A lot of good insight, thank you! Regarding 12-step programs, one aspect of choosing a god of your understanding is to not rely on your own ego anymore, which is crucial for spiritual development in and of itself. What ”god” you give yourself to matters too, as you say, so i dont agree fully with the 12-steps.
Insane amount of commercials… besides being abrupted and forced on content every 3rd minute or so, we are being used as merchandise by this among all other internet use. What world do we want to live in?

I just stumbled upon this video when I was researching if inner child work is "kosher" as a Christian and I am so inspired and encouraged by the things that you say. I will listen to more of your work. Thanks and praise be to the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord 🙏

Totally understand the not counseling children. If the parents aren't going to do the work, therapy won't help the child change, parents need to change first.

This is a fact. I wanted to get my child a behavioral therapist but something told me to not go through with it because it is me who needs to change. Once I made changes to my reactions to myself and him, his behavior got better

Thanks for that, interesting perspective. I am curious to know the method for healing that you are referring to at the end of this video?
I have been trying Kinesiology which uses muscle testing while asking the subconscious yes or no questions to get to the root of past events that have been keeping me stuck in life, and I feel its really helped me release trapped emotions and feel more myself. At the same time I usually take whatever comes up and ask God to help me or I ask the Holy Spirit to guide me in those sessions and I am usually able to pin point the specific events that are fueling my destruction behaviour very quickly. Intrestingly enough, I usually feel that emotion on steroids for a few days or weeks after the session and then it goes away.
    Thank you,
    God bless 🙏

Thank you for sharing. It sounds like there are aspects of what you are doing personally that are getting to what God requires, such that you are listening for what He is speaking or bringing up in you. It is important to listen to our bodies, dreams, feelings, memories, circumstances... all of the ways that God is speaking. However, I have a feeling that God will bring you away from the field of science, which denies Him to deeper understanding of what He wants. I have written two books - one is about healing and the times and the other is a workbook (Heart-Known Series). They are available for free in pdf on the homepage of this channel and they will help you to better understand the method I use that is biblically based and explained from that biblical perspective. I hope that will help!

Do you think Christians should take antidepressants aka SSRI medication? Thanks

Hi Carl. As a Christian, I do not believe that God wants us to take any medication based on what He outlined in the word. He wants us to know that He is the Lord our healer (Ex. 15:26). He also told us what would be the condition of this "wicked generation" and He never counseled us to take medications or offer diagnoses, but rather to return to God and repent (turn from our wickedness). He taught us that the mind, heart, and body manifest the spiritual condition of the soul. He said, "When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.” (Matt 12:43-45)

Sin is the problem, ultimately. Grace & truth (which come through and by Jesus Christ) fulfills the law (of Moses) and is a new law in itself, the law of liberty. Repentance & forgiveness are a lifestyle of grace and truth. Faith hope and love are the path to ultimate freedom in obedience to Messiah. For His yoke is easy and His burden is light. For you are now dead and your (true/eternal) life is hidden in Messiah with God.

You are 100% correct. The work that I'm teaching is designed to actually live out faith, repentance, forgiveness, and healing, rather than giving it the superficial lip service to which God's people have become accustomed. People can say all of the good things you've said and have no clue how to actually put it into practice. The way that I teach this process (for free btw, no secondary gain for me) is designed to facilitate personal examination and accountability for sin, while also acknowledging how we got there and what is emotionally keeping us stuck in patterns of sin. There are emotional components that need to be examined and worked through, but due to increasing wickedness and lack of shepherds in the home, there is a missing repertoire for how one actually engages in personal reflection to the extent that they actually bring themselves back to God in the way He requires- in humility, contrition, and accountable change. The work I teach is not the only way, but in the absence of proper parenting and development, this is one way that is based on the word of God. Much of this work is designed to teach how to repent and what the fruit of repentance actually is. That is, change. Most are not getting there. Repentance for them is superficial and fruitless because they have not learned how to truly examine themselves and heal in Christ the way that He has designed us to heal. That is how this work can help, not as the world does it, but only in accordance with the word of God.

@@asoulalignedhowgodhealshis6682 very good and be encouraged. The element that is missing, I think, is faith. All good things (including healing and freedom from sin) are he product of walking humbly with the Lord, or in other words, intimacy with Him, which I believe is mainly found in prayer. The crucial component of intimacy with Abba is faith; asking must be without doubting if we are to recieve. For apart from faith no man can please.... / But let your asking be without doubt... (I know you know these citations). The other element that is a grave need today is a healthy, functioning Body, as in the Body of Messiah. You mentioned shepherds in the home, and I would add to that shepherds in the church. I believe we need an environment of grace and truth to heal and become whole, which is ultimately maturity in Messiah. Maturity is the product of healthy families, and healthy families exist with far greater frequency in healthy communities (the proverbial village). It really does take a village and the bible is very clear on this. Otherwise, we are islands or our family is an island. Anyway keep up the good work!! & Thank you!
