the board. Munster outplayed them on all levels ! Beautiful running rugby . The Stormers have some of the fastest players in their team. They hardly saw the ball. You cannot run through players. Reminds me how hard Breyton and Habana had to work to just get the ball. We need young blood with modem thinking and reading the opposition! What a disappointing performance!
There is a massive pressure now on teams like Leinster and Stormers to improve - this is exactly what we wanted as Irish rugby fans and the competition will only go from strength to strength in the coming years.
This was close ... I just feel there were some refereeing decisions that could have been reviewed - maybe I'm blind but Roos didn't deserve the yellow card and that knock-on at the end seemed to be a Munster player playing the ball on the ground ??? ... that doesn't take away from the fact that Munster travelled to the RDS and to Cape Town to become deserved champions ... Irish Rugby is incredible and we can't wait to meet you at the World Cup :) BOKKE ;)
The Roos yellow card was very blatant. If the player is miles offside and stops a promising attack 5m from the try line, then it's obviously a yellow card.

He was in an offside position prior to the ball coming out. He needed to fall further back to be onside.
leinster turned up about 5 or 6 kickable 3 pointers would of won the game if had taken them.

We don't watch northern hemisphere rugby but this looked like a mad game. Similar to Super Rugby and a lot of continuity. BTW, should've been a penalty against Munster. That player was in an offside position to knock the ball out of the halfbacks hand. Argh. What could have been. Great game lads.

Have to say that I don't find South Africans to be arrogant at all. Of course they were delighted to see Munster beat Leinster as it meant (1) a home final and (2) a home final against the team who finished fifth rather than away to the one who finished first. We'd have been exactly the same in their situation.
Why didn't your fans hang around out of respect to see the award ceremony. If it was in limerick I GAURUNTEE the munster fans would have stayed if the stormers won

The Italian referee is criticized because World Rugby is actually a mafia. Rugby must grow in other nations, but not in a way that causes upset, or by having referee not in the big circle could refereeing in a fair way may cause big team to lose

Libbok's arrogance at scoring the first Stormers try said a lot about his character unfortunately. The guy had played shit against Munster in the previous round, is on hand to take what is in fact a pretty easy intercept when you watch it back here - he does well not to drop it/knock it forward, but in fairness has an easy run in once he maintains possession, showboats as he scores which is all the more ridiculous when you consider how early in the game his try came, and then becomes pretty redundant for much of the rest of the time he's on the pitch. Karma's a bitch. You'd hope he's watched this game back and cringed when he saw himself make an arsehole of himself, but truth is he's probably found a way to blame the Ref. for making him look like an arrogant twat.
